Sorry about my reaction. I just now discovered that during my spell check copying and pasting, the first two sentences were cut out. I just added them back to my first post under this topic. Thought I would let you know.

I wasn't referring to books on tape. I was referring to books. I do both, but right now I am more into reading books than listening to the stories.

Earlier I was listening to "The Lion King Soundtrack." Brings back memories. Sounds childish, but it is actually a very good soundtrack.

Now am listening to...

I am going through a Sherlock Holmes phase right now where I will only read Sherlock Holmes stories. I consider Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories to be classics and I enjoy them very much. I will eventually move onto some other type of books someday. But for now, I revolve only around Sherlock Holmes stories. I like mysteries in general, but not Fantasy stories nearly as much for some reason, despite my ability to create such things in RPs.

My lack of interest in fantasy stories explains why The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Matrix, and many of the other fantasy movies and books do not on my favorites lists anywhere. I'm just a stone-cold mystery person.

Do you smoke? in General

I smoke and I rather like it. I am allergic to dust and have a chronic cough from a weak immune system. When I was a baby, my one babysitter left me in the shade and I got pneumonia. It weakened my immune system considerably and causes me to get sick easily. To tell you the truth, my cousin Wandie got me started in smoking because I was curious and she had cigarettes. She actually forced it upon me because every time I visited, she made me smoke. No meant nothing to her when I said it. And I was hooked on them. I currently prefer Monarchs, but I have tried many different cigarettes.

I found an odd coincidence though. Oddly enough, despite my chronic cough, which I had before smoking and chronic illnesses, I haven't been sick once since I started smoking once or more a day. I only smoke Menthol 100s and I am not allergic to the smoke in any way. I find that I tend to feel better after having a cigarette and so I refuse to quit. My mom blames everything on my cigarettes, but I have found that some of them stink much less than others. In fact, some of them smell good to me.

Any questions?

OOC: Well, there goes the one way to get rid of her. I thought of another awesome way. This post is very, very long, but being the owner of the RP, I have to set the scene for the final part of the battle before the end of the RP.

IC: Celisto gets up off the ground and pulls Kel-Aziz to his feet. Then she takes notice of exactly where she is. The foolish Cryobeast had saved them, but had put them down on the ground right beneath the still lowering platform, which was only ten feet from being in it's original position. Oscevello obviously has no idea that they are currently under it or he would have stopped it. When Celisto and Kel-Aziz try to rush out from under the platform, they suddenly find that their feet are frozen in place by the ice forming in the room.

Celisto and Kel-Aziz realize their impending deaths and both try to come up with ways to escape this death trap. Kel-Aziz realizes that he is stuck in magic ice and decides that his wave blades are not the answer. He alerts Celisto to the fact that they are standing in magical ice and magic is their only answer for escape. Celisto gives him an annoyed look as if to say "Don't you think I know that?" She has already made the same observations and knows that fire magic is their only option. The platform is now at 8 feet from it's original position and is still coming down.

She realizes that telepathically speaking to Oscevello would be pointless, as it would take too long. She considers casting a groundfire spell, which coats the ground with liquid fire and can melt the ice quickly enough. There is a risk that it might catch the two of them on fire, but she decides to take it. Being burned is less severe than being crushed by the platform or falling on the liquid nitrogen-like ice and freezing solid and then being crushed by the plat-form.

As she casts the spell, the ground beneath them covers with a yellowish liquid and then sparks on fire magically. The ice instantly starts to melt and they are free within seconds, without any burns. They run quickly out from underneath the platform with no time to spare as the platform meets both their heights and keeps going down. As they emerge from underneath the platform, they can see the Cryobeast attacking Jesitonia on the ice shield with ice bolts, and her sending spells at the Cryobeast as well. As she is dodging the ice bolts and being hit by some, the frame of the portal in the platform slowly comes down around them, restricting their movement for a minute or two.

They then notice that Jesitonia is moving slower than normal and that some sort of green beam is enveloping her body. Celisto and Kel-Aziz turn around to see its origin and are surprised to see that it's coming from Galen the Wanderer. They both figure that he must have regained control of his mind and is now fighting back against his controller. Despite him having control of his own mind again, the room continues to get colder and colder. The ice in the room becomes liquid-like, freezing anything it touches to the ground in place like a statue, with some of it being thicker for some reason around the Cryobeast. The adventurers start standing on the seats to escape the liquid freeze below them. Even the candles on the shelves are extinguished by the freeze, and then pop from the sudden contracting of the wax.

With a loud mechanical and stone thud, the platform meets its target on the floor and locks into place, with the chains rattling slightly. Celisto finally sees Oscevello, but he is not looking at her. Instead, he is seated on the throne and isn't moving in any way except for his breathing. Celisto rushes past Jesitonia and the Cryobeast and up onto the platform to the throne, avoiding the liquid ice on the ground. As she stands in front of Oscevello, she can see that he is shivering slightly, but not from cold. But he doesn't seem to see Celisto. He is staring straight ahead at the seats in the shrine with eyes so piercing it almost seems that he is looking right through them. Each of his hands is on a lever, clutching them tightly.

Celisto calls Kel-Aziz to her and he makes his way over gingerly, dodging ice bolts along the way and liquid ice along the way. Celisto speaks to him with anguish in her voice.

Celisto: "What has happened to him?!!! Do you know?!!! I have an idea, but I wanted your verification."

Kel-Aziz takes off a glove and puts his hand on Oscevello's forehead. He instantly feels an evil power flowing into his hand and like a reflex pulls it away quickly. Kel-Aziz nods his head.

Kel-Aziz: "I think your suspicions are right. Jesitonia or some immense evil power has somehow gotten a hold of his mind and won't let him move or do anything. We have to break the link somehow. But how?"

Celisto looks around and then notices the chair seems to have an unnatural aurora around it. She noticed it before when Jesitonia was sitting in it as well, but it was a lot weaker.

Celisto: "It must be the chair!!!! I bet the altar has a direct link to the chair and the portal pit. That's why they were arranged one in front of the other. It's an evil "power tap" or battery as we called it in Delgotto's kingdom. He had the same type of thing in his evil shrine. When one of the objects is sanctified, the others receive its share of the power, making them stronger. The links to the portal pit and the altar have been severed, putting the full force of the power in the chair!! DEAR GOD!!!! We must get him out of this chair quick, before the evil power corrupts his mind and makes him one with Jesitonia!!!!"

Kel-Aziz: "But why did he sit down in it again? Didn't he realize the danger?"

Celisto: "I'm sure he did. He probably realized it when he first sat in it to stop the platform's ascent. The power wasn't strong enough then to take hold of his mind. He watched the portal pit intently as it was sealed up and sanctified while the Cryobeast was taking us to the ground, but didn't pay attention to where it dropped us. He must have realized where that was when he couldn't see us at all after bringing his attention back to the Cryobeast. He must have come back to the fully powered throne and sat down in it to try to stop the platform from lowering. That's why his hands are clutching the levers. The power hit him before he could throw them."

Kel-Aziz: "Well, let's get him out of the chair then."

Celisto and Kel-Aziz begin pulling at Oscevello to get him out of the chair, but he seems to be rooted to the spot. They succeed in getting his hands off of the levers, but both of them are thrown in the process. The entrance door to the shrine opens up again, the platform once again starts ascending towards the Cathedral, and panic sets in the faces of Celisto and Kel-Aziz.

OOC: My idea for a good ending since the portal pit is now gone would be to knock Jesitonia under the rising platform into the liquid nitrogen-like ice and freeze her to the ground. Then get Kel-Aziz, Celisto, and Oscevello away from the platform somehow.

After that, we could find some way to break the chains holding the platform up and bring it down on her. We need something different from that of the previous Zombie Attack RP and the Baltazar the Mad RP. I want this RP to go out with an excellent bang. It's almost finished.

OOC: Now for the alchemist. This post is going to be longer than normal. So, bear with me. This will help bring about the introduction of the witch.

IC: Schostas has been in the inn for a while with the jar in his pocket, drinking Mogen David wine and eating some egg drop soup, which he wasn't expecting the innkeeper to have on the menu. He then gets up when he is finished, quite a while after the earlier encounter outside. Everyone else in the inn meanwhile is preparing for tomorrow's duel. He then walks up to the bartender who is standing in the doorway to the storeroom and can see over his shoulder that Shadow Wolf is teaching the young girl how to use a sword and a crossbow. Schostas gives off a slight chuckle at this and then directs his attention back to the bartender. Having never actually learned his name, he continues to call him barkeep.

Schostas: "Barkeep, where is the alchemist currently? I need to speak with him about something...strange that has just occurred."

Bartender: "He should be upstairs with the summoned creatures. What has happened?"

Schostas: "I can't really say for sure. I don't want to start a panic, but I think we have not seen all the keen players for the duel yet. Someone had tried to take my life just a few hours ago. I need to see if the alchemist can help make sense of something for me."

The bartender just stares at Schostas as he pulls out the jar and heads for the stairs leading to the second floor of the inn. As he reaches them, he passes by Kris and he takes notice of the snake's head in the jar in Schostas's hands.

Kris: "Hold on a second, warrior! Can I see that object in the jar? It looks oddly familiar."

Schostas hands the jar to him. Kris's eyes grow wide with recognition and alarm. He looks up from the jar to Schostas.

Kris: "I recognize this snake. It is a type that King Gerald's wife has several of as pets. I never knew where she got them, but several of the kingdom officials have died in the past several months from mysterious snakebites. There happen to be very few snakes around these parts, and none of them are poisonous. I have also seen her milking them of some of their poison. For what purposes, I don't know, but that's not all. I have more than once seen her taking a trip to an old temple on the mountain just above us.

I don't know what she does there, but every time she would come back, she would say nothing about it to anyone as if she had never gone at all. I find it suspicious, but unfortunately, I can find little to no connection to this snake other than that it looks like one of her pets. Where are you going now?"

Schostas: "I am going to go talk to the alchemist about this snake. It tried to bite me a while ago after I had smelled a brewing cauldron, heard distant chanting, and had seen smoke up on the mountain. Maybe she has taken another trip to the temple?"

Schostas leaves him with this thought and walks up the stairs to the room with all the creatures in it, but sees no sign of the alchemist. He asks the healer if he has seen the alchemist. The healer replies that he thought the alchemist was downstairs with everyone else. Schostas's eyes grow wide, though no one can see them under the hood anyway. He rushes out of the room once he senses that something is terribly wrong. The alchemist wouldn't just walk off without saying something to someone. He rushes downstairs and gets the attention of everyone in the room.

Schostas: "Has anyone in here seen the alchemist at all?!!! It is vital that I speak to him!!!"

Neris reenters the room and raises her voice slightly.

Neris: "Ya. He says dat he was goin' outside fo' a walk t' me a few minutes a'o."

Schostas: "Dear god!!!!"

With that, Schostas puts the jar in his pocket, grabs a torch and his black long sword, and rushes out the door in search of the alchemist. No sooner is he outside then he hears two blood-curdling screams coming from the direction of the back of the inn. A soldier comes running towards Schostas as he heads towards the back of the inn. The soldier is clearly frightened half to death and gives the appearance that he is dying. He begins talking in a quick-paced and slurred manor.

Soldier: "It's the a-a-alchemist, sir!!! (Gasp) Ugh!! He is b-being a-attacked by...s-s-several h-huge black s-serpents! Ack!!!! Ugh!!!! Help me!!! I-I was b-bitten by one!!! Ugh!!! PLEASE!!!! Ugh!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!"

In a terrifying fit of convulsions, the soldier collapses on the ground, writhing in complete agony. Then he gasps his last breath and is dead. Schostas curses to himself for being so helpless to help him. If an Indian Swamp Adder bit him, death came quickly within ten to twenty seconds after the bite, explaining his quick demise and fast-talking. There is unfortunately no anti-venom for this snake in these parts and nothing can be done for a victim except to make their death as comfortable as possible.

Schostas turns his attention back to trying to get to the alchemist again before its too late. Along the way, he sees another dead soldier, explaining the second scream he had heard. He hears yelling and swords hitting the ground. As he reaches the back of the inn, he is met with an awesome sight. The alchemist and three other soldiers are trying to fight off a virtual horde of Indian Swamp Adders. There must be at least 40 of them he thinks to himself as he looks at their black writhing bodies through the dim firelight being given off by a single torch in one of the soldier’s hands.

He casts a long light spell and is even more horrified than before by what he sees along the now illuminated battlefield. There must be at least seventy-five of these huge black snakes, and mixed in with them are asps, black mambas, and cobras. At the moment, Schostas can't think of a more deadly combination of snakes. Then something strikes him as odd. None of these snakes are native to this land; not a single one of them. On top of that, they are all five times larger than normal, making some of them as big as a boa constrictor and others as big as anacondas.

Then something else catches his eye. He sees what appears to be a giant snake, bigger than the others, with the head of a woman. The realization of what it is sets in quickly. He says the words to himself.

Schostas: "A naga!"

He then hears behind him the sound of a bunch of people approaching. It's the adventurers of the inn coming to his aid. Schostas hopes they will be able to help him save the alchemist before it is too late.

OOC: Let's see to it that the alchemist lives. We need his evaluation of the abnormal snakes and the naga. His view is very important. Sorry for the length once again. This is probably the best way to introduce the next key player. The witch.

OOC: By the way, the creatures that Celisto and Oscevello had summoned before levitating up to the platform were summoned for the purpose of helping to fight the undead, not for additional enemies. Just wanted to make that clear.

IC: Celisto and Oscevello see their chance to get to the controls at last, though they don't want it to be at the cost of the mighty warrior, Kel-Aziz. Celisto motions to Oscevello to head to the controls while she tries to save Kel-Aziz. Oscevello runs up to the throne and sits down, glancing at each of the levers, trying to decide which he should pull first. He decides to lower the platform first, which has almost reached the cathedral above. With one swift jerk of the lever, the platform halts and at the same time gives a nasty shake.

Meanwhile, before Oscevello has reached the throne, Celisto has run to the edge of the platform and is peering over. Below she can see that Kel-Aziz is hanging onto his wave blades and Jesitonia is hanging on to his cloaks. Below them is an ice shield over the pit created by the Cryobeast. Celisto knows if Kel-Aziz and Jesitonia both fall onto it, it will not hold both of their weights once they strike it. It is then that the platform comes to a halt and shakes violently. Kel-Aziz loses his grip and begins to fall. Celisto looks in horror as both he and Jesitonia start plummeting towards the thin ice shield.

Celisto has to think fast, casting a spell she has only ever used once, and not so well the first time. It takes only a moment to say the words, but every moment is valuable in saving Kel-Aziz. She directs her hands towards his receding body and blue web-like ropes shoot out from her hands. They wrap around Kel-Aziz while he is 3/4 of the way to the ice shield, stopping him just in time. However, the weight is too much for her, and it instantly causes Celisto to be thrown to the ground with her arms dangling over the edge.

The lives of Kel-Aziz and Jesitonia now lie in her hands as she struggles to hold on without being pulled over the edge with them. At the same time, Oscevello tries pulling the other lever, but with no result; it won't budge. The platform slowly starts lowering and Celisto realizes that something must be done quickly, or Kel-Aziz and Jesitonia will be pushed through the ice field and into the pit.

OOC: Let's take it from there. This RP is almost done.

OOC: Okay. I'll bite. However, I already said where Jesitonia was before.

IC: Celisto looks at Jesitonia with an evil smile as the altar is purified. Jesitonia can do nothing but stare in complete shock as her evil altar loses all of its power. But instead of giving up right then and there, her eyes fill up with fury once again and she chants some words. Celisto knows what they mean; Jesitonia is teleporting away. White light flashes and she disappears, only to reappear on her throne. She turns he attention to the levers. Pulling one of the levers, the entrance to the shrine closes, trapping everyone inside. She then pulls the other lever and the entire platform and level floor in front of it starts lifting off of the ground.

Oscevello: "Stop her!!! She's getting away!!!! She mustn’t get away!!!!"

Lynn and the Crimson guard run towards the platform, but it is already too high to reach. The people in the room can do nothing but stare at the rising platform. Jesitonia than chants something from the throne and the pit in the ground with the link to the underworld starts glowing a bright green and then red. Suddenly undead of all sorts start crawling out of it with a manic speed. Celisto and Oscevello realize that they will all die in this room unless they get to the platform and to the controls.

They both begin chanting and hordes of creatures appear around them, ranging from chitrachs and null bugs to ice lizards and basilisks to troglodytes and other creatures of all sorts. They then begin chanting again and soon start levitating off the ground. They rise into the air closer and closer to the still rising platform. They go right through the now dissipating red cloud and appear in front of Jesitonia on the platform. Jesitonia's initial reaction is shock once again. Her eyes glaze over with total fury and she sends a barrage of death bolts flying at the both of them.

They manage to jump out of the way just in time as the death bolts shatter the brickwork in the wall. Oscevello and Celisto have to find a way to get to the controls without being killed in the process and it will be no easy task. A hand appears on the edge of the platform behind Jesitonia. Oscevello and Celisto notice it, but continue to focus on their battle with Jesitonia so as not to alert her to danger behind her. As the hand lengthens into an arm and the arm gives way to another arm and then a head, they can see easily that it is Kel-Aziz. This is the break that they needed and they don't want to waste the chance, so they both send forth a virtual wall of spells at Jesitonia to keep her busy.

OOC: Ok. I wanted Kel-Aziz to be a part of this battle, and anyone else can join from different points of the platform if they like. Let's make this final battle go out with style.

The Little Shop of Horrors Soundtrack

For those of you that use Kazaa, I found another download engine that I think is even better. It's a lot like Kazaa lite, only better still. It's called Shareaza. It is excellent. You can do several searches at once and the searches are endless. The download speed is just as good as Kazaa's if not much better.

OOC: Time to make a post.

IC: The beginning of the night comes quietly, and not a sound can be heard from either brother’s camp. Schostas decides to go outside and read and enjoy the wonderful night, knowing tomorrow will be hell on earth. He is sitting on the ground, with his back against a boulder, reading his book. Every now and then, he thinks he can hear strange sounds coming from the mountain above him; sounds of chanting and witchcraft. He can also smell the faint odor of a brewing cauldron and burning wood and thinks he can see smoke billowing on the mountain as well. He recognizes those sounds, but keeps his discovery to himself for the moment. He decides that now is a good time to employ his sleeping trick. By candlelight, he appears to still be reading his book, while in reality, he is asleep, and getting his much needed rest.

It's a good thing that his hood hides his face, that way, everyone continues to think he is awake. He wakes suddenly though and grabs at the rock just above his head. Something has entered his magical field and has broken it, alarming him that something is above his head. He opens his eyes and pulls the object into view. It is an Indian Swamp Adder, whose venom is so toxic it induces death within 10 seconds. He has managed to grab it just behind the head, keeping it from biting him. There is no doubt in his mind that this was an assassination attempt on his life.

He knows this because Indian Swamp Adders are not native to this land. They are clearly found only on the other side of the world. When he stares into the piercing yellow eyes of the snake, it occurs to him that the snake has an unnatural aurora about it. He pulls it closer to his face and looks point blank into its eye. He can see the snake's eyes glow a weird color and then sees it open its mouth and jerk its body in an attempt to bite him. It only takes a second, but that is all he needs to pull a dagger from his cloak and slice off its head from its body.

The snake gives off a screeching noise and the body writhes around for a few seconds on the ground. Then it goes limp. The eyes give a blue flash and then go dark as blood starts oozing from the head and body. However, the blood is strange, being of a dark green color instead of a dark red. He takes a small jar from his pocket and puts the head inside, with some blood of the snake, sealing it tightly afterwards. Then he sticks it back in his pocket, grabs his book, and heads back inside the inn to find the alchemist.

OOC: This ought to make the RP a little more interesting.

Unfortunately, I grew out of video games. I am now 18 and will soon be turning 19. I never progressed beyond a N64 system. Until I get around to actually playing other Spidweb games other than the Exile Trilogy, all I ask for Christmas are blank videotapes, as I do a lot of taping from TV. I was hoping someone would buy me a ticket to the Christmas special that will be taking place in PA in December.

Angela Lansbury, Christopher Plummer, and some others will be making appearances. But if I know my family, no one will care enough to bother.

OOC: Time to note the damage.

IC: Schostas looked at the dead Titan in front of him and then around at his various summoned creatures. This is what he had observed.

Both of the remaining Hordlings had been crushed to a bloody pulp. They were caught off guard by a white light spell and were crushed by the Titan who retaliated on them.

Two of the three dryads were undamaged, but the third was on the brink of death, having been nearly crushed flat by the Titan. The Dryads had managed to blind the Titan several times with White light spells, enabling them to keep out of the Titans grasp time and time again. The severely injured dryad was put in the largest empty room upstairs with several other injured creatures, all receiving thorough care from the alchemists and healers about the inn. Even Schostas was doing his best to help in the healing.

The aranea were pummeling the Titan with magic, but to no avail. The Titan had emerged unscathed and eventually was able to fry two of the aranea to ash with fireball spells. Only one had survived, and it was mildly damaged. It was now in the room with the dryad recovering in a web put together magically by the Alchemists.

The Centaurs had been running circles around the Titan, striking it every now with their swords, but still doing little to no damage at all. The Titan had caught one of them off guard and knocked it to the ground, dealing it a good amount of damage in the process. The hurt Centaur was among the injured in the upstairs room.

The surviving Spectre had dealt the Titan sizeable damage with it's freezing touch, but too was caught off guard and mildly damaged. It was carried to a bed in the upstairs room to recover.

One of the Ice Lizards was killed and the other was severely damaged, but not before also doing plenty of damage with their icy breaths. The surviving Ice Lizard was taken to the room upstairs and placed on a bunch of straw in a corner.

Both basilisks were still undamaged and had done some decent damage to the Titan, having turned spots on the Titan to stone, though not much more than small spots. Nothing major on the Titan had been damaged.

The Drakes were both still alive, but both were mildly injured. They had both been pummeling the Titan with fiery breath and various fire spells, doing very little damage, and both were caught off guard by the dryad white light spells. The Titan had hit both of them with force walls. They were too big to be taken into the inn, so a makeshift medical tent was created outside the inn next to the only undamaged portion of wall.

The Dragonflies were both uninjured, having escaped the clutches of the Titan in the air and being too fast to be hit with flying magical projectiles. They had successfully stung the Titan several times, but did almost no damage to it at all.

Finally, the ogres were both alive yet, but both were mildly injured this time, having been struck by various spells flung at them by the Titan. They dealt the Titan tremendous amounts of damage, but the Titan had the ability to heal itself, and did so without so much as a hint of loss of energy. When the ogres were taken to the upstairs room, the room was found to be getting to full. The Centaur was moved to the makeshift tent outside with the Drake and ogres were given its two beds in the room, which were needed to fit the size of its body.

Schostas had been hitting the Titan with spells to distract it and had hit it with several flaming poisoned Chinese Throwing Stars. It took a while, but eventually the Titan began to respond to the poison after about fifteen minutes of fighting. The poison finally began to slow it down, and after it had nearly killed the one dryad, Shadow Wolf had his chance and had killed the Titan with one swift shot. Schostas then collected his Throwing Stars from the Titan's body after extinguishing them with magic and headed with the surviving undamaged creatures to the inn.

The dryads used their magic and restored several of the tables and chairs back to normal so they could sit down. The basilisks decided this time to stay in the warm inn, as did the uninjured Centaur and the Dragonflies. The bartender had food brought to them and this time they accepted it heartily and ate their fills. Schostas sat down at his usual table after patching up the holes in the walls with magic barriers. They would hold for now, but the walls had to be repaired eventually.

Everyone in the inn settled down for a while and awaited the next news of attack and the following day, when the duel would be held.

OOC: There, that should do it. :D

I will try to give a rough idea of what the shrine looks like. This is a complete OOC post. The shrine is evil and will give an awesome impression to all those who see it. It's size is overwhelming.

The entrance to the shrine is 27 feet tall and 25 feet wide. A mechanism from inside at the throne allows the door to be opened and closed at the pull of a lever. The door opens onto an amphitheater-like room, with many rows of seats extending down a decline to the center platform. On the center platform is an altar and a throne. The altar is made of oak, has been varnished, and stained a dark color. It is inlaid with brass and ivory. It looks like a relatively good altar, except for the blood staining it and knives adorning it.

The throne is made of gold and silver, inlaid with mother of pearl and ivory fittings. There are large red velvet cushions on the back and seat and a well-oiled lever on each side of the throne. The room itself is 80 feet wide and at least 75 feet from entrance to back wall. The decline of feet from the entrance to a level area just in front of the altar is about 30 feet. The level floor just in front of the altar at the base of the decline is as wide as the room and stretches for ten feet from the base of the decline to the steps in front of the altar platform. In the center of this level area is the pit, which is very deep and contains the portal to the netherworld.

The altar platform is raised two feet above the level floor and takes up approximately 20 feet itself from the flat floor edge to the back wall. The altar is directly in front of the pit and the throne is directly behind the altar, with its back against the back wall. The ceiling is 3 feet taller than the entrance door and stretches to the point where the decline becomes level. From there, it seems to disappear into the red and black swirling cloud that is directly over the altar and the throne. Along the wall, Celisto and Oscevello can see up past the fringes of the cloud and see that the ceiling above the cloud is actually that of the stained-glass windows and the ceiling of the cathedral, 90 feet above them.

The seats in the room are divided up into rows just like an amphitheater, with isles in between them. There are 4 individual sections of seats extending from the level floor to the entrance wall. There are 5 isles in all, with the main one down the dead center from the entrance. The pit can clearly be seen from the entrance, as it is at the end of the isle. Other odd things can be noted in the room. Where the floor becomes level, it is uneven, as though it is not the original. Chains dangle down out of the red and black cloud and are attached to the level part of the floor at regular intervals, giving the clear impression that this room can be lowered and raised at will. The level floor itself does not match the surrounding floor tiles and the seats are considerably older looking than the throne or the altar.

On either side of the altar and the throne on the platform and along the walls, are shelves and tables covered with hundreds pf red-jarred candles, all of them burning. Several now shattered after Jesitonia’s vocal display. Glass now covers much of the altar platform from the shattering stained-glass windows from the above cathedral.

I’ll leave the rest to imagination. I would add a picture, but it will take me hours to digitally draw it and I have no way of pasting it anyway. I hope this description is good enough.

OOC: Sorry for staying away for so long.

IC: Schostas and the summoned creatures had been talking for fifteen minutes and had come up with a decent plan. They realized that they might not survive the battle, but they were willing to sacrifice themselves to save the inn. Schostas leads them to the field where the Titan is and turning around to look back at the inn, Schostas notices someone on the roof. He can tell that it is Shadow Wolf. He halts the summoned creatures and tells them to wait by the inn for him. Schostas grabs a nearby ladder and climbs to the top of the inn.

Shadow Wolf puts his concentration on hold to speak with Schostas. Schostas explains to him that the summoned creatures are willing to put their lives on the line to distract the Titan. Shadow Wolf tells him that he needs a good precise shot to kill the Titan, and that the creatures would make a good diversion, as long as they don't get in the way. Schostas agrees and heads back to the ground. He tells the creatures the new addition to the plan and they all agree to it. Schostas goes back into the inn and gets his black long sword and his throwing stars and heads towards the battle scene.

OOC: Okay. If someone makes actions for my character or the summoned creatures, remember that Schostas has flaming poison for the Chinese throwing stars and try not to kill off my summoned creatures. That is for me to decide. I created them after all.

oh and look up Spybot on download.com to get rid of that popup problem.
I downloaded that spybot and it is quite nice. But as for getting rid of the ads, it is useless to try. I removed them and I had to reinstall Kazaa to get it working again. It has a self-destruct file in it that renders the software useless without the ads.

OOC: Sorry for the delay, but I was watching this RP die slowly.

IC: Celisto and Oscevello had plenty of troubles of their own to deal with. The undead had reached them both and they had little trouble hacking them to pieces. When they looked back up to where Jesitonia was, she was no longer there. They looked cautiously around the room, but could see nothing.

Oscevello: "Dear god!!!! She has gone invisible!!. I will cast a detect life spell! Quick!!! You can cast an infrared spell!!"

Celisto: "Ok!! Hit it!!!!"

They both cast their spell at the same time and find that Jesitonia is standing in the center of the room. Jesitonia senses she has been spotted and turns around. She lifts a long0nailed finger towards them again and an ear-piercing scream emanates from her mouth. Everyone within one hundred feet of her drops to the ground clutching his or her ears. Even Celisto and Oscevello can't hold out against it and they to drop to the ground covering their ears. Celisto, with her head continuing to quake from the sound gets up and pulls Oscevello with her.

Oscevello continues to cower from the sound, but obeys Celisto's motion to get up. She removes her hands from her ears and winces painfully at the noise. Then she chants a few words and her eyes begin glowing red. Her ears go silent and the sound goes away. She concentrates on Jesitonia, who has a slight look of surprise on her face from seeing the sudden lack of effect on Celisto. Jesitonia counters by increasing the loudness and pain of her scream. Causing Oscevello to fall on the ground and writhe in agony. Everyone else nearby is doing the same thing.

Much to the surprise of some people, Jesitonia's minions start cowering from the sound as well. The sound becomes so intense that the glass jars the candles are sitting in begin to shatter one by one and the glass in the ceiling of the cathedral begins doing the same. Jesitonia's eyes begin glowing fiery orange as she increases the intensity even more t try to bring Celisto to her knees. Celisto however has mentally blocks the sound out and begins to prepare a spell. She begins waving her hands in a circular motion in front of herself and then screams out some words.

Celisto: "DESTALY EL FEMIGO DE TORMENTE!!!!!"

A strong wind materializes from Celisto's still circling hands and heads towards Jesitonia. Even in infrared, Celisto can see the utter horror on Jesitonia's face as she is picked up by the wind and thrown into a wall, causing her screaming to stop and the writhing of everyone nearby to finally cease. Jesitonia’s body reappears lying on the floor. But soon she gets back up, eyes blazing more brightly than before and a look of extreme fierceness on her face. Jesitonia decides to prepare a spell of her own and begins doing the motions.

OOC: If this RP is going to end, I suggest we make it go out with style. Maybe we can find a way to knock Jesitonia into the pit in front of her throne. There is a link to the underworld there and pushing her through it ought to break the link and send her to hell, disposing of the evil cloak as well.

I watched something on the History Channel last night that said that the fatal shot was fired from a ground angle, or in other words, the street and not in the back of his head like so many people believe. It is common knowledge that a bullet will make a small entry wound and if it exits, the exit wound will be much larger. There was an entry wound in the right temporal of his head, and a large exit wound in the back of his head.

The wound was shown to be at such an angle that it could only be made from ground level. And it is found that it was actually possible. There was a storm drain along the street that made the perfect vantage point for the fatal shot and is proved to very likely be the spot where the fatal shot was fired. The shooter could have escaped completely unnoticed through the drain pipe which led to the river.

On top of that, it is believed that there was in fact a conspiracy, and the conspiracy could have been the result of a secret group called Freedom something or other, I can't remember. The group was started by John Kennedy and his brother Robert to plan the assassination of Fidel Castro.

That's all I know.

OOC: Now this is a challenge I find to be a bit much, but I think Schostas would like it.

IC: Schostas sat back down at his table in the corner, stunned at what he just saw. He had of course heard of Titans, but he never thought he'd see one. Now that the creature is outside, he has time to think. He rushes up to his room and heads towards a trunk. He unlocks it with a key in his pocket and pulls out a bottle with a black liquid in it. He grabs another bottle with a murky brown liquid in it and then a third, with a green liquid in it. He sets them aside and then pulls out a mortar and pestle. Then a medium sized wooden bowl and a pouch filled with some odd dried plant leaves.

He shuts the chest, grabs each item, and heads back downstairs. He sits down at his table and sets everything in front of him. He puts a handful of the odd leaves in the mortar and grinds them to powder with the pestle. Then he puts the powder in the bowl, and with a wooden spoon, adds precisely measured out amounts of each bottled liquid he has with him. As he adds a little of the murky brown liquid, a strange smell fills the air. It smells a lot like ginger and isn't very repulsive. When he opens the next bottle filled with the green liquid, however, the smell is pungent and nauseating. It smells a lot like that of stagnant water in a swamp and anyone nearby quickly walks away.

He carefully measures out some of the liquid with the spoon, and adds it to the other liquid and the powder in the bowl. At first, nothing appears to be happening, but soon the mixture flashes a bright orange color and begins bubbling slightly. Schostas picks up the third bottle and pulls out the cork. The black liquid doesn't seem to give off much of a scent, but the vapor from it causes his eyes to begin watering. After measuring out a certain amount of the liquid, he adds it to the mixture in the bowl and on contact, it causes the other liquid to give off a small amount of smoke or mist.

People nearby think the table is on fire and yell for water, but he gets up quickly and waves them away. The concoction continues to smoke and bubble as he begins mixing the solution together with the spoon. It flashes various colors during the mixing and soon becomes viscous like tar. Then he pulls out all of his Chinese Throwing Stars and sets them on the table. He begins to carefully coat each one with the goo and then sets them in place on his belt. When he finishes, there is still some goo left over, but he just gets an empty bottle from the bartender and dumps it in.

Someone asks him what the goo is for and Schostas grabs a bow and arrow from a table that is still standing. He dips the arrow point in the goo and then holds the arrow up to a torch. It ignites instantly and glows a bright red color. He then sits back down and gives everyone an explanation.

Schostas: "Well, to put it all in Layman's terms, it is a recipe I learned from the Queen herself. She called it a Poisonous Flaming Projectile recipe. The goo, once lit, cannot be extinguished with water, only by magic, but eventually will burn itself out. The goo has a deadly poison in it that spreads through heated contacted, hence the flame. The poison spreads quickly through the blood, attacks the brain and nervous system of the creature hit, and will kill it in a matter of about five minutes. In this case, the Titan would be that creature.

Unfortunately, because the Titan is magically protected, it will take a lot longer for the poison to affect it. The flame from the burning goo can catch an enemy on fire. But since this Titan is magically protected, we would need to douse it with some sort of flammable liquid, and I have very limited amounts of this flaming poison."

He looks at the bartender.

Schostas: "How much liquor do you have?"

Bartender: "I have barrels of it."

Schostas: "They will have to do. They will make a decent enough flammable liquid. Now the problem is administering it to the Titan. BAH!!! It wouldn't really matter anyway. According to legend, Titans are almost immune to fire, poison resistant, vulnerable to cold, and magic resistant. What can we possibly do?"

Schostas starts pacing back and forth in the now ravaged inn. He looks around and sees the various summoned creatures still lurking about. Then it hits him. Get the summoned creatures to help in the battle with the Titan. There were more than enough of them to provide a good amount of aid to the inn, so he gathered them all together outside the inn by the fire that the Centaurs, basilisks, ice lizards, and drakes were still sitting in front of. Soon all the creatures were gathered around the fire.

Somehow, both of the dragonflies were still alive and were now fully healed again, the three dryads were now fully recovered from their exhausting ordeal with the Dark Wyrm, the ogre mages were hungry for action, the spectre was also groaning for action, the aranea were eager to finally get to do something else, and the hordlings were more than ready to fight.

OOC: I will continue their plan in another post sometime soon.

I was listening to...

Love Is Here To Stay - Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong
A Different Kind of Love Song - Cher

Now I am listening to...

That's the Way It Is - Celine Dion

I will be listening to some Alison Krauss.

What happened to the good singers and groups? I don't have any idea who half of the ones already listed by other people even are.

And I find nothing wrong with my current version of Kazaa. Aside from the occasional pop-ups, there is nothing wrong with. If you ask me, Kazaa lite is crap and when I took one look at the settings on it, I abandoned it right away. But then again, I just looked at it, didn't really try it out. So, I think I will give it a good decent try.

OOC: Is it just me, or is this RP going to crap? I will try to make it more interesting, as it is getting very boring to me.

IC: Oscevello whispers something to Celisto and she nods her head. She goes and stands directly in front of him with her back against his chest. They both put up their arms and cast a death bolt spell at the same time. The death bolt strikes Jesitonia and she literally explodes in a flurry of flame and blood. A loud menacing laugh can be heard deep inside the main shrine. The laugh of an evil woman. They realize that they just killed a drone. A mimic, or in other words, a copy of the original.

Flashes of light once again start appearing from inside the shrine, but the mist keeps everyone from seeing what they are coming from or their source. Suddenly, more creatures start appearing from within the mist and soon enter the fight scene. It is rather hard for Celisto and Oscevello to believe what they are seeing. Several huge creatures loom out of the mist. The ceiling in the room is at least 30 feet high, and the creatures are almost that tall.

It takes them a few seconds to understand what it is that they are seeing. Then it hits them. The creatures are nether dragons and there are four of them. The nether dragons are at least 25 feet tall, jet black with orange glowing eyes, and claws each at least a foot long. They are a very foreboding sight and many of the nearby soldiers run for dear life when they see them. Celisto and Oscevello realize that they can't do anything from this room to fight Jesitonia. They must somehow get into the room.

It's then hits Celisto. She has her invisibility charm. She whispers it to Oscevello and he agrees that it might be their only ticket inside the shrine alive. Celisto grabs a hold of it and grabs a hold of Oscevello's hand. She chants the necessary words and they both fade out of sight. They make their way around all of the demons and other hellish creatures.

They carefully squeeze along the wall past the nether dragons and into the main shrine, still not being able to see much, they make their way towards the candles and soon see a throne and a woman sitting upon it apparently in a trance. They are more amazed by the spectacle taking place before their eyes though. There is a deep pit in front of her with a green glow emanating from it and all sorts of nether creatures constantly crawling out of it. Oscevello recognizes it for what it is. A portal to the underworld, and unless closed, it will spew out an endless number of nether creatures and undead.

The flashes are coming from dense black clouds 30 feet over Jesitonia, where the red mist is also apparently coming from as well. Celisto and Oscevello begin to approach Jesitonia from the side, when she suddenly stands up. He eyes are still closed, as she seems to look around the room, sensing a presence close to her. Suddenly, her eyes shoot open as her head is turned in the direction of Celisto and Oscevello. Her eyes are a bright, bright red color and look horrifically evil. She continues staring in their direction as she points a finger at them.

Jesitonia: "I SENSE INTRUDERS!!!! UNDEAD ATTACK!!!!!"

With that, the undead creatures coming out of the pit head in their direction, leaving Celisto and Oscevello no choice but to fight back. Then each grab one of their weapons from their backs and letting go of the crystal, they both reappear, poised to attack the advancing undead.

OOC: I can't do the summary. Firedrake is better at that than me.

I have my reasons for this post. I have my settings much different. I turned off my feature that sends notices to my email address. I did that because I have several email addresses and it is annoying to have to look through all of them. I have three email addresses with Yahoo, one with Netscape, and one with pa.net. I prefer to check Spidweb for any messages I get. I get rather annoyed when someone chooses to send me an email instead, and also get annoyed by all the email notices that come with the feature.

I prefer messages on the boards. I mean, that is what they are for after all. My email is strictly for business and correspondence with people and programs on the Internet that have nothing to do with Spidweb. Just thought I would let you know how I stand on the issue. At least I can delete two of the messages taking up space in my profile. Thanks Tommy, for clearing up how you handle you messages for me.

I was going to wait a while for my messages to be read, but too much time has lapsed. Now the following people can just delete their messages. Go ahead and read them, but they were written quite a while ago when I was angry or answering a message sent to me.

For Pete’s sake people!!!! Don't you expect answer any answers to the comments you send? Always expect that. Your private message boxes fill up with messages and you don't even bother to check. I check once a day or every other day, despite the fact I rarely receive any messages.

For now on, if someone sends me a comment or just a message, anticipate a possible reply. I often send comments back.

These people need to read their messages and delete them because I am tired of seeing them go unanswered or read for that matter.

Tommy (you have 2 messages)

Firedrake (I assume you never read it even though I deleted it from my list, I was rather angry when I wrote it.)

TraciHedlund (you have 2 messages)

Zephyr (you have 1 message)

Please read and delete these messages so I can move on.
