I'll take this time to waste everyone elses with my stupid ideas that won't even happen anyway...

ok nevermind I won't. I can't think of anything. BUT, I think the Spiritual idea would work fine, minus the sensing and spell points recovery. The bonuses in damage and defense are enough. I don't see how that couldn't work. But the Racist trait just wouldn't be fun to play. I'm sure the XP bonus would be great, but I'd rather not suffer that.

I understand and actually agree with all of these... EXCEPT 3 and 5. I use my mouse when playing. If you don't, I'm sorry, but most people do. And 5 is just not well thought out.

That's what I do. You should see my computer desk; it's full of papers that have notes from games. That and IP addresses for Half-Life...

OK.

A simple solution to the annotation of maps: make a picture (bmp, whatever), and include it in the zip that the scenario comes in. The user can then add his own notes.

The lizard chariots were said to be possible. Jeff hinted (told?) us that we would be able use alternate graphics for horse-like things. Restrictions could be applyed with scripts.

Clouding an area should be possible with scripts, but we'll have to see on that.

Yea. While I always wanted to use my same party to conquer the whole series, I left out the little thing called 'balance'. Not to worry though. There WILL be plenty of great stories to be told.

Again, yes. If not (for some reason), then they'll be possible through scripts anyway. It might, however, poise problems for scenario-to-scenario carrying. And yes, poison could be accomplished by just adding some poison damage to a weapon. The actual ablitity to apply it yourself, I dunno.

Yes I already said I would (that was included in the "others" part). My only problem right now is my lack of free time. I'm currently conjuring alternate methods of getting stuff done, so perhaps I'll be able to churn some stuff up in the coming *insert time period*. I know, and I do too. But my mages/priests are never pure casters. They always have some decent fighting skill.

And give me some time (possibly lots) and I'll get you some quality terrains, Brett. I already have a need for snow, desert, and swamp you mentioned, along with some others.

I'm with ya'll there! (I'm allowed to say "ya'll", in North Carolina, it's a real word, just try not to think of me as a hick, for I haven't the slightest accent of "southern" dialects) I miss bashing weapons... I always used to give my mages/priests them because it just seemed fitting. Now I had to give them blades or poles or bows, all of which I don't think of when I think of magic users. I believe that somewhere he (Jeff) hinted at including the bashing graphics, tho he didn't mean to. But DEFINATLY don't quote me on that.

Just make the effect that it is. Make an item and say it's two Stone Short Swords, when it's actually just one (technically). The user would just have to use their imagination a little bit.

Oh no, you got me! Actually I'm from the extremely distant past, hence my name Karzoth (yes, the one from the Exile games! First Visitation...). But yea nice try.

Since we're no longer on topic, I'll try to correct my COMPUTER'S wrongs and get back on:

The Infinity is indeed the best of it's time, but it's getting quite dated (if you're a real gamer!). A new one, based on a popular modulation, Temple of Elemental Evil, is coming out soon/right now. Go get it, it's sure to be great. I also believe Bioware will use it's engine it made for Star Wars:Knights of the Old Republic in future D&D games. Look for them as well.

God. I can explain that. Cable was dying, due to large storm, and the page kept loading and loading. Then finally my power went out. This was, of course, all not intentional (you guys know me, I'm not like that. I could care less about post numbers). :( maybe I should take a break from the boards so my stupid ISP doesn't get me banned.
