No one really has, but I know what a reaction would be. Since some people now in my school use calling people a Jew as an insult, that is what they would call me. -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. With me, it'd be more like, "how can you stand those graphics?!!" Or in my D&D circle, "So that's where you got that stupid life creationist class idea from. You suck random computer game company and I hope you die!" -------------------- "I don't understand a word you just said. Try speaking American. It's the only language I understand." My friends variously think it's strange that I play computer games at all or strange that I play RPGs instead of RTS or FPS games. The specific unusualness of Spiderweb games goes unremarked, quite possibly because my buddies don't know what to expect from a mainstream RPG anyway. —Alorael, who takes roughly the same attitude towards FPS games. Fair is fair, after all. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Since I am always cleaning up after Imban, I don't have much time to actually play games, so I have not actually played any of the Spiderweb Software games. ^^;; [ Sunday, May 13, 2007 10:58: Message edited by: Imban's Cat-Eared Maid ] -------------------- ni~pah Posts: 28 | Registered: Friday, April 27 2007 07:00 |

My brother says Spidweb games suck. I only play them at home so that's basically it. If I have guests, I'm not spending time messing around on the computer. I was out of college before SW ever existed, so there never was a quasi-private area in which I played. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I made the mistake of showing a few friends the game. One of them said the graphics suck, and the other regularly gives me speaches about the game and how g#y it is, he says things like this "hey when you move in Geneforge you teleport right huh? huh?" (Note he doesn't even know how to tell them apart. Posts: 507 | Registered: Tuesday, March 1 2005 08:00 |

I'm with Alorael on this one. My friends are too busy not appreciating RPGs in general to even notice the bad graphics. Most of them are into old nintendo emulators, too, so that surely factors in as well. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

My cousin saw me playing BoA..it wasn't a pretty experience.. He slapped me(and I do mean slapped) and shouted one of my pre-given responses (the "OMG! ARE YOU THAT DESPERATE!?!" one) and he slapped me again and finally, he introduced me to WoW.. Now..I don't play SpidWeb games when people are around..except my brothers..they're younger..=D When will be the world be safe for the SpidWeb Gamers..TELL ME WHEN!! -------------------- Oh you're a cute Adze-Haakai you are.. Anyone who's seen me playing has shown, at the very least, mild interest. I've never actually had any negative reactions from others about a Spiderweb game. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. I don't really play on the computer when I have friends over, but my family has seen me play SW games. My brother thinks the graphics are horrible, so he wont give the games a chance. My mom and older sister feel that I'm too old for games, and my nephew really likes SW games but dislikes the amount of reading. Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

I've only showed SW games to people I thought would like them, so I've never had a negative reaction. -------------------- "You're drinking liquor because you're thirsty? No, see, RPGs also need gameplay, or you get Xenosaga. My cat-eared maid is not Feran. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Imban not saying anything about it until know, and then only being something that would require real world knowledge of said person made that overly clear WKS. Thanks for pointing it out anyways, as I'm sure there were some people who didn't connect the dots. -------------------- All praise the greatest mod of all time! Long live Master Aran! Imban, as I've heard it, has a different IP than Imban's Cat-Eared Maid. Imban's Cat-Eared Maid has posted videos allegedly of him playing against Imban. Imban's Cat-Eared Maid has shown no evidence of knowing the same people here as Imban himself knows. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Um, more importantly, why does it matter why Imban secretly does behind closed doors? We really don't need to know about that sort of thing. -------------------- "I don't understand a word you just said. Try speaking American. It's the only language I understand."
