It's too bad that this topic couldn't get locked. Besides serving as a location for Slarty to whine about his flu, it really serves no legitimate purpose. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

For future reference, if Slarty opts out of this because of all the preliminary crying and whining, I will completely understand. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I'm sure with a bit of polish that story will be readable. Nioca - You are being an idiot. Slarty compared the story to Arghhhhh(hhhhh)'s, a person he actually thought was decent (for a while). So no, he was not touchy, nor was it a derogatory comment. You on the other hand are extremely touchy and it gets annoying fast. There doesn't seem to be a topic on which you don't know more or better than someone else. Maybe in another decade you will learn that it doesn't matter, and you could just have easily not corrected Slarty, even though you thought he was wrong. Hell, I'm wrong all the time and people rarely bother correcting me anymore. Not really worth it. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Besides, I'm afraid that newbie Nioca can't possibly know enough about more long term members to make a judgement like that. Stewie has been a productive and sometimes vocal member of this community, and just because his schtick is not spamming I believe he should be retained in the deathmatch championship. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Would there be any place in a creature script to check terrain, and possibly have a result happen? Could a creature script also look at the character location, and then at the terrain at that location, and then do an action? Hmmm. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Quick question about the use of the "word" fathomless. Since fathom is a measure of depth, is the writer assuming that Jewel's knowledge is without depth? Edit - The preceding was not written. Ever. I read somewhere that you select the graphic using Alt-V, and then left click in the reply window then hit Alt-F4 to paste it. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

IP logging will solve this, but gut says the troll has a newer account than Nioca. Also, it breaks my heart to admit this, but grammar isn't consistent. Solution : Ban everyone! -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |
