You never answered my question Slarty. Stickmen or all stickfigures? Whether or not I can summon tentacled/tntacled mutant zombie vegetables and other things is going to make a rather large difference in how I perform in a deathmatch.

I would imagine all stick figures are legit.

Your advantage, Alex, I think comes not from monstrous stick figures (as most participants have weapons or spells that would wipe them away) but in the element of surprise and/or mindblowingness.

Or in his opponents laughing themselves to death.

Dikiyoba votes to cut Lone Flame (unless he makes an impassioned and preposterous post to save himself).

Edit: Post 3333

Seriously, who is Inspector Walnut? Is this some fictional character introduced in the Dikiscripts? I haven't even finished reading Episode 1 and I have no intention of doing so at any point in the near future.

Nobody will ever take Inspector Peanut's place in my heart, and any posers can shove it. Just FYI.

Yes, Inspector Walnut is from the scripts. Nobody else got to dictate how they would be characterized, so frankly, I suggest you get over it.

Edit: MM, do you want to be in it? If you do, I'd be happy to replace one of those three with you and make the choice simpler for me, but it sounded like you'd prefer to be out. Just let me know.

And I'm still sitting uneasily with my recent role of Martha Stewart. I note here no mention of my arsenal of cuttingly incisive words and brutally bludgeoning puns, not to mention my penchant for abounding alliteration abuse—these are all capable of inflicting significant damage from a safe distance.

I do seem to be in the correct category and in good company. *nods to his rangey mates*

Yes, but the point of a deathmatch isn't to hurt the audience.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. :P

Yay! And of course I wasn't going to list anything really good in the examples. :P

I will ask this question again, so how exactly is this going to work? I read the directions and I am a bit confused.

Nalyd found another power of his. He's milking this for all it's worth. He has the Daze, Fear, and Terror spells. He actually made someone truly scared of him last week. He also makes people he talks to blink several times and then turn away quite frequently. Hooray for Nalyd's power to be intensely disturbing when he puts his mind to it!

Uh huh. But it is so much fun to inflict an Area Spell! Can I help it if my strongest attacks do a little indiscriminate collateral damage?

Well Synergy, I at least salute you for using italics for an embedded quote. The world would be a better place if we all did that!

The final roster is now set. I ended up tossing all three of the entries I wasn't sure about, and reinserting MM (at his suggestion) and Magma Dragoon, because he is actually the least publicly cardboard of the bunch.

I'm now getting together the graphics setup and the rules. Expect to see a main tournament topic tonight or tomorrow, and a round one part one poll/topic tomorrow or sunday. The main topic will explain the rules somewhat more clearly, for those of you that are confused and can't be bothered to follow my links.

I have started several heated arguements before, you might want to make use of that.

I digress. Out of curiosity,
I googled Excalibur and discovered a plethora of business by that name. But nothing compares to the awesome sword in the rather boring novel of King Arthur.

I clicked on that link, and one of the results was on wikipedia, though its edit thing makes it untrustworthy.

Untrustworthy for a paper, yes, but it'll do for a casual information check.

Could someone explain the rules of the contest to me and how the hell scripts affect what powers you have.

I know exactly what powers/skills/abilitys I have, RP'ed them through 6 differant forums and honed them with brilliance and furious fighting.

A demon muffin, once into battle, will sit still until 15 muffins are killed. Then it will sumon a haakai. Then it attacks.

For future reference, if Slarty opts out of this because of all the preliminary crying and whining, I will completely understand.
