Are there any BoE developers out there who are thinking of turning their BoE scenarios into BoA scenarios? I am very tempted to turn my own scenario "A Gathering Storm" into a BoA scenario. In my imagination the towns and dungeons of aGS have always been 3 dimensional in a way that has been difficult to express in BoE and I look forward to recreating in BoA as they should be. Just some question though. I've heard that you can port scenarios from BoE to BoA. How does this work and how does it cope with complex series of coding? Will I be able to link towns like I did in aGS? How much vertical variation can I have in a town? In BoE you can have only 256 different terrain types (and over third of that is autoterrain or has features that can't be changed). What are the Terrain limitations in BoA? I've been looking at how I can convert some of the custom graphics, like the redstone walls, into BoA graphics but I am a wee bit worried about some of the custom creatures. Namely the giantesses. I was looking at the Louvre's how to pages and I was worried by what I read about giants. "A giant is a creature that cannot join your party. You cannot interact with giants." Does this mean the party will not be able to talk to the giants? If any of you have played A Gathering Storm you will understand why it is important to get clarification on this. When you say "512 of everything else", do sets of walls with a dozen graphics each count as one or a dozen? What does IIRC mean? And have you tried it? You're a beta-tester, right?
