I'm sorry, but I still don't quite understand. My post was abusive and annoying? If so, I apologize, but I didn't realize that, and I'm sorry I replied harshly to WildKarrdeSmuggler.

Now tell me, did that in anyway stop you from existing?

No, of course not, but my intention was not to prevent a god from existing merely by saying it: I was stating my own opinion.

It may be a litany, but it's not meaningless: it's my opinion, and it's relevant to the topic. I see no reason not to post it. Nor do I see any reason for you to have the right to tell me not to post it.
If you don't like my opinion, you can post here and say so, but don't try to tell me not to express myself.

Speaking of BoA betatesting, has Jeff already replied to all the testers he has considered, or is there still hope?

A Riddle... in General

This is a classic, and the solution is rather simple. Ask one of the wyrms:
"If I were to ask you, is this the way out of hell, (point in direction) what would you say?"
The truth teller would naturally give the correct answer.
The liar, if the way really were the correct one, would say "no" to the direct question but would have to lie and say that he would say "yes." A similar argument shows he would say "no" if it were the wrong way.
So you are guaranteed a true answer.
This assumes that there are only two paths, and one is right and one is wrong. If there are more than two, I'm not sure if or how it could be done.

Use the "exitzone" cheat.

(Type shift-D to enter a cheat, then type exitzone)

Not exactly. A newbie's 1 - 3822 is lower than 299 - 95.

I think the statistic looked for here is post count plus member number. Then Sara's would probably be the lowest, if you're only including active members.

Well, not exactly. The newest newbie will have a post count-to-member number ratio of 1:3820, at the time of writing. That's much lower than your 299:95. Drakefyre's is probably the highest, at around 900, followed by TM with 850.

No one has mentioned old classics...
The Third Man is a great movie, as well as anything and everything by Charlie Chaplin.

Disney, anyone? The Lion King and Aladdin are two of my favorite movies.

I recently saw and enjoyed A Simple Plan -- Billy Bob Thornton is excellent in it.

I think what Lkae meant is the amount of possible elevations: In the Avernum games, there were many slopes and cliffs, and it would be good to know how high they can be made.

Well, with three races, you could technically have up to seven games, representing each combination:
N
S
S-N
H
H-N
H-S
H-S-N
(I thought it was eight until I realized you can't have no races)

A Dialog Editor for BoA? in Blades of Avernum
Infiltrator
Member # 3040

The dialogs will probably be in the same format as Geneforge 1 & 2, seeing as the scripting language is the same. The system for GF, with dialog nodes for each conversation point and checking dialog options against SDFs, stats, items, etc. seemed like a very efficient method.

Given that, I'm sure either Jeff or some other community-loyal programmer will create some tool to facilitate making dialogs.

If what you're saying is that you want this tool available beforehand, you'd have to ask people with programming skills to create something with a good interface that would offer ways to create the scripted dialog file from its component parts.

Anyone read Raymond Smullyan? Ian Stewart?
Entertaining as well as enlightening. Very fun.

Also...

A lot of Shakespeare I don't like, but I loved Hamlet.
I am also one of the many Pratchett and Tolkien fans on the boards.
Anyone here read Robin Hobb? I liked her books.

And regarding classics, I enjoyed The Metamorphosis, The Iliad and The Odyssey, The Catcher in the Rye, 1984, and lots of others.
