How can I get an image of in-game play in G4? And then, I don't even how to get it on the internet so how can I?

It is for asking a specific question...

In windows, use the "print screen" key, then open up any paint program and select "paste". Viola.

If using a mac, I'm told that there's some shortcut or program that you can use. However, as I am not familiar with the mac OSs as I should be, I'm afraid that someone else will have to supply that info.

On a Mac you press command-shift-3 to take a picture of the whole screen, and command-shift-4 to take a picture of a certain area.

As for getting it on the internet, you can't post an image unless it's actually on a website. So you have to upload the image somewhere.

In which this certain post is...
quote:
1. I am on Windows and
2. What website?
1. Lenar just told you.
2. Uploading means that you're transferring a file from your computer to the website. So you'd have to locate a website where you're allowed to do so. I'm sure the others can give you one if you're stumped.

On your keyboard. Look for it.

Dikiyoba uses TinyPic. It works well enough.

You can also use screen-capturing software, if you so desired.

And I use Photo Bucket. Though you have to make an account there to actually use it.

I tried to think of something witty to put here.

Needless to say, I failed.

Once you have your graphic saved the way you want it saved to your computer, look for a browse button to select the file and then for an upload button to upload your picture to the Internet. If that's what you're asking.

You'll see. Iffy started a food fight in Dolphin's milestone thread. Prepare to be flooded by images. I'm glad I'm not a moderator here.

I read somewhere that you select the graphic using Alt-V, and then left click in the reply window then hit Alt-F4 to paste it.

It's about time someone finally answered a question with a simple, effective answer that actually gets the job done. Woot!

For life, I go to school, run outside, and play video games (and destroy my mind on these boards).

Does that answer your question?
