My current scenario has about 3 dungeons. However, it has a full load of towns. Most of the combat is in the towns (Politics :) ) and the dungeons are more along the line of level-up /item sidequests. Would you toss in more dungeons, or toss in more travel (XP sidequests). Oh, and the town combat is varied. All towns start out as friendly. Your actions cause the towns to change their attitude. -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours. I wonder if that happens because the party is assumed to be in the center of the screen. If the scripts is near the center of the screen, then the game thinks that the party is next to script. Hmm. Sudden explosion of replies! especially since I just need commenting and feedback on the town. Anyways, I'm sending out the file. No. This is not a Beta Test. I just some people to wander through the town I'm currently working on. I had a layout, but I lost it and for the life me I can't think of what I wanted. Take a look at the full rooms, the empty rooms, and tell me what you think should be in/out. I'm bashing my head against the wall here. Just list your e-mail, and I'll toss the file your way. Nevermind Garrison. I found and fixed the problem. The probelm was that light is calculated in the Editor, and not in the game. However, I was using the 3D editor. When the game is opened and saved using Jeff's editor, the problem ceases to exist. I'm letting Issac know about this problem. -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours. Here is another bug/problem: Light will shine thorugh "block view" objects. Nothing blocks a lights radius. Nothing. So light will go through solid walls... EDIT: Light can be blocked. This shouldn't be a major engine change, and would be backward compatible, but the town details menu has 2 unused fields. Could it be possible the convert one of those fields to load a custom town graphic background? (The picture behind the character in the inventory screen) It looks really odd to have a mountain in the background, but you're in the middle of the desert. -------------------- My ego is bigger than yours.
