I picked the second option, as it seemed least judgemental. ... Seriously though, in the long string of philosophical improvements, both of these men refined the lens through which we saw the world. Luckily it was a positive refinement in that it encouraged further thinking and scientific exploration. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

You mean like all the cribs that have been recalled over the years? I love how it has become the responsibility of the classified advertising editors to enforce laws against reselling those cribs. So yeah, recalls don't mean very much, except that the company is willing to take back an item they should never have sold in the first place. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Some people don't live in a high enough density area to induce profiteering companies to offer high-speed options. For instance, the only high-speed option to me is satellite. In the time my signal has bounced 80 thousand miles through space, you can have already thought up a witty response to this post. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Plz... Do you people even know why the pictures are being posted? Do you understand the significance? If not, please limit yourself to reading the thread. And certianly don't post dial-up hateful images. They are unnecessary and, um, hateful. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

This should be interesting. I had the same problem trying to modify Nikki's scenario and it never did a thing. Does location within scripts matter? Does it matter what type of script? -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

quote:How was Thuryl talking about safety across the entire spectrum of medicine applicable to that of a single drug? You specifically say tainted, whereas his question is more about suitability. If 95% of a population would get sick, but 5% would get better, if a drug was administered, shoiuldn't that 5% have access? The 95% could just take a different drug to which their metabolism is more suited. If any of a batch of drugs is tainted, tampered, or otherwise different from labeled or tested, it should be recalled and given to other population groups. Or destroyed. I supposed destroyed is better. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

The tree provided did not have nearly enough lines interconnecting the various boxes to make a family tree that could come close to representing "reality." And Slarty? Your family tree from last year seems to have grown larger and better in the intervening time. It really wasn't. It was just another attempt at providing humor to an increasingly no0b and emoticon infested environment. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |
