I'm interested in how much does your music rely on those samples in GarageBand (or whatever).

I don't know about Europe, but here in the U.S. most banks and credit unions will give you a check card to go with your checking account. It functions as both debit and credit card, but when used as a credit card it still just deducts the amount from your checking. If you have a bank account, you could check and see if your bank offers this.

I played around with Apple loops quite a bit.

Um, credit card doesn't work, because I don't have anything set up with Paypal or anything like that. Sorry.

You do know that not all credit cards have annual fees. And most of them offer 0% interest rate until you pay off the amount. I barely get charged any interest at all, and I have several credit cards.

They're two different things - you don't need to use credit cards for paying with Paypal.

You might look into the PayPal option - the account is free, and there's only something like a 3% fee on all payments received (which you can add to the price. :P ).

I only need a debit, not a credit. Why credit cards, anyways? Aside from Ebay, etc.

Umm, you don't need a credit card for ebay either, debit works fine.
Also, the reason to have a credit card is to establish a good credit history, so that you can get good rates when you need a loan.

Yeah me too. I was wondering if you used only the Apple loops that come standard with the program, or did you buy an extra set of loops (jam pack)? If so, which one? Is it any good?

I have been wanting the symphony orchestra, but it costs $100... A bit much, me thinks, for something I might not use that much.

Well, as I said in the PM I sent, I will be buying a CD with the pretty case and so on. :)

Oh, and the poem is coming along... It isn't finished yet, but here is what I have got. The last line will go right at the very end...

Tomorrow

Clock hands creeping spiral slow
Corkscrew like a jester’s show,
And with measured tolling chime
Mark away the passing time.
Just wait; you’ll understand.

Watch the dial, duly dour,
Searching for a thirteenth hour,
Yet each time ‘round it never finds,
As if in chains, the clockwork binds.
Please wait: you’ll understand…

...

(the sky is on fire and the world is glowing and im so sorry that i hurt you...)

Bought! :)

Paypal worked after all, and at the current $/? exchange rate I couldn't care less about shipping being almost as much as the CD itself. :P

Four of the CDs there are pre-album art and case, so if you get one of those let me know and I'll send you them

I have another piece up for download. It's an arrangement of the folk song Henry Martin.
