Yes, Happy Birthday, even if this is late. Congratz on being 12. However, I had some of the worst times being 12, so yeah.

Once again, Happy Birthday, Zephyr.

Yep, I, too, am a fantasy fan. However, I, on the other hand, hate Tolkien. I never did find any of his books interesting, and to say the least, I grew tired the first few chapters and quit.

The thing is, I'm the light humor fantasy type of guy. I like series like Redwall, Dealing with Dragons (and most of Patrica C. Wrede), The Prydian Chronicles (Lloyd Alexander; Main charater is Taran...), The Last Dragonlord, The Cat Who... series, and things like that. Yes, some of the books are very... well, cliche, but I don't mind. Also, a very different book would have to be I Am The Cheese, by Robert Cormier.

Classics... Actually, I enjoy many classics. I don't know if The Catcher in the Rye would be one, but its still very good. Shakespearian works are very enjoyable, and some things that can't come to my mind right now. Gee, I did finish reading a small play called A Streetcar Name Desire... I enjoyed it, but I don't know if it would be a classic.

Yes, call me an idiot if you must.

OOC: I could easily do the chopping up of the chains. However, I would only do that; it would be up to you to describe her demise.

IC: Lynn could not help but feel a tad bit angry at the Cyrobeast for creating a liquid ice floor. She stood on the chair, and waited for any command. There would be no way to get anywhere at the moment, and watching the Cyrobeast try to kill Jesitonia wasn't exactly the thing Lynn had in mind. She gripped her spear more tightly, the same one from the shrine above ground.

The storm outside had receeded to a quiet, dull strain of rain.

Ri'Kinsdal and his men grew tired of waiting outside. They flew over the wall and landed near the west side of the inn. One of the hawkmen bashed a small snake on the ground. Ri'Kinsdal knew there was never a snake on Serenity...

Rasil drew his bow once again, and shot it into the new crowd. However, the crowd of snakes were much smarter than the regular people, as the arrow thudded into the ground. The snakes literally made way for the arrow to hit nothing at all. "This is hopeless!" Rasil said, tossing his bow aside and binding his daggers to his wrists again.

He was about to charge, when a flurry of feathers appeared above him. It was almost annoying, but sure enough, feathers meant hawkmen again. But this time, the creatures were flying toward the snakes instead of at them... they were helping the force out!

"Retreat, Alchemist!" Someone screamed. The alchemist turned to run, and an adder found a chance. It lunged with all its speed and power toward the person...

Lynn had run to the platform, excited and scared at the same time. Her soldiers, almost decimated. She is the sole survivor of the Crimson Guard, and the undead were still pouring out an assault, even though weak. The only thing holding the assault to break through were the summoned creatures, and maybe 1 or 2 soldiers here and there.

The platform was still lowering, as the Cyrobeast charged for the struggling figures. Time would be the only factor here as Kel-Aziz and Jesitonia struggled without much hope, and Oscevello dangled helplessly near the edge.

Lynn turned away to not look at what would happen next as a thought crossed her mind. Where is Eirik?

OOC: Just trying to keep my character from being butted out. And still active.

Lynn gave a shout of victory as she continue to press her men onward. With only 3 Crimson Guard members alive (Including herself), and around 23 soldiers, they charged into the main shrine to find Jesitonia and whatever forces were left...

OOC: I may be confused here, but that's how I see where the forces are. Sorry for the short post, but I really can't do anything right now.

OOC: Tel, I hate to say it, but your the first person in this RP that has given a character other than your own a name. I don't know if you'll use those characters; however, I usually only give major characters names. Just a little tip.

IC:
Ri'Kinsdal looked out upon the inn. There was no dragon there... It had left, and there would be no dragon until he saw it. The hawkmen waited for orders. "Bring the flag!" barked Ri'Kinsdal, plotting a way to destroy that creature...

The dragon... my brother... His memory takes back to just this morning when his company was attacked, and his brother was eaten... literally bitten to pieces by a lizard with wings! He would get revenge, and that would be it. A white flag came protuding out of the hawkmen as they neared the inn. They fluttered down to the gate, and knocked. They waited outside...

Rasil had felt a strange sense as the night drew on. The camps on the other sides were full of activities, and he could see it visually, as men were running around with posts and canvas. The smell of roast duck wafted through the air, from Lance's side. Something was going on, and it didn't seem like it would be a bad thing.

Rasil padded to the counter and ordered some strong wiskey. He once again choked it down, with Aarrow standing right beside him.

A woman passed her fingers though a crystal ball, showing the faces of the leaders. "Yess... soon, the time will come..." She murmured softly.

OOC: Yes, the day is finally ending, and the last day is soon to come! I hope everyone was having a blast through this entire RP. However, I am wondering whether or not to perhaps get it done like Balthazar the mad... (You know, someone pieces all posts together and hand them out). Bah. I'll worry about that some other time.

Frantic warriors raced back and forth as Rasil was drawn into a cloud of confusion. Getting up slowly from his spot beside the wall, he noticed the summoned creatures trying to attack the titan. The defenders were hastily trying to keep the Inn intact from falling, as the Titan now drew its powers toward the little summoned nucances(sp?). Looking up, Rasil could see a something projecting from the roof...

The Titan gave another swing, creating a crator in the ground, with a couple of smashed hordlings, and a hurt drake. Once more, another swing, taking out some wall of the Inn this time, trying to attack the dryads and dragonflies fluttering about in the air. The Titan turned, its eye on one of the dryads, the dryad right in front of Shadow Wolf...

Ri'Kinsdal prepared the remaining Hawkmen, 15 in all including himself. They would get revenge, especially from the dragon and his rider. The last hawkman lifted into the air, weapon and wit ready. The sun stooped toward the west, as daylight was slowly leaving again.

OOC: I'm not letting this die. Simply put, I want to finish this.

Rasil couldn't do anything, until he saw the barrels. He walked over there, and asked one of the defenders near by what Schostas was doing. "He's going to douse the Titan in liquor, and then set him on fire! His nasty poison should work... I hope..." The voice trailed. Rasil brought out a canteen (Just "borrowed" from the nearby defender), and filled it up with all the liquor he could store. With that, he sat up against the wall, and took a swig. I don't see much else to do, now that I can't even touch such a creature... I'll watch Vincent... Vincent once again was buried underneath rubble. His human side was gone, and all that was in place was a demonic looking form.

Gerald was now even more infuriated. "HOW COULD MY WIFE DO THIS!?!" He screamed. Everyone in camp could have heard his voice and his senseless rants. "THAT WOMAN WILL PAY WITH HER LIFE TO TURNING MY PLANS AROUND!!!" Even Lance's camp could have heard his voice.

Lance walked outside of the tent. The Titan was one thing, but what about his forces? Sure enough, soldiers were appearing back at the camp, as the retreat was called. Lance didn't care for the soldiers at the moment; only for the 15 men in the air.

The hawkment landed with exhaustion and pain. Their escape was heavy paced, and all of their equipment were damaged. Lance tried to look for their commander, but he was nowhere in sight. "Where is your CO?" Lance asked with annoyance. "Sir..." One of the hawkmen got up quickly. He was the commander's brother, Ri'Kinsdal. "The CO... is dead... We lost him... when a man on a dragon... spotted us." His words came between heavy breaths. Tears could be seen in his eyes, as they continue to burn. "...We are the only ones left..."

Lance was more than dumbstruck. His best men, defeated, with only around 1/5 of his force left? The Titan roared outside, still showing destruction outside the inn.

One woman smiled in the darkness, somewhere within the mountains. She continued to look in the basin, watching the Titan continue the destruction of the inn.

Lynn brought her spear to her side and took a quick glance around the shrine. Her forces were getting decimated, and she knew it. The moral showed through like a dagger through cloth. The undead kept up their relentless attack, and more soldiers were falling. Lynn had no choise.

"Retreat into the Shrine!!" Lynn shouted above the din of battle and rain. Mud splattered about, as some soldiers took a head start for the comfort of the Shrine that it once had. But by then, nether dragons came out from the stormy mist, and dragged away the helpless soldiers that tried to seek cover quick. Lynn dogded the claw of one, and cut the claw off as it hit the muddy ground. "STOP!" She screamed, as the soldiers turned back. The whole group were now surrounded, and would have to make the last defence.

"Men," Lynn shouted as she scooted away from the undead, "This may be our last stand together, but that doesn't mean we'll go down easy!! Give the undead the hell they deserved from the start!!!" Her voice echoed across the pouring rain. The remaining soldiers gave cheers and fought on with renewed strengh, knowing to give the undead hell in a handbasket.

The lighting struck near the town, and the clouds grew darker than night.

OOC: The hawkmen are different, not only by appearance, but by skill, too. They are practically bonded together, so if you kill one, the others get much stronger (either with revenge, or through thought), and the hawkmen are few and far between. Trust me, when you only have 50 hawkmen to command and over a thousand soldiers, you know they are somewhat rare.

IC:
Rasil now had his mouth open at something else. A huge Titan had formed itself inside the inn. Then it struck him very dumbfoundedly. THE INN!!! ITS GONNA GET DESTROYED!!!! Rasil knew these things only from legends again, but he knew enough from the legend that Titans destroy anything in their way... even mountains.

He clambered down the battlements (The battle had receeded, and the two forces were now pulling back) and reached the floor when the Titan burst through the inn door, fractured splinters now. The door was missing, half of the tables inside were broken, the walls were literally torn apart. The inn looked as though it would not be able to support itself for long. The windows on the top floor were destroyed, and some of the floorboard from the second floor were practially upheaved. The Titan gave another roar, now out in the open field.

Rasil readied his daggers.

OOC: I dunno. I don't really like the idea of the Titan either, but since it happened, it happened. And jeezus, all 15 hawkmen, Tel!? God, so now they are down to just 15 left... GOD!!! (I rarely use emoticons... but I'm badly pissed. I just hope we can finish this RP before everything goes haywire.)

Lynn went into immediate action. "Quick, to the front ranks, NOW!" The soldiers responded by charging, and hacking off the limbs of the charging undead. With that, Lynn cried for her Guard, and they went into the fray. The largest unrecorded battle this town has seen is about to unfold.

OOC: DAMN, wasn't expecting the hawkmen to die that quickly! They are much harder than you guys think, but its a bit late now. I'll just have the remaining hawkmen flee.

IC:
Rasil watched with amazment as the Hawkmen were more than easily defeated by Aarrow Swift and Vincent. The remaining forces freed their captors from the magical rope, and helped each other to their feet. Vincent sent another wave acidic goo, but the company leaped off the ground by then. They were soon flapping away, afraid of any other demonic attributes Vincent had in his sleeves.

The battled coninued in the inn, but the defenders were getting closer to winning.

OOC: I can't remember for the life of me, how the heck Vincent became so godly powerful.

Nah, not really. Just have it on a different continent and have the strategy game from there... Oooo... what would make it a little more interesting is by adding Exile/Avernum with it. Now, TWO floors of strategic combat! =P

Rasil allowed the rest of the party to worry about the portal. He nocked another arrow into his bow, and aimed for one of the archers in the back row of Gerald's team. Before he could do that, he spotted something else in the sky...

In the air, Commander Ri'Durn, with his company of 50 hawkmen, were scouting the area for a safe place to land. Even great creatures like themselves needed a place to land, and inside the walls seemed decent. Especially since everybody was running back into the inn. The air unit proceeded flying closer towards the inn, oblivious of the combat beneath.

OOC: The air units are coming. Good luck to everyone that fights them, since they are practically bonded together. Good job, Aarrow with the portal. I had completely forgotten about it.

Lynn followed suit with everyone. She was as confused as the last person, as everything was quiet, while at the same time, thunder and rain kept roaring about. She stood in the crypt, awaiting for anyone else to move. The skeletons were destroyed; they were strangely too easy, and the place was darkening for unforseen reasons. The team was getting closer toward the main shrine; everyone could even feel the evil being emitted. Lynn still had no idea what was written on the piece of paper that made Celisto so worried...

OOC: I just had to make sure that Lynn was still alive and kicking. Yeah, so we're about to get to last area, right?

OOC: Remember, Lance said "if you want to try, just come to the duel". That would mean that anyone would be able to enter.

IC:
The two leaders finally left. Rasil closed the the door after them, and looked at everyone, giving a sigh of relief. "At first, I thought that they would duke it out right here..." Rasil heaved. There were some nods of agreement, figuring out how much devestation it would cause the inn. Finally, things were starting to go back to normal.

Lance called someone in. The person was almost disfigured in a way, for he had bird wings on his back. He wore heavy plated armor with a large hammer, spiked on the end sides and a decorative hilt to boot. His red tail moved sporatically, as though he was on caffine. Lance spoke at once. "Prepare your air units. Even though the duel is tomorrow, I still will use up anything to get that inn!" The strange man saluted and began to leave when Lance called one more time. He turned around and saw a tear in the leader's eye. "Don't lose all your men out there... I've already caused enough death for my squabble." Lance hastily wiped the tear and sent him off.

Gerald called on a full assult of the Inn. Again. So the war continued for another day...

OOC: Need to do something for this day other than spark up a duel.

OOC: Alright, alright. That is what happened during the meeting. People, sorry for this again, but what Aarrow posted is what happened during his meeting. Sorry for the inconvienience, but yeah. From now on, Posts go on as time, and you make a late post to try to make up for anything before, it will be IGNORED. Sorry, but these last RP parts are going to get hectic, and confusing everyone is something I'm planning not to do.

IC:
The new day shone brightly. Both armies were waiting for a response to their proposal to join with each other. So out went the messangers to agree on both sides...

Lance had reached the inn first. His colorful banners of victory were a sight alone to behold. The rest of him army cheered as Lance entered the inn, his head high and clear. The innkeeper came up to him, rather confused. "I thank you for finally giving up the inn to the Kingdom of Light," Lance began. Before the innkeeper could respond, Rasil bumped him over, and Aarrow caught the innkeeper to whisper what was happening. Rasil covered the whispers by talking to Lance. "Er, yeah, I know..." Rasil said, somewhat confused himself.

Gerald had just entered the door. His banners were somewhat discolored as he marched in, and so both leaders could be seen very well. Gerald had a hardened face, unshaven with dark brown hair that drooped. His armor was completely different from the normal troops; Almost shining like Mithril. His sword was huge, and was obviously double-handed. There was a grizzly scar on his right hand.

Lance looked very different. His blond lanky hair fell after going inches away from his head, and his face was clean, like that of a school child. His armor looked like his own soldiers, but his sword looked very different, even if it was only a longsword.

Gerald looked at Lance, and then at the innfolk, and bursted. "WHAT IS HE DOING HERE!?!?" He screamed. "I'm here because they agreed to give the inn up to me!" Lance said. "And yet you have the mocke-"

"I was given a message that said I would get the inn, so back off!" Gerald spat. Both brothers looked at each other with angst and hatred burning in their eyes. Then Lance had decided something that would end the war with one swift comment: "A duel. Tomorrow. Whoever dies, loses." Then he turned toward everyone else. "If anyone wants this land, then you come to the duel, and you fight me! And we'll see why I, Lance, should be the rightful ruler of ALL SERENITY!!" Lance looked at everyone.

Schostas heard everything.

OOC: Setting you up, Schostas. I just figured that since you were part of the Queen's soldiers, maybe you could join that very duel to regain the Queen's rule, but you would rule instead... or something like that. They are both still in there, so if you want to interact with them, you can. Yeah, I give control of the leaders back. And sorry if you pictured the leaders differently. And the reason for Lance's different look? The Queen had dirty blond hair. Lord Granst had black hair. Oh, and I don't know who sent the messangers.

OOC: Bah, I take control of the leaders now until I say so. Too many people are getting their feelings screwy. Lance is the sad, more responsible, older one! Gerald is young, and selfish. But Gerald is more fierce, as Lance is better at defence. He does not care for the "Witch" (or Queen Sophia, who will become a major character). I'm sorry to be taking such action, but Tel, your post on Gerald is now Ignored. I'm sorry to do such a thing, but it is not possible. And Schostas, they were interrupted by the innkeeper's note, so now the theory is not really needed. You may have to reread my post, since they evesdropped on what was written on the note. I'm heading the new day, NOW.

IC:
Aarrow had everyone sitting, but was at a loss of words. He had a plan on killing the dragon, but couldn't come out with the words to explain his anger, so without even uttering the reason to gathering everyone down in the cellars, he went upstairs to head off to bed. Rasil was rather confused, but decided it would be best to sleep it all off. Huge Wryms, undead monks, and a dragon to boot! My life is just getting crazy!

The lights at each side stood vibrant, but the lights dimmed in the inn. Things were slowing down as the full moon started its slow decent, shining down as a sign that soon, things will be over. The morning was coming.

OOC: Sorry Aarrow for not giving you a chance to explain your plan, but everyone is getting confused. So here is the 'Pagely Report!' (Page 7):

Situation:
--------------
Time: Aroun 3:00 AM.
Lancian wall side: Repairing still.
Geraldian wall side: Intact.
Inn: Quiet.
Cellars: Currently under control by the Inn.
Inn defenders: Depressed and bloodied.
Lance's side: Sitting quietly, preparing their Air units.
Gerald's side: Lost most of their plots.

NOTE: Both sides are exhausting their supplies in this huge battle, and they are running low on plots. Do not think they are infinately powerful. Plus, we've killed hundreds of soldiers already, and the Land of Serenity is only so large.

Heroes:
--------------
Rasil: Looking confused, heading to sleep.
Aarrow: Pissed. Heading off to sleep.
Schostas: (Currently N/A.) Heading off to sleep?
Shadow Wolf: (Currently N/A.) Heading off to sleep?
Vincent: (Currently N/A.) Heading off to sleep?
Tel: Is on his own, drinking away.
Sauron: Flew off somewhere...
Innkeeper (He deserves a spot): Tending to the inn.
Neris: Sleeping.
Kris: Stricken bad. Is with the Inn.
Lance: Crying, and plotting revenge.
Gerald: Angered. Badly.
Imban: MIA. (Missing in Action) ...Still.
Malakai: Been a regular defender.
Shadow: MIA. Still.

Conditions:
---------------
Victory
- One kingdom takes over the other.
- The inn is successfully defended.
- The inn takes a side.
- One of the two leaders (Gerald or Lance) is KIA.
- The Queen's Kingdom is restored. (New.)

Losing
- All characters die.
- The inn is completly demolished.
- Both kingdoms fall (It could happen.)
- The bartender dies.
- Neris dies.

Hope that helps and sorts out some things that has gone very haywire. And now to set down a couple of small rules here:

1. Tel, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to keep you from controlling any other characters other than your own. Your too green at the moment, and trying to control other characters like Gerald will just lead to disaster.
2. The RP will end in about (I'm predicting) 2 RP days. So just try to sit tight until it ends.
3. I'll let anyone here double post, if its needed. Other than that, edit the post you made.

That should be enough. Sorry if everyone is very confused at the moment.

And yes, someone else wake up to have the sun shining.

Rasil left the scene afterwards. It was, without a doubt, strange to see a dragon helping a human, or a dragon at all for that matter. They were heard only in legend, to the best of his knowledge, and every legend they were evil in. He quickened his pace back into the inn.

He was yanked down into the cellar by an unseen force, gasping for breath and trying to scream for help all the way. When he was finally let go, Rasil turned around quickly while drawing his dagger, and almost dug into Aarrow. He stopped before an injury could occur.

"Wha... Huh? Aarrow! Why did you go and practically strang-" He was cut short by Aarrow's hand being raised. Aarrow gave a short nod, and Vincent appeared with Shadow Wolf. Schostas was walking down the staircase down into the cellar. Aarrow had something important to say, and he wanted only his friends to hear it...

OOC: Hope thats good for you, Aarrow. You might be able to tell what you needed now.

I bow to you, my friend, in which you endure,
How you're still here, makes me wonder more.
You've been through a lot, for thats what I see,
I have been cruel and apologize for free.

This puny rhyme, I make to prove a point,
Don't stick things up that you don't create.
Sure, you can post up simple stories from games,
But creating things from yourself is not the same.

Your writing, it needs work, and everyone notices,
The grammer is bad, so the rhyme can't make focuses.
Your poems are broken, and seen in your eyes,
But it won't open up for everyone these times.
Your feeling lacks, as so does your speech,
I'm sorry to complain, but critics must screech.
A poem can be anything, to just simple words,
But the feeling is what counts, even in nerds.

Sure, I make poems to poke fun at me,
But these poems make you laugh and also grieve,
So even if these poems don't seem to rhyme,
The feeling is what counts, so your poems are just fine.

In fact, your most recent one is pretty good. Reminds me of when I was mad at everything due to shunning and such. Just needs a touch up of work.

Note: This poem took about 5-10 minutes at most. Booyah.

Motrax Got Me Too

And yes, Motrax, he got me too,
In more ways than one, that is certainly true.
Others died in only one way,
While I was taken down four times in say.

Without a clue, I would have to suffice,
Thinking that I wouldn't pay the price,
But sure enough he came silent and quick,
And summoned a host different picks.

As I posted up things, just as you see,
Motrax came by and gave me salami,
It was icky, and nasty, green like grass,
Plus, it smelled like someone's gas passed.
And yet I ate it, unaware of the danger,
For I was poisoned, and died three days later.

But that wasn't the end of me just yet,
As He wanted to give me more pain to get.
And I was a poet, tright and content,
When out came a voice I had to repent,
Sure enough it was him, and he had on a glare,
And yanked out my lungs, right into thin air.

Right after that, many things had come,
I was writer before to some,
And of course I was Philosopher at times,
Punished times two for all of my crimes.

A fighter came up, he was strong as an ox,
Brang out a gun and shot me right up,
Yelled at me for the writings I made,
And tramped off away to live out his day.

The rest of the town, they hated my thoughts,
As Philosophy came once every five months,
So they decreed that I shall be hung,
On a tree, no doubt, without help to become.
Tying me up, they let me drop,
And now I hang from atop a crop.

So lifeless and limp, its sad to see,
What danger that Motrax, what dangers he brings,
And yet no one just happens to believe,
That in the end, He rules everything.
How do I write this, even though I'm dead?
Its because these are thoughts through your head.
I can't explain cause I'm just out of time,
I'll see you after your life have declined.

A Poem to Sauron
Ah yes, your poems, they elate,
Simple things, where legends create,
And heroes are born, and people are slain,
Such a tale is made, but is just too plain.
I know this is late, but just reconsider,
Think before post, and make your poems better.

Haiku - Really, not great... sorta sucks.
Snapping of a rod,
Fish jumping out the water,
Fishing in a lake.

Looking left and right,
Hurried feet run on asphalt,
Try to cross the street.

A fire within,
Breathing in and out softly,
Just smoking cigars.
