The only thing that sets the 4th of July apart from any other day is the easy access to fireworks. But since the only fireworks you can buy in town are the legal ones, you need to by a bunch and modify them. Not the only place though, down here where I live, we can't shoot any "good" fireworks, but they are easy to buy. I saw some that were probably at least 2-4 feet wide.
