Someone should start one. It's time.

That would require making a bunch, (or at least a few), new sites. I don't think that a bunch of graphic databases are going to be much fun.

We should wait right up until right before the release and then do it, just to get a better idea of what we're working with. (Walkthroughs, script ideas, maps, and stuff.)

Of course, it isn't a bad idea to link any graphic databases together now.

Right now we don't have many sites that are concerned with BoA because there's not much they can host (besides graphics that is).

Once BoA comes out, for example custom scripts are, I'd guess, gonna be a useful resource for BoA sites to offer.

There are some sites that are (or will be) about BoA when they're done, I can now only think of

——Zharrad's (Zharrad's Tower)

——Karzoth's (Fort Emergence)

——my own (Encyclopædia Ermariana)

Those are all the under construction sites, of course there's also the Louvre and stuff, but these here shouldn't be forgotten, they'll be great once BoA comes out (mine may be earlier or later than that, since it doesn't technically depend on BoA in any way).

If there are more, please post them here. :)

*Him!*

Yea my site definitly has to wait for BOA's release before anything can really be done. I have a few of my own graphics I'll put up eventually, but as of right now I haven't much drive to add them.

Also custom scripts are something I personally didn't think about, and ARE something we'll be making a lot of. Good job on realizing that.

Shouldn't some pges be added there? Especially the Louvre, since it's the biggest graphic resource for BoA on the web?

The others are mostly under contruction still, so I'm not sure if they could go up there.

Custom scripts would be extremely useful to have on sites, as simple text files probably, and describing what they do first. We're not all programmers (I freak out when I see anything more complex than html), so small snippets of code that, for example, would make a good AI for an end-fight summoner monster, would be a great resource. Didn't someone already suggest a script contest somewhere ;) ?

Ahem. Lord Azurewrath is quite dead and his site is also.

So if Azurewrath is gone, can anyone access/modify the webring, or is it totally closed? Should a new one be made?

That counts me out. Dedicated as I am, I'm not half as active as I'd have to be for that job. :P

I could do it, if Brett really doesn't want to. It could be good having the same person run the BoE and BoA rings.

We need to ID a good webring, then. I'm not real stuck on the BoE webring. It works, but just.

Also, as there is a dead BoA webring already there, best to move to a different, better system.

Anyone out there have a suggestion?

Hah. I'd do it, but I lose things easily and have a busy schedule as it is. Oh well...

An alternative webring solution? Hmm..
Well, you could just create another webring on the same site, but under a different name, like boa instead of bladesofavernum.

It would seem this server supports PHP and Perl, so, if Spiderweb could handle the bandwidth (remember misc), Spiderweb *could* host it.

I also hear Yahoo provides webring services.
Edit: It seems webring.com was originally part of Yahoo, but it split.

I've created something minor, but it's not ready yet. It will be in a few days, however.
