Major Haste and Bless Party both haste and bless the entire party respectively. If you want something a bit more powerful, Major Blessing blesses, hastes AND poisons the weapons of the whole party.

Yes, haste potions haste you.

If anyone has a working .meg, or even a .gif file for it, I'd appreciate it. My graphics program doesnt work with bmps, and so I have to screenshot everything, and copy and paste them together. I tried doing that, and I kept seeing ugly little lines everywhere.

FuturePaint for the Mac is decent, and if you can afford Photoshop, it works pretty well too.

Differences between BoA and BoE, what's Nethergate in Blades of Avernum

BoE uses the Exile engine, which is vastly different from the Avernum engine. (cant do quite as much, although i still prefer it) Thats the only big differance I can think of.

Err, with the exception of Der Langrisser, which has a partial translation, all of the games you listed have complete translations into English. I've also beaten all of them except Star Ocean and Treasure of the Rudras, neither of which I ever really want to beat.

By Japanese Only, I meant no /official/ translations.

I can only think of one flaw with open sourcing the editor. Someone could change the editor so that it doesnt bother asking about the password for passworded scenarios. Of course, being open source and all, someone could make more ways to protect your scenario, but its something to think about.

You probably could be able to make a bank, and have an option to rob it. Infact, you can probably do that with BoE.

Horseback fighting.

Imagine, shooting people off your horse, or having it rear up and clobber someone. Now THAT would be cool. :cool:

I'd love to have a Vahnatai leap and do that matrix spin around thing. It would be possible, just by editing terrain to give the impression of turning.

I wish It would happen. But it probably won't. It would require a large add on to the engine, and would require hours of balancing it out. And BTW, Bok is a higher rank than Ihrno. :P

Think about it- Its nice knowing how much HP an enemy monster has. But, it would also be nice if the creator could make certain stats invisible. Perhaps a giant evil purple demon who looks like he should have 10000 HP, in reality only has 15, but you dont want the party to know that do you? So, hide the HP! :-)
