Agreed. Recreational objects for chronically undeveloped persons are unnecessarily complicated in this modern day and age. I'd rather buy a few simplistic toys (yo-yo, bouncing ball, etc) locally then Chinese overly complex ones anyday. -------------------- Will it be the voscious man eating Potatoe Salmon, the slumbering monster Pet Rock, or the scurvy infected Sabretoothed Lime? Wow, that's sad. I'll probably stop once I go to college. My life will be to chaotic to commit until I'm economically stable, and eventually I'll get married, which will draw me away further. I expect to only visit occasionally to reminesce fondly and check for updates. -------------------- "This is the King of the Knob Goblins. All Knob Goblins everywhere bow to his rule! Despite your alarmingly high postcount, you're still fairly new to the boards, Iffy. The same goes with me, although for the amount of time I've been registered, the reverse is true with my post count. I started out as goldenking, posted a variety of rather unuseful thoughts, as I was eight years of age. The only one that ever had any real potential was the idea of having a "Shaper Partner". Anyways, I later returned as Goldenking, and my post quality improved. Afterwards, I started changing my PDN, sticking with the "-king" at the end. -------------------- "This is the King of the Knob Goblins. All Knob Goblins everywhere bow to his rule! Nioca, I object to that statement. Morally, neither of them have the highground, with genocide for Shapers and the equivelant of WMDs for the Rebels. Meanwhile, the Rebels are far more liberal then the Shapers, if implementing a caste system. Frankly, this is just a radical move to the left, giving far more freedoms to the creations and taking out the dictators. What's more, I have no doubt that with the power of Shaping available to the masses, and the difficulty of controlling the Unbound, that the Drakons would be unable to do anything unpopular. -------------------- "This is the King of the Knob Goblins. My favorite so far. Though I have to say, the Shaper with the Wingbolt has a large eye and his mouth seems very open. What's more, something about the Artilla looks odd, but I can't nail it down. -------------------- "This is the King of the Knob Goblins. All Knob Goblins everywhere bow to his rule! Last time I checked there was no "Halloween" in the Avernum/Exile world, and the Geneforge world seems utterly holiday-less, most likely due to the remoteness of the areas and the, you know, epic warfare. So, I'm hoping Dikiyoba goes with no. Although, for comic value, since you suggested it, it would be nice if there were a bit were you celebrated Halloween, which no one knows about, and everyone thinks you've gone sane or something. -------------------- "I'm happy I'm the mentally disturbed person I am." -Nioca "Yes, Iffy is a demon." -Iffy Posts: 1186 | Registered: Friday, June 18 2004 07:00 |

Yeah, you forgot the Awakened and Trakovites, which are the most level headed bunch. I'd go for the Awakened personally, but failing that I'd become a Rebel. Similar to the Barzites, but more pro-freedom! The moderators can have their bad points, but they're generally a good group. They need more power, methinks. -------------------- "This is the King of the Knob Goblins. All Knob Goblins everywhere bow to his rule! Protesting in general? Power to the people, man. Protesting in the education system? Unless it's an actual grievance (sexism, racism, etc.), it's a waste of time. For this particular protest? Truancy is a crime, and should be treated as such. What's more, if you're messing around on MySpace/Facebook, you aren't paying attention to the teacher. There are better ways to be heard. -------------------- "This is the King of the Knob Goblins. All Knob Goblins everywhere bow to his rule! Iffy, so is everything else. You have to take everything with a grain of salt, whether it's your best friend, us, or Google. A search engines results for something like this can be tested easily. I feel that custom titles should be more stringent, no more then one new/changed custom title per annum, revoke many, do not allow moderators to have custom titles based on their modships, reformations to prevent bribery/eliminating titles that were bribed into existence, and generally force people to sell their lives to Spiderweb to get a costum title. -------------------- "This is the King of the Knob Goblins. In Soviet Russia, Rebels support the Democratic Party! The above sentence gives my opinion that this is very Americentric, and that I'm a Democrat-Rebel. The poll is incomplete. There are a large amount of parties not available, and there are many sides (Awakened, Trakovites, Rising, etc.) not represented. Personally, I side with the Rebels because without them, the oppression would continue, the Trakos not existing. Stir the people, get the monotony out of their mind, make the majority demand freedom, that should create a better alternative then either of them. Although Trakovism wouldn't be a bad idea either, and can be generated in the masses via escalation and continued warfare. Something like England's Parliament. -------------------- "This is the King of the Knob Goblins. All Knob Goblins everywhere bow to his rule! So, he's something to do with A/E3, most likely X, the triad, the Tower of Magi, or the various Xian items. There are a few I can think of that match the description, but it's not to helpful. Time will tell, I suppose. -------------------- "I'm happy I'm the mentally disturbed person I am." -Nioca "Yes, Iffy is a demon." -Iffy Posts: 1186 | Registered: Friday, June 18 2004 07:00 |

The first post I found in the Archive was one speculating what was behind the Mysterious Door of G2, which we now of course know was Ghaldring. However, I am fairly certain my first post was actually a topic of suggestions for G3, which included among other things a fellow Shaper student who could fight beside you. -------------------- "This is the King of the Knob Goblins.
