I was very saddened by her death. All this time I was hoping she would die on some kind of horrible orgy accident that would be caught on tape and made into a reality TV show on FOX. My hopes were dashed when I found out she went out like all the other ODing suckers.

I had a dentist that always cleaned his hands... but never wore gloves! My mouth would be held open by one of those horrible devices and I would be like, "On't ou ant a ut on son govs?" He wouldn't understand, and now I can't forget that horrible soapy/salty taste. I can rest easy knowing that was a long time ago, he was really old, and he's probably dead now.

I know these things, I'm the Emperor.

Alorael, please edit a post sometime soon so that your current moniker will last forever.

Random comments: I imagined Sasquatch as being a bit more well endowed than that. Nikki looks exactly like I pictured him in my head, 'I'm too cool to face the camera.' Marching Band'ers were the only people I didn't get along with in High School, suddenly I understand why I'm not so popular here. And, in conclusion, apparently they'll let anyone carry a banner these days.

This question has been asked before, which is strange. It is doesn't appear on the map, however, so you do have an excuse. Go to Dillame, the big Shaper city. Go to the North end of the city and you will find the entrance to Rivergate Keep. I never was a fan of zones that don't appear on the map, I hate having to walk to them manually. But I don't have problems finding them because I bought the cheat book, which labels them just fine.

Silence peasant! Of course I don't dress like that all the time, just in the Spring. In the Winter, I wear a Soviet coat and hat. In the fall, a British guard uniform (instead of their big furry hat I wear the feathery one, but I switch to a red feather). In the Summer I usually wear one of my many kimonos.

But Tullegolar, what do you dress as during Halloween?

Clergy.

Unfortunatly, I don't have access to my own digital camera, so the only pictures of me on a computer are ones other people take. Which means they tend to be at special events. In this case, prom.

This is my triumvirate. The one on the left could probably beat anyone here in a fight. The one on the right is the only person I know that is smarter than me (I don't know you losers well enough, you probably just look everything up on wikipedia). As for me, I just stand in the middle and look good.

The only reason I made that editor was to tide others (and myself) over until someone that knew what they were doing made a better one. Feel free to improve on it or make a new one or whatever. It should be easy enought to find someone around here to host it, too.

The Empire
For more information, see Star Wars, Episodes I-VI.
It's proper name is the Galactic Empire, otherwise you might confuse it with, say, the Avernum world's Empire. Also, you won't find it in Episodes I-II.

Russian Empire:

Peter the Great formally transformed Russia from a Tsardom into an Empire when he changed his title in order to mimic the Western World, which he was very fond of. Though that made his official title Emperor, he and his successors would still be commonly refered to as Tsars.

Though Peter was well aware of the backwardness of his country, his successors were not so enlightened. Russia would remain primarily serf oriented until the mid 1800s. Even after that, the country would fail to industrialize and would be peasant oriented until almost the the mid 1900s.

Eventually, starving peasants would peacefully protest their treatment by the emperor, and they would be massacred for it, on a day now refered to as Bloody Sunday. That, plus one of the most brutal conflicts the world has ever known (WWI) would pave the way for an all to easy communist revolution. The last emperor, along with his family, were shot and dumped into a pit of acid. And no, Anastasia did not escape that one.

How could I forget the hedge maze?!? I don't remember that happening in Exile, though. Maybe it's been too long. Either way, I'm suprised to see you calling such a thing a "nuisance." I'd expect that kind of talk from me, but your the sick freak that likes to challenge himself to playing Geneforge without magic or creations.

In Dynasty Warriors V, there were some levels in which the mini-map would not appear to make things more confusing for the player. It was most effective. That would be an interesting element that Jeff could add.

Kyrek is far from the fist to spell my name "Tullegor." I wonder why that is such a common mistake, it's never really misspelled any other way.

Chinese Empire:
Though they have many mythical and semi-historical emperors dating back thousands of years (some with magical powers) the one that is generally seen as the founder of the Chinese Empire was Qin Shi Huang, who united China into one Empire after the Warring States Period.

Though the Chinese Empire lasted thousands of years, it's reign was hardly unbroken. The scholar Luo Guanzhong once said "the country, long united, must divide; long divided, must unite." This is a decent paraphrase of the history of the Chinese Empire. A particular dynasty would rule for a few hundred years, for example, the Han Dynasty. Then, after a few weak emperors, the land would spit, and local warlords would declare themselves emperors, such as in the Three Kingdoms Period. Eventually, one warlord would defeat the rest, and the Empire would move on.

During it’s height, the Chinese Empire was the most powerful entity in the world, easily. However, many circumstances that would take too long to explain here saw the Empire reduced to a secondary power in the shadow of the growing European empires.

The Chinese Emperor had a somewhat divine status to his people. He was considered as ruling by a 'mandate of heaven' and was refered to as the 'son of heaven.' But really, if someone wanted to overthrow him and was successful, that would simply be considered the will of heaven as well, so Chinese emperors did not hide behind religion the way European rulers did.

The Chinese Empire fell, sadly, to the forces communism. The last emperor lived out his life as a peasant, and died childless.

One proviso: elevation is a fine thing as long as the way things are displayed is tweaked so that being behind a hill doesn't mean you can't see a damn thing around you.
I should have known Thuryl would find a way to complain.

And I agree with Alorael about the seamless world. If it's a new area, it wouldn't be so bad; the caves of Exile simply weren't designed for those kind of maps and don't lend themselves to them well.
I totally said that before Alorael. Or are you just afraid to say you agreed with something Emperor Tullegolar said?

Pylons: I'm glad there won't be an army of them anywhere. I probably wouldn't have minded one or two guarding some kind of mysterious vahnatai treasure, though.

Elevation: I'm pretty sure there isn't a single person out there who is thinking "Elevations are coming back? Damn it!"

Honeycomb: I think the Avernum 5 honeycomb was the most accurate representation of a cave in the whole series. In real life, caves aren't all on the same plane like Avernum is, they go up and down and all around and whatnot.

Personal Note: Still no official word saying Rentar is dead. I am, of course, not saying she should be a major character, but I still want her to be alive and with a cameo! I still love you, Rentar!

What's this? You don't want Demonslayer?!? Look, you can defeat demons without it, but you really should get it anyway, otherwise you're missing out on an important Avernum tradition.

The pommel is not in the Nephilim Fortress, but the 'Underground Fort,' which is indeed West of Fort Duvno. It's full of nepharim, not nephilim. Far Northwest corner of the fort, search the sarcophagus.

Do it! Otherwise, how are future adventurers supposed to have access this most famous of blades?
