That would require making a bunch, (or at least a few), new sites. I don't think that a bunch of graphic databases are going to be much fun.

We should wait right up until right before the release and then do it, just to get a better idea of what we're working with. (Walkthroughs, script ideas, maps, and stuff.)

Of course, it isn't a bad idea to link any graphic databases together now.

I find having less than 5 units (PC's) gives me less tactical options, but that's just because I'm used to more. I can't use bruisers that do flanking while using summoned monsters as fodder betwixt my (usually 4 in Exile) MU's and enemy fighters.

I tried to play through that once. I used a 1-PC megaparty, and got stuck at one of the last tests. (Darn reuniting nodes.)

I've had a nifty little idea for multiple explosions for BoE.

Place invisible monsters over blocked terrain, and have an "Explosion on space" node, with a large enough radius to get all of them.

It would also do damage to the party, but that just adds to the realism.

I think I'll go test that…

Terrains? Oh. The original avernum doesn't have a terrain graphix file or files. Or at least I haven't found any.

I haven't even got the Avernum 2 or 3 demos.

In reference to the Spiral Crypt, E1 has no portals, slopes, levers, or doodads. It simply has a barrier (likely put there by fleeing humans) and many corpses (sliths, or slith-like monsters) outside the barrier and (humans) inside the barrier.

And it has darkness. And its creepy.

A rating betwixt "PG" and "R". I've got the dilemma of feeling guilty and rating a scenario an exaggerated "R", or a misleading-and-harmless-sounding "PG".

I doubt very many people know whether the above scenarios will be used for BoA. However, I think it would be better if Jeff got his writer's mind greased and wrote three new scenarios. Probably what he's doing.

They might just use the converter to convert the three originals to BoA scenarios like *that* anyway. (* means I'm snapping my fingers.) :P

That is, if they go through with the converter idea. That would be tough.

You already get experiance from when a friendly kills a hostile. But not nearly as much.

I think summoning is useful when up against a particularly annoying sort of mage, and you need to provide him w/extra targets. Though I've never gotten very many monsters from summoning in Avernum.

Exile, on the other hand, can provide you with Ghasts, which are very effective.

Some people feel that they have to give everybody they meet that they think sounds or smells bad a really bad rating.

It's only the younger ones though. (Not all of the younger ones.)

It's usually an average betwixt the 5 ratings and the 1 ratings, seeing as people usually don't give anything else.

Their society ranking is most likely rated on strength/warriorship, and the Nephar beat the Nephil at that.

I think that acid spraying should be limited to items and monsters.

There is no immunity to acid, (so far in Exile, haven't tested Avernum), and you need items to resist and cure it.
