I was on a cruise ship once, and the only thing I could think of the entire time was how great it would be to be a pirate looting the crap of the thing. So many fat tourists, so much food and American dollars, so many virgins, and all so defenseless. It really was a pirate's dream come true. -------------------- You lose. A Trakovite victory? Sure, that would mean the end of war as we know it in the Geneforge games. But it would result in the equivalent of dark ages earth. With no powerful Shapers or any other shaping wielding sect to maintain order, society would crumble. There would be barbarians everywhere. Not just human barbarians; with no essence minded individuals to keep creations in check, various species would run rampant, breeding out of control. Drakons might even have enough power infused into their race to be more powerful than humans by that point, anyway. Without shaping to maintain balance in the war, they will probably try to whipe out the human race. That's a Trakovite victory in a nutshell. -------------------- You lose. So that's where that feather went. No, I don't want it back, gross, you can keep it. I have plenty more where that came from, anyway. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Go to where you killed Shaper Monarch. If you got the key somewhere in Northforge, then you can enter the black door you will find there. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

At least the old Exile games had an option in the editor to reveal all maps. That way I was sure to not miss anything. I was disapointed when that feature was gone by the Avernums. On a side note, I'm also disapointed that there is no way to get rid of the fog of war in Age of Empires III. What's with game companies and making things more difficult for us cheaters? -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Nonsense, the Sholai would want the war to continue so they could sell goods to both sides. Sholai scum, they are next, after the Rebels, of course. I don't know if I could ever see Shapers and Drakons sitting down at a negotiation table together. More likely, also more interesting, would be if the Shapers were forced to ally with the serviles and rebel humans to stop the mad drakons. I can see no happy ending with them in it. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Mortiis, but only his old stuff, back when he thought he was a goblin and made cool medieval Nordic music. Corvus Corax, because they are the kings of minstrels. They not only play medieval music with bagpipes and drums, but they also spit fire, sing, read poetry, and some of them are even puppeteers. Alorael, and all of you who like classical music and whatever, I suggest you check them out. I give you my word as an Emperor that you will like what you hear. I've also been known to go to various metal concerts, and will always be a fan of the mighty Ozzy. I'm not sure if I actually like the music, or if I just have a morbid attraction to the kinds of people those kinds of bands draw to them. -------------------- You lose. Mazes and forests don't bother me so much. At least with them I know I'm not missing anything. I always get that sinking feeling when I'm about to exit a dungeon that I may have missed a passage, and that that passage just might have had the best item in the game. -------------------- You lose. Me and Drakey have already decided that he's doing it on purpose. The final tell was when he said something like 'snivelization.' Sometimes his misspellings are too good to be true. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

quote:When people say things like this, I can't tell if they are being sarcastic or if they truely are that sadistic. I think the worst dungeons ever tend to be spider lairs, where not looking for secret passages isn't even an option, since you need to use them to get through the dungeon. There there's the odd spider appearing out of nowhere when they use the passages themselves. I really hate those places. -------------------- You lose.
