quote:Joy Division FTW. If you've not seen the film about Curtis yet, do it. It's magical. I'm not a New Order fan though. That whole scene just doesn't click. Oh, and OMG. I forgot to mention any Bob Dylan! -------------------- Nikki's Nook - bigger than Jesus? Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

Meh. I think that So Long... is the best one, just because it has so many nice touches. Mostly Harmless just tries too hard for my liking. And, between the radio series and the film, I'll take the radio series anytime. -------------------- Nikki's Nook - bigger than Jesus? Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

quote:Not rumours. Jeff Vogel himself has said that if it wasn't for the fact that Avernum 4 sold so well, Spiderweb Software may not still be around. I can't find the thread he said it in now, but it was said on these boards. Avernum 4 isn't as good as say, Avernum 2, in my opinion, but it does it's job very well. It was never about the great plot - it was all about kicking off the second trilogy. I don't think Avernum 1 had a great plot either. It was all about setting up the player in a new location, and starting the trilogy off. And, now I feel dirty for writing a post longer than a line. -------------------- Nikki's Nook - bigger than Jesus? Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

Over here, pizzas tend to be 8",10" or 12". You can get upto 16", but they are the exceptions to the rule. I can eat a 12" on my own if I've not had anything to eat that day, but I then don't eat for a month. -------------------- Nikki's Nook - bigger than Jesus? Hey again, Nico. :) 1. If circumstances allowed for you to meet a fellow Spiderwebber who would you choose to meet? Nicothodes, Lazarus, TM. 2. What do you consider as the magnum opus of these boards? RiB. Or TM. 3. Does the recent increase in spam content irk you? Meh. Spam happens. 4. What is the last Spiderweb game or BoA/BoE scenario you have completed. Game: Completed? Avernum 4. Played? Geneforge 1. Scenario: Completed? Discord. Played? TNS (Thralni's thing). 5. Explain why you choose to participate in these boards. Mainly because I get on with several members, but also for the Blades community. 6. Are you a regular poster at a satellite forum of SW? If so post the name(s) of it/them. Shadow Vale. 7. Of all current members, who do you think deserves to be a moderator. (Answer should not be a current moderator) Nobody. Not even Salmon (sorry). 8. For simple consensus: what is your current country/nation/territory of residence? What is your native tongue? England, English English. -------------------- Nikki's Nook - bigger than Jesus? I wasn't sure before, but this thread is proof that people are definitely getting stupider. 1) I did (and still do) know what this thread is. And my deliberatly getting the two pictures Alec posted mixed up was just that: deliberate. It was an attempt at extracting humour from a situation. 2) At Annoyed: shut up. We *know* the correct phrase, which is why "batted eyelids" is funny in th first place. 3) [ Wednesday, November 21, 2007 01:26: Message edited by: Funkadelic ] -------------------- Nikki's Nook - bigger than Jesus? Gah. I was going to make a joke about the girl, and the position she took up upon cramming herself into the dryer. It involved Essex, too. Anyway. French people are hairy. Brits aren't. -------------------- Nikki's Nook - bigger than Jesus? Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |
