Yeah, I think it's the phonemes. Kel assures me it's a perfectly good Latin word that means "rotten", though. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Come to think of it, it could be because the 3D editor always uses the brightest town lighting setting, so if your town is darker than that, everything will look a little less bright. On the other hand, that's not likely to be your problem if the issue is specific to your red sliths. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Phaedra's... too sexy for this scenario... too sexy for this scenario... Note to self: find non-musical ways to taunt Kelandon. Getting songs stuck in own head makes for something of a Pyrrhic victory. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Nope. Don't feel too bad; he's dead on the inside anyway. (If you really want Faustulus to live and don't mind not being able to kill Putidus, it's still counted as a win if you just leave the scenario after escaping from prison.) -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Search the castle carefully; specifically, check out the southwest corner of the first floor. You'll find some interesting information which will then allow you to advance the plot. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! You're trying to kill him yourself? You're not supposed to do that. After escaping from prison, find Faustulus in the castle and enlist his help. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I'm assuming you're using the 3D editor, since the normal editor doesn't draw tints at all. The 3D editor also draws a red outline around hostile monsters, which might make them look more red. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! quote:The docs seem to imply that the adjustments are done in increasing order of number (so adjustment #1 is done before #16, which is done before #128). In some cases, making a graphic lighter as well as adding the tint seems to make the tint show up more than just adding the tint. I know what your problem is, but you won't like it. The char_take_item() call is broken. Harangue Jeff if you want it fixed. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

You don't get your spells back. But you're meant to use a brand new level-1 party anyway, so just don't take in your normal party. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

That's only for OS X, of course. Pre-X Macs didn't require file extensions for files at all. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

quote:I think you've misunderstood Andrew's point. He seems to be espousing a social-contract theory of morality, and at the moment society is mostly saying "Killing babies is wrong only after a certain point in their development". The fact that there may be no significant biological distinction between the fetus a day before that point and a day after that point is irrelevant. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! The one situation where passageways can get tricky is if you have several narrow corridors close to each other, especially if they turn corners. This only gets really ugly when you need to put doors in them, though, which you presumably won't be doing much of outdoors. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! But who to pick as Ms. Yaga's opponent? Well, since most of the Baba Yaga stories I've heard tend to centre around small children getting the best of her, I suppose Timmy from AC2 is the obvious choice. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Uh, TM? Sovereign can apparently blow people up via remote control, whereas Katothen gets both halves of his ass handed to him by the player at various times. :P -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
