Yeah, you'll definately want to put some protection spells on your party before fighting him when he has the ice crystal. Btw, Cloud of Blades seems to work really well on him. -------------------- Nobody appreciates me. It's all "Igor! Fetch some wine!" "Igor! Clean up this experiment!" or "Igor! I love using the Geneforge. After doing so, I was able to make 6 drakons with +2 int each. Honestly, having that much firepower is just absurd. -------------------- Nobody appreciates me. What I would like in Avernum 5 is the alchemy system back, and maybe even expanded. For example, instead of having the only potions you can make be plain vanilla heal/bless/cure/haste buffing potions, you could make, say, volatile potions that would have a similar effect to a fireball, or poisons and acids you could apply to weapons. On top of this, the crafted potions could increase in efficacity with your alchemy skills, making an alchemist-style character a valid build. -------------------- Nobody appreciates me. Thadh Shades are quite useful. They are diffcult to hit, soak up dmg well, seem practically immune to poison, and hit for decent dmg. -------------------- Nobody appreciates me. It's all "Igor! I really want to see more crafting, but not so much with trivial items like wands of fire (not worth using a stick for). I also want a greater variety of low-level creations, possibly even a new catagory of creatures aside from Fire, Battle, and Shaping. Starting every game with a fyora is ... meh. -------------------- Nobody appreciates me. It's all "Igor! Fetch some wine!" "Igor! Clean up this experiment!" or "Igor! I get my slith spearman to tank, while my nephil archer chips away at the pylons (both hasted). I cure the slith after each pylon dies, so he takes very little poison dmg while the other pylons and Kravit become more poisoned with each pylon that dies. -------------------- Nobody appreciates me. That's why I love Blizzard. All their games are hybrid: they can be installed onto either Mac or Windows from the same disk. And saying that Jeff should publish for Windows first because more people used Windows is saying that the majority is always right. This, of course, is false. (see GWB, for example). -------------------- Nobody appreciates me. It's all "Igor! Fetch some wine!" "Igor! Clean up this experiment!" or "Igor!
