Two questions: Is there something wrong with the current ogre graphics? There are no child or women graphics but there are still ogre warrior and chief graphics. Also, have you made this scenario or are you making this scenario? Have you even started this scenario or is it still in the planning stages? If it isn't completed, I'd wait until the scenario is almost finished before asking for graphics. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Human nature has never changed and never will. I believe it is our power to reason, rather than our nature, that allows us to resist these natural demons. Or is it our nature to reason? Hmm... Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

In 1844... ...Democrat James Knox Polk defeats Whig leader Henry Clay for the presidency of the United States after an anti-slavery candidate splits the Whig vote. ...Mormon leader and prophet Joseph Smith and his brother are shot to death by a mob after being jailed for burning the press of a rival Mormon paper. Brigham Young is chosen to replace Smith as leader of the Mormons. ...The Young Men's Christian Association is founded by English dry-goods clerk George Williams. ...Alexander Dumas pens popular adventure romances, such as The Three Musketeers. ...Social critic Karl Marx describes religion as the sigh of the oppressed creature, the feelings of a heartless world...the opium of the people. ...Amos Bronson Alcott, father of author Louisa May Alcott, founds the hapless Fruitlands commune. The utopian community fails after members spend too much time talking enthusiastically about the grand project in which they are engaged--and too little time working in their orchards. ... I wasn't adressing anyone specific... I wrote that post while wondering how to get new designers involved, including (maybe) myself. Edit: And I know that dinky little graphics are nowhere near as hard or time consuming to make as scenarios themselves, but I like and have a knack for making graphics, so I hope that my minuscule contributions will inspire someone. BBC NEWS Good world news website. The fact that Americans even address tortue as an important instrument to root out terrorism proves that they view 'terrorism' as a physical entity rather than a state of mind. I'd suggest tackling the issue more diplomatically. The liberation of the Middle East could be seen as a diplomatic approach to reduce terrorism, but the fact that these terrorists are martyred as they commit suicide and the Americans are viewed as modern day Bismarcks (though I'd hardly compare Bush to Otto), fuels hatred towards the West. We can also thank Europe's comic and Turkey's "Valley of Wolves," for rekindling these flames. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

The problem with most kids my age is that they all believe the world focuses on them. They all feel like they are God's gift to the world and the opposite sex. Television shows and magazines all depict people with the best traits and qualities, setting standards remarkably high. If you asked most girls what they wanted in a man, most would probably describe Chad Michael Murry's television character. If you asked a guy what he wanted in a woman, he'd probably describe something like Jessica Simpson. I'm horrible with women. I somehow have the curse of attracting all the women I don't feel any sort of attraction towards and failing to pick up cues from women I do like, until it's too late. Maybe if I hadn't had some bad experiences with women friends (bad idea) I wouldn't be such a pussy towards women now. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

How sad. Somehow I can't help but feel that a man in the same position would have been let go. There were probably many 'under the counter' factors to her sentence. The man she killed could have been a relative to someone important or wealthy, or the other men are related to someone important and want her dead. Could also be tied to the general disrespect* for women in that culture. *By western standards. I assume that Islam stresses great respect for women. No one in the Middle East likes Israel because Israel is a Jewish state living on top of the holy lands, not soley because they back the US. The president of Iran has already claimed that he does not recognize Israel as a country or believe that the holocaust ever happened. Allowing a nation to research Nuclear power unsupervised, after they have already stated that they would destroy Israel if they could, is complete madness. To top it all off, Iran is a Shi'a run nation, surrounded by other Shi'a run nations, including, thanks to the US, Iraq. Since the elections in Palestine, not even Israel's neighbors are neutral anymore. The US and Israel are only two of the many critics against Iran. The entire European Union, Russia, and China, all back the idea of placing UN supervisors in Iran. None are saying Iran can not have a Nuclear program; they just want to make sure that it is being used for practical purposes. Furthermore, Iran has disagreed to every one of these negotiations, and will not allow supervisors. Why? Makes a man wonder... But why worry about the Nuclear program when the entire Middle East and parts of Africa have been in uproar over the stupidity of Europe and Denmark? Western embassies, including some from the US, have been destroyed and are currently beseiged by protestors. If the violence continues to grow worse and more Western embassies are destroyed, what will happen next? Oh yeah, This pics a few years old, I'll have to get a new one. My computer crashed a while back and I lost the graphics I had made for the edited and original Monster divisions (The ones that won first place.) I found the graphic that won the original division, but I cannot find my edited entry (It was an Angel/paladin thing.) If anyone has it or knows where I can find it, I would appreciate the information. EDIT: If I remember correctly, I called it "Avatar of Virtue." Sometimes a cave full of monsters is just a cave full of monsters. Not everything has to connected to the scenario plot just to make sense, though it is generally advised. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Some of my predictions for 2016? If Israel isn't already destroyed by Iran, it will be fighting Palestine with renewed vigor after Sharon dies. North Korea will either be absorbed or overthrown by the South, or they'll be in an unstable chaotic mess after bombing South Korea. Poverty and disease will increase in sub-Saharan Africa, and any attempts to aid the people will result in further empowering their corrupt governments. The US, still run by Republicans, will continue to spend billions of tax dollars on defense and ignore foreign aid and the worsening environment. Until the UN agrees to everything the US says, the US will continue to ignore them at convenient moments. Because of a lack of power over the most powerful nation in the world, the UN will slowly live out its usefulness. Iraq will still be in a mess. The lack of a Kurdish and Sunni power will further strenghten the Shi'is' grasps on their own countries and the on Middle East. Terrorism will have worsened. (oops shouldn't have used 'terrorist,' I'm secretly being monitored by my friends in the government.) EDIT: Oh, and unless they make a pill that sucks the fat out of your skin, most Americans will stay enormously obese. EDIT #2: How could I forget China? By 2016, China will own the world. My parties are usually very similar to Imban's build. I'll usually have a Slithzerikai tank that worries more about large amounts of health and luck than damage, a Nephilim archer/theif, and a mage/priest with enough speed increasing items to be able to cast Slow and War Bless on the first turn. Edit: This party build effectively finishes scenarios designed for much higher level parties on torment, without the use of the Divinely Touched trait. Brittle Bones is a surprisingly useful disadvantage which gives all characters, not designed for melee, a nice XP boost. When playing torment you hardly notice the effects at all. Oh a four person party... In a four person party I'll keep the mage and priest separate or add a warrior/priest.
