I'm pretty sure I'm rather close to the bottom of the list. :P Hooray for semi-lurkism! :P

Edit: Hehe, I just realized I have very close to 1/10 of Drakefyre's posts.

The complexity and amount of effort needed to make it work just exceeded my desire to make it do so. I'll just wait the 3 months, as usual.

Thanks for your help though.

I downloaded and tried to launch it. It says "A required .DLL file, SDL.DLL, was not found."

Anyone know what this means?

I have always thought Exile was better than Avernum. True, A1 and A2 have much better interface than E1 and E2, but I think E3 is far better than A3 and BoA still seems somewhat below BoE. Exile is classy and retro, Avernum isn't up to date enough to match the new stuff coming out and isn't retro enough to match Exile.

Edit: And to echo the above, I have nothing against Avernum and in fact own A1-2 and BoA, I just don't think it matches up to Exile.

I would be happy if you got them all at 100 rather than 10. 10 does lots of damage, but not nearly god damage.

For god party, give my characters the spells at as high a level as BoA will allow please. Unlimited money is nice, but past lvl 15 you need to step on the rune to buy 1 level of 1 spell. I don't have half of my spells as high as they can go and I've been working on it for over an hour.

Oops, guess I'm not as much of an oldbie as I thought. My mistake. Does that make me a middlebie or you an ancientbie?

If I am not mistaken, the message boards started less than 6 months before I joined, how much older can you be in the community? Did you all interact somhow before they were created? How would you have known that each other existed? If the community is older than I believed, please excuse my ignorance.

Unfortuanately, this has yet to work for me. Although, it would probably help if rather than lurking interspersed with 30 post splurges I actually did something to make people aware that I exist.

It should also be noted that Drakey seems to give "good" titles to those with notable accomplishments and less than savory random titles to people who are well known, just for entertainment.

Clearly, the way to gain a custom title is to make a notable contribution or cause Drakey to beleive that tormenting you would be fun.

Though I agree that intent must be taken into account, I am mildly offended by the slang. Though I am perhaps a bit more sensitive because it applies to me. Discovering you are homosexual makes you look at a whole lot of things in a different light.

I recall doing this also. I just reloaded though. Don't recall how I did it or if it was before or after the battle.

Can UBB do the image shrinking? To whom can we appeal for the return of avatars.

Also, for those who wanted to know, avatars are a picture under your name that you choose to represent you.
