Ask one of the wyrms: "If I were to ask you, is this the way out of hell, (point in direction) what would you say?" The truth teller would naturally give the correct answer. The liar, if the way really were the correct one, would say "no" to the direct question but would have to lie and say that he would say "yes." A similar argument shows he would say "no" if it were the wrong way. So you are guaranteed a true answer. This assumes that there are only two paths, and one is right and one is wrong. The system for GF, with dialog nodes for each conversation point and checking dialog options against SDFs, stats, items, etc. seemed like a very efficient method. Given that, I'm sure either Jeff or some other community-loyal programmer will create some tool to facilitate making dialogs. If what you're saying is that you want this tool available beforehand, you'd have to ask people with programming skills to create something with a good interface that would offer ways to create the scripted dialog file from its component parts. -------------------- 5.0.1.0.0.0.0.1.0...
