I finally took a look at the graphics (I got 3rd in Edited! Woohoo!) and I realized I sent the wrong splash screen ! Obviously I can't make a change, but here is the correct if anyone wants to see: Picture! I was curious, so I tried this in 2D mode, and I find that the extra terrain is drawn according to my brush size. A 3x3 will create a duplicate 3x3 usually in some position north or northwest. I'm running OS 10.2.8 with the latest version. I never had any major problems with the 3D editor before you released the beta with scrolling between outdoor section. -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours. Why would anyone want to change a PC's graphic? If you were a PC, would you want the DM to change your graphic at will? In regards to #2. Yes, it WOULD be nice to check SDF's. But how do you differentiate scenarios successfully? Also, if you did this, how do you tell the difference between scenario #1 0,0 SDF and secnario #2 0,0 SDF? BoA is desgined so that the player has SOME control, and scenarios DO NOT interfere with each other. It is a headache to create a system of compatible scenarios without massive cooperation for the various designers. A thought: Jeff could assign an ID to each scenario to tell them apart. But if a scenario is never submitted to Jeff, but released via a homepage... -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours. Posts: 480 | Registered: Thursday, October 11 2001 07:00 |

Isn't there a way to check coordinates outside? char_loc_x/y doesn't work because there are no individual characters on screen. Just a party. Could a group check or another function exist? I recall some method of checking the parties location. Edit: Nope. [ Wednesday, October 13, 2004 18:01: Message edited by: Dahak ] -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours. The idea of Intelligent Lizard Men (and Women!) has been around Sci-Fi alot. I remember stories from then 1930's that explored this concept (The Saurian Age!). Cat people... David Weber, Larry Niven, and others. Personally, I'd go with Weber. "On Death Ground", "The Shiva Option", "Crusade", and "Insurrection". I believe they are based on "Starfire". What Patricia Wrede? I think I have the right author, but she goes with Forest Dwelling Intelligent Nature Loving Cats. I remember someone did the Cat/Japanese culture. Anyone know? -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours. Posts: 480 | Registered: Thursday, October 11 2001 07:00 |

If I place any terrain or floor, the same is also placed (but not removed) 11 squares westward. Latest version I have no problem with heights. Also, I move from section to section by scrolling, it asks if I want to save (with occasional crash  ). I choose save. If I Nothing in the next section, but move onto another section, it will continue to ask "Do you want to SAVE/CANCEL/OPEN" until I actually save via menu or command-s -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours. Your problem is likely (since I can't see) the walls on the right side. They are higher than the left side. Right side is drawn OVER the left side. Either space it out, or adjust the right. -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours. Posts: 480 | Registered: Thursday, October 11 2001 07:00 |
