quote:Actually, if you play wisely you can manage to create a city that can get by with zero taxes. However, this will only work for small cities. If you get to large paying for the various city services can become a pain. They might not like the Waste Disposal Plant, but it lowers their taxes. -------------------- Lt. Terror and Spray Acid both have useful applications for low level characters. From what I understand Force Cage is useless at its current level. Perhaps if it was able to be learned at an earlier level. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Perhaps he is picking his moments instead of wasting time posting useless things. Post count doesn't always imply something about member status. Besides, by your logic I should have at least 1000 more posts. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Couldn't find it on the site Thuryl. However, I think Duel of Fates would work nicely as background music for Exile II. Timing might be a bit off but it is still very nice. I suppose listening to Britney Spears while playing Exile III dampened my opinion of the game. -------------------- Lt. The Claim was also worked on by two people, TM and me. Although, in this case the work wasn't split 50-50. It was still mostly my scenario. However in my opinion, the work that TM did was much better than most of what I put into it. It's not out yet; but if TM has his way it'll be released very soon. I don't expect it to make it onto the solid adventures table. [ Friday, April 18, 2003 15:56: Message edited by: Lt. Sullust ] -------------------- Lt. I tried this twice, in both cases the dervish defeated all the nephilim. Just for purposes I performed mine in a 7x7 area with a 9x9 wall surrounding. The dervish was placed on one side, the nephilim were on the other. How did you have your test set up? -------------------- Lt. The answer doesn't do us much good since we still don't have the question. Obviously nine multiplied by six does not give forty-two as the answer. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Sullust grabs GtGD and drags him in to collect the bounty. Unfortunately he is unprepared when GtGD shifts back into bat form. Sullust is unable to catch the beast; after thoroughly tiring himself he walks back to his seat. The bat transforms back and the new form snickers at Sullust. -------------------- Lt. Sliths require pools of water in order to breed. Therefore most of their towns are located near water. However, at the same time these towns must be in a relatively warm location; the sliths themselves are cold-blooded. -------------------- Lt. Sullust enters the inn a bit dazed. It has been quite a while since he has been in the place; he doesn't remember it being this busy before. He is quickly forced out of the way by people shifting boxes around. Sullust manages to find an empty corner in the table and sits down. -------------------- Lt. Sullust plays a short game with Wiseman, they both choose to be random. Sullust ends up with the Undead; Wiseman takes control of the elves. A few moments into the game Sullust leveled up his dreadlord and decided to take it into Wiseman's main camp. He dispatches a few groups of undead to distract Wiseman at his expansions. Then manages to slip into the main camp. Though Sullust expected Minimal defenses, there was nothing there other than the buildings and a few wisps. He immediately walked into the center and summoned an Infernal. That's when it all went downhill. About 20 archers came out of their hide positions and demolished the thing in a few seconds. Then came the chimaeras. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

OOC: Undead are subject to spells such as Turn Undead and Repel Spirit. While you are correct that undead are already dead, they can be eliminated. Why do you insist on having an 'invincible' character? IC: After eating a few burgers Sullust gets back on the main portion of the bus. He opens his copy of The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide and continues reading. [ Friday, February 28, 2003 12:46: Message edited by: Lt. Sullust ] -------------------- Lt. Sullust finally wakes up from his long nap. He looks out the window to see the two fighting. Sullust then decides to join Wiseman on the roof of the bus. Wiseman: Not very exciting is it? Sullust: Somehow these god battles always get worse than the previous fights. This one could use a bit more excitement. Wiseman: I agree. Sullust pulls out a small wand and Wiseman grins in delight. A small piece of paper is attached to the wand. It reads: USE ONLY IN EMERGENCY. Sullust: Now seems like a good time. Sullust aims the wand between the two and a small child appears. It is Susie. Wiseman: This could get ugly. The child proceeds to pull out a small wand of her own. She shouts BOOM and suddenly both fighters are thrown back in a massive shockwave of magic. She then proceeds to smack them upside the face. Susie: Momma says it's not nice to play unfairly. The child then disappears. Sullust: Hey Wiseman, where'd you get that burger? -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Sullust sits looking out of the window when suddenly a meat stick slaps him in the face. He notices the thing has traced a long slimy trail from Lethalis's window. In a few moments he finally builds up the nerve to walk up the aisle to the beast. Sullust: I believe this is yours. The creature's tongue wraps around Sullust's hand and takes the small stick. Sullust runs back to his seat. ADOS: I said NO running! -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

OOC: I believe you are confused. Mighty Paladin and ADOS are two different members. Or at least they were the last time I checked. IC: Sullust finally manages to push his bus all the way to the station. Sullust: Fill her up please. Attendant: I'm sorry sir, but we're all out of gas. Sullust: What?! Attendant: Some big bus came and needed to be fueled up. We emptied all our reserves filling that thing; It must have quite a large tank. Sullust: Where is the closest station. Attendant: It's about thirty miles away. Sullust walks up to the door of ADOS's Bus. It opens ADOS: Can I help you? Sullust: I need a ride. ADOS: Hop right on, there is room for everybody. Sullust: Alright, I'll get you ADOS. He attempts to start the bus. Sullust: What?! The explosion must have burnt up all of my gas. I've got quite a bit of pushing to do now. Sullust walks out of the bus and begins slowly pushing it towards the nearest gas station. OOC: Perhaps a bus race? -------------------- Lt. OOC: I'm just going to pretend that didn't happen. I'd also like to note that my bus will expand for as many people want to get on it. Even if none do, I'm still driving the little thing around. :P -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Sullust gets a small bus. Sullust: Hey any of you want on come now. ???: Where are you heading? Sullust: Wherever the road takes us. OOC: It is often better to let the players have more control ADOS. Note to anyone riding this bus, you may do anything to it. But if you break it we're going to have to push it to some gas station to fix it. -------------------- Lt. How about a poison spell, similar to those from the Exile series. Level 1=Minor Poison Level 2=Medium Poison Level 3=Major Poison In order to keep with the fairness of the spell it should probably be limited to one target. -------------------- Lt. I would like to see a mage skill where one could sacrifice an amount of HP in return for an amount of SP. I suppose the largest problem in this would be to determine how much HP should be removed from the user of the skill. If it took away a certain amount then the skill could also be abused by players who have 1 life and use the skill to generate a larger amount of spell points. As the player gained levels in the skill more and more points could be generated from the HP. -------------------- Lt.
