Well, since muffins are renowned throughout the world for their intelligence, this must be a truly impressive statement.

This is Andrew talking, not Infernal Flamming Muffin.
Iffy isn't even in school. I am.

And I mean a grade higher math than my grade in school.

Edit -and regular muffins are usually stupid.

Oh no...
It is quite clear from the CoC that we don't like two people on one account, even if they occupy the same body!

Oh, i think that is not the case here, and you shouldn't judge to hastily. I just think that our fluffy little muffin just has an imaginaly fliend.
And he goes to school too. I bet when he gjows up he's gonna be a fileman ol a doctol.

Actually, the CoC says it's okay to have an army behind an account as long as you accept that you'll be treated as one and only one person. I highly recommend bifurcation, though, or you'll just cause confusion.

—Alorael, who thinks talk of being smart is cheap and actions speak louder than words. Besides, for those whose IQs are well below the Spiderweb average all the talk of brilliance is just hurtful.

For the record, I was just teasing, not actually insulting Iffy. But with all the talk of intelligence, this thread is getting dumb fast.

Oh the irony!

But seriously. I couldn't agree with you more. I didn't intent to insult anyone either, I just find it so amusing when someone says they're smart and I just can't resist!
Actually here in Slovenija we have a saying that I sadly don't know it's equivalent in English, but it goes somewhat like "Good merchandise flatters (or something like this) itself."

Edit: To the only officially intelligent person here (he has a Ph.D. :) ): I was trying to sound like a child.

Dear Anarchist, I think there is more than one person here with a PhD.

I believe he was referring to the good Dr. Faust. But what kind of doctorate did Faust actually have? Was it medicine, or canon law, or something? I forget.

The good doctors of this forum should be making Faustian bargains to get the recognition they deserve right about now.

—Alorael, who at least thinks some of them should be doing that. Others have already turned to evil long ago.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm about as good a Dr. as Scyld Scæfing was a gode cyning. :P

What's wrong with the words you see?

—Alorael, who wants to know where the quote of his is from. It's devoid of context and he can't find it with the board search or Google.

There is something wrong there.

Also, you keep commenting on how "he's not that bad" or something like that. So I put it is a quote.

There is nothing wrong there. That's a perfectly respectable letter æsc (or ash, if you prefer) from Old English. It's also a legitimate combination of A and E from Latin, British English, and other languages, but that's not how I'm using it.

—Alorael, who would like to be shown where he said those very words or have them removed from your signature. He's not comfortable being directly quoted when he in fact wrote no such thing.

Philosophy, jurisprudence, medicine, and even, alas, theology, if we are to believe Goethe:

quote:
Faust. I've studied now Philosophy
And Jurisprudence, Medicine,
And even, alas! Theology
All through and through with ardour keen!
Here now I stand, poor fool, and see
I'm just as wise as formerly.
Am called a Master, even Doctor too,
And now I've nearly ten years through
Pulled my students by their noses to and fro
And up and down, across, about,
And see there's nothing we can know!
That all but burns my heart right out.
