I'd like B if it worked as well, but A is clearly the choice right now. Maybe it's just here in NC, but it takes too long for not very much. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Well technically, on Windows, you can. All the art files are kept in a folder, and are there to be tampered with. I personally have done so with many monsters and such. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

I don't we should be too hasty as to deciding what should stay/get the boot. I call my single item there (a goblin!) an EDIT-ENHANCEMENT, not a pallete swap. I'd has some added goodies, but knowing my luck, it would get trashed for it obvious roots. This seems to be the case in many situations, so I say we be a little easy on the judgement of edit or color redux. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Yes, many (most?) people have been thinking/planning scenarios for BOA, including myself. I started making one for BOE so I could just translate it over to Avernum and have a major head-start. But that hasn't gone too well, and I worry about the problems. Scenario contests have been discussed deeply already. Perhaps you should topic-scrounge for the information you're looking for. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Good. Sadly I can't say I know very much about Gamecube games. A full-blooded PC gamer. I did, however, spend some hours with Mario Tenis on N64 with my roommate years ago, and loved it. Best of luck with that. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

I'm EXCITED! (not EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!) about a lot of things to come in the... coming months. Half-Life 2 anyone? Doom 3 then? Only one month away is my current obsession, the new Prince of Persia game. I'm not exactly sure what being EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!! feels like. I doubt my body could handle. And of course, I am EXCITED! about BOA. Just... not as much. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Sadly, BOA has been slated for Q1 2004. If that's 'soon' to you, then I won't bash. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Take 'em off. While some actually look good, and look like new stuff, most turn out to be just the same thing. Innovation is key. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

He's been working on it for a while now; a log would be most incomplete. And as stated above, I'd rather have him working on it. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Years of practice, haha. But honestly it's true. You are by far not the first person to request this, and Jeff has ignored us since the beginning. But he does tend to suprise us, so maybe we'll get a good outcome. But don't count on it... -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

That will change more than likely, but we have to be prepared for anything. Let us hope, though. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! I hear ya. Needs: a simple, easy to access library in a neat, orderly format. Division into categorys seems the most feasible. Some ideas...: Monster, NPC, World, Combat, so on, so forth. I can't think of a simpler way to do it, but then again I tend to think elaboratly. This would work perfectly as just another section in the Louvre, since Brett is doing a wonderful job with that. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Hah, people quit slamming me! I have nothing to put up until BOA is ever released. BUT we do have a new member, RageAgainstThePoochine, that brings us up to 4! We're happy to see more people taking that step up to help us. We look foward to more members in the time to come. I'd like to help, also, but I'm not really sure what I could do. Let me know if you want help. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |
