There will be. What's with the disproportionate number of members here from Australia, anyway? Who's sending them all here? -------------------- I believe there are 15 747 724 136 275 002 577 105 653 961 181 555 468 044 717 914 527 116 709 366 231 425 076 185 631 031 296 protons in the universe, and the same number of electrons. -- Sir Arthur Eddington Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I'd like to see a strategy game from Jeff. I doubt it would be half bad. Maybe something based on exile, Slith Race, Nephilim Race, Human Race, Vahnatai Race. A little out of story, but it would be cool. -------------------- "Wow, fish." Hahahaha, I crack myself up. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Nah, not really. Just have it on a different continent and have the strategy game from there... Oooo... what would make it a little more interesting is by adding Exile/Avernum with it. Now, TWO floors of strategic combat! =P -------------------- "Friendship is two things: Trust, and sharing. Edit: Also, Australia has fairly poor internet and computer infrastructure, so many of us turn to less demanding games to waste away our time between riding Kangaroos and chucking shrimp on the barbie. Though I catch your sarcasm, I must wonder: Is it possible to ride a kangaroo? Perhaps if you were small and made a special harness? -------------------- Need a pet? Need cheap labor? Buy a Moose! It would be pretty hard to even get on the kangaroo and fasten your harness before it realized what was going on. A surprise approach and lunge could do the trick, but it would still not approve of your intrusion. It would most probably try to buck you, and would probably succeed unless your harness was very strong. The ride would probably resemble a warped rodeo. And, obviously, if you were anything larger than a little kid, it would probably lose its balance while trying to shake you off and fall over, possibly resulting in serious injury for one or both of you. -------------------- "Let a man find himself, in distinction from others, on top of two wheels with a chain- at least in a poor country like Russia- and his vanity begins to swell out like his tires. People ride ostriches - faster than horses, I might add. They box kangeroos - usually losing. Contrary to Queensbury rules, the 'roos kick too. Posts: 2333 | Registered: Monday, January 7 2002 08:00 |

Supposedly, the 'roos also have a nasty habit of clawing out peoples' stomachs when they kick. Nice thought for the day... -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Posts: 2314 | Registered: Tuesday, January 15 2002 08:00 |

While this has gone horribly, horribly off-topic and it's all my fault, I can't resist putting my 2 cents in again. I can't imagine an ostrich would still be faster than a horse when laden down with the weight of an adult human. EDIT: Speaking of horribly off-topic, I just realised this exact reply wouldn't look too out of place in the "ride" topic. 0_o [ Wednesday, November 19, 2003 01:10: Message edited by: John Winston Howard ] -------------------- I believe there are 15 747 724 136 275 002 577 105 653 961 181 555 468 044 717 914 527 116 709 366 231 425 076 185 631 031 296 protons in the universe, and the same number of electrons. -- Sir Arthur Eddington Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
