Every time Nalyd or Iffy mention a new episode, a part of my soul dies, and I reach for my eye-gouging pencil. Gah. ----- As for UBB dying. Yes. It has been freezing a lot lately. But meh. It's not as anything decent has been said here for a while, and all the old stuff is saved. -------------------- And if you have five seconds to spare Then I'll tell you the story of my life... *It'll make sense if you read "tomato" as "toe-mah-toe"... Erm... Right. I'd been meaning to explain myself for a while, and now seems like a good time. Okay. Everything is finished. On paper. I've been without a computer for a while now, so actually making the thing is the real problem. I mean, I had to give Thralni EP to finish, which is why it's not done yet - it'd have been out for ages otherwise. Back to PS, I have 4 towns done and most of the coding, which is nice. When I get a computer again, I'd expect to finish it fairly quickly. Until then, meh. So, if you want to send me money to buy a new system, please do :P -------------------- And if you have five seconds to spare Then I'll tell you the story of my life... *It'll make sense if you read "tomato" as "toe-mah-toe"... quote:You wouldn't believe how much I want to misquote this... I find it an outrage that only three people think that Brian Wilson is a God!! Good Vibrations people!! GOOD VIBRATIONS! I also find it disgusting that the word "was" is used in the question. He stills tours!! And, finally, your new name reminds me of a word that is decidely un-PC, and would no doubt cause scowls from ceratin quarters. As a long-time reader, not-so-first time poster here, I feel I need to shout loudly at Nalyd here. Sure, the forum is going to vanish into some time last month, but that doesn't mean you need to foul it up with crap. RWG is reknowned for it's spam, but unlike the rest of the crap that floats throughout Spidweb, the spam here is 106% pure, unfiltered spam. Nopt some gimmicky rubbish about undead. So, cram it. In other news, the King or Queen is dead or alive. Long live the King or Queen. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Who do you need to know? Windows ME supported native compression too, AFAIK. And I think AppleWorks is the Mac equivilant of MSOffice/Works. Personally, I use Crimson Editor as a notepad, instead of MSNotepad, I use Paint Pro 7 for image editing, and flit between iTunes and MWP depending on my mood (and whether I need to update my iPod or just listen to music). -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? I'm guessing this is a Mac thing, since Windoze would just give you an unhandled exception, and kill BoA. GraphicAdjuster, or redownloading from somewhere else (Maybe TM's own site?) should help. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Who do you need to know? Yeah, Laz was right. And I didn't even notice that the Readme says "Bandits!" still... Huh. Anyway, good work Kel. Believe it or not, but I actually have to take out scenarios from the BoA folder now in order to play others. This is truly a great thing. I haven't sent TV or TENG, because AGB is still on the untried page even after god-knows how many months. I keep meaning to, but the delay just seems really pointless when I can get it on the SV list in less than a day. If Jeff were to set aside a few minutes each day updating (cus seriously, it can't take THAT long to do it), I would send them - I mean, I have nothing against the SpidWeb tables. It's just far too long a wait for me - AGB only got posted after about 4 or 5 months. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Just one more thing: I tended to keep a Wingbolt around for the times I had to fight other Wingbolts since they'll take next to no damage. A Drayk, on the other hand, can be squished in one or two Wingbolt attacks. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Who do you need to know? Iffy, ****ting on the boards and disguising it as a story is bad. The reason the last thread got spammed was because we had to make it presentable. Edit: damn autocensor. As well as the various poems I read pretty much everyday, I also just re-read "Firestarter" by Steven King. I read it a while ago, but I'd forgotten how good it was. Definitely one of King's most underappreciated works. Also, I've fallen in love with Edward Monkton and "The Penguin of Death", which you should all read. -------------------- Nikki's Nook - La maison de mon rêve? Well, as I said in the PM I sent, I will be buying a CD with the pretty case and so on. :) Oh, and the poem is coming along... It isn't finished yet, but here is what I have got. The last line will go right at the very end... Tomorrow Clock hands creeping spiral slow Corkscrew like a jester’s show, And with measured tolling chime Mark away the passing time. Just wait; you’ll understand. Watch the dial, duly dour, Searching for a thirteenth hour, Yet each time ‘round it never finds, As if in chains, the clockwork binds. Please wait: you’ll understand… ... (the sky is on fire and the world is glowing and im so sorry that i hurt you...)
