I was going to wait a while for my messages to be read, but too much time has lapsed. Now the following people can just delete their messages. Go ahead and read them, but they were written quite a while ago when I was angry or answering a message sent to me. For Pete’s sake people!!!! Don't you expect answer any answers to the comments you send? Always expect that. Your private message boxes fill up with messages and you don't even bother to check. I check once a day or every other day, despite the fact I rarely receive any messages. For now on, if someone sends me a comment or just a message, anticipate a possible reply. I often send comments back. These people need to read their messages and delete them because I am tired of seeing them go unanswered or read for that matter. Tommy (you have 2 messages) Firedrake (I assume you never read it even though I deleted it from my list, I was rather angry when I wrote it.) TraciHedlund (you have 2 messages) Zephyr (you have 1 message) Please read and delete these messages so I can move on. I almost never read my private messages. I suppose a lot of other people are the same way. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

I sometimes read them in my email, decide not to bother responding, and never read the message on Spiderweb. There's no way to see that I have read, but I have. —Alorael, who often actually hasn't. A good number of Spiderweb emails are unfortunate casualties in his ceaseless losing war against the spam filling his inbox. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

You can delete sent PMs from your end, if you want. I'm not sure if the recipient still has a copy, though. -------------------- Grammar wenches beware: This is the house that the malt that the rat that the cat that the dog that the cow that the maiden that the man that the priest that the cock that the farmer kept waked married kissed milked tossed worried killed ate lay in. Uh, MSW? I don't think you realize it, but I sorta read them off of my e-mail, thus the reason why they seemed like they were never opened. That WAS a long time ago, but yeah, I sorta read them over there instead of here. Sorry if that caused any incovienience. -------------------- "Friendship is two things: Trust, and sharing. Isn't it possible to configure your forum settings so that you cannot receive private messages? Ooh. Thanks for the tip, Radiant. *turns off private messaging* Maybe now people who PM me will get the hint and send emails instead. -------------------- I believe there are 15 747 724 136 275 002 577 105 653 961 181 555 468 044 717 914 527 116 709 366 231 425 076 185 631 031 296 protons in the universe, and the same number of electrons. -- Sir Arthur Eddington Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I've gotten about 37 PMs in total, 20 were from Scorp, and only had a single word or the banana in them. The others have been mainly from OM, SAPHER and some jerk newbies who decided to thank me with PMs because I helped them solve the Agate Tower. Yeah. Meh, I change my profile so often that I always notice the PMs I'm being sent. -------------------- - The Great Mister Posts: 972 | Registered: Tuesday, October 28 2003 08:00 |

I have my reasons for this post. I have my settings much different. I turned off my feature that sends notices to my email address. I did that because I have several email addresses and it is annoying to have to look through all of them. I have three email addresses with Yahoo, one with Netscape, and one with pa.net. I prefer to check Spidweb for any messages I get. I get rather annoyed when someone chooses to send me an email instead, and also get annoyed by all the email notices that come with the feature. I prefer messages on the boards. I mean, that is what they are for after all. My email is strictly for business and correspondence with people and programs on the Internet that have nothing to do with Spidweb. Just thought I would let you know how I stand on the issue. At least I can delete two of the messages taking up space in my profile. Thanks Tommy, for clearing up how you handle you messages for me. -------------------- Mrs. Peacock: "Everything all right?"
