Ok. So I had heard of Runescape before and never played it nor it appealed to me. However, I decided to give it a try (it's free afterall) today. Now here I am, a combat lvl 3, total lvl 32 with some cool items, and even a cooler outfit thanks to my friend Alex.
Feel free to add me: Marlenny.

Getting back to the subject in hand (Alex's views on homosexuality) I would say that TM has the best of it. However much he dresses it up, Alex has confessedly made a value judgement: "I'm choosing the heterosexual lifestyle because I think it's better than the homosexual one." This is somewhat offensive to other gays.

Correction, Alex chooses it because that's what feels right to him. I can see where someone would get offended, but please. You can't get sentimental just because someone doesn't agree with your point of view. Everyone is different and think differently. Now, I don't want to get involve in this whole thing, because I like both Alex and TM, and it's just plain stupid since neither is going to change their point of view. Besides, as far as I know, Alex does not have anything against Homosexuality or TM's view on the subject. He is just doing what feels right to him. Alex is not telling others that trying to change to Heterosexuality is the right thing to do, but that it is the right thing for him at this time. That's his decision and we should respect it. It is hard enough for him, so he doesn't need us to come here and make it harder.

Totally agree. I'm not normal nor know of anyone who is. Well, actually I do but since he is normal that just seems weird to me.

During this whole time, there is literally nothing happening. That's when I looked at the show with a slightly more critical eye and realized just how little talent the writers have.
Lol, it def sounds like DBZ to me, though it has more of a DBGT tone. I started watching it when I was 8, so a part of me will always love it (specially during freeza and cell). However, DBGT was just too anoying to watch. I just bothered to watch the ending which I hated. I just realized that 90% of all Japanese Animes I've seen had crappy endings.

In all seriousness, while we understand the difficulties of writing in a foreign language, there are some things that are the same in English and Spanish. Those are things like capitalization of the first letter of a sentence, a space after punctuation, some kind of recognizable paragraph division, and the like. Such simple things make your posts far more legible and save Kel from having to translate, which I don't think he'll do too often.

—Alorael, who would like to point out in any case that Jeff does not read these boards for suggestions and is unlikely to include any major revisions to the system he has worked out at this late date.

Hahahahaha. I loved this post, I swear to God. To me: it’s ok to have a bad grammar outside school, but chicho just takes it to a different extreme. According to him, he doesn't even READ his own post before posting them. Sure, using spell check on your post is not necessary, but I thought reading them was just plain common sense.

And now for the result of the monthly chicken representative election!

And the winner is: Nicothodes!!!!

You prize will be a million eggs and a nice hat with yellow feathers on it.

I know it's funny to play along, but for your own safety I think you should just lay of with the chicken gods thing for a while. It's getting too obsessive and freaky.

The charm of the Red Sox is that they are in the hunt almost every season, and they almost never exceed the salary cap. They manage to attract excellent players with things other than huge salaries, and are always ready to discard players that only play for big money. It was not a mistake to get rid of Lowe, Martinez, or Garciaparra, since the Sox are a team, and not a collection of huge egos.

That said, I happen to like some of the guys that are currently taking George's money. Bernie is a standup guy, and Hosada is, well, mysterious. But Alex is a [censored] and his true colors showed last post-season when he knocked the ball out of the glove. That was disgraceful. But no use chatting over an ended season, both teams had excellent records given the injury levels. We just got beat by much better teams.

After all, the Angels had Orlando Cabrerra. Now he's a guy I wish the Sox had held onto...

Edit - the best thing about Red Sox fans is that they never ever say "I hate the Red Sox," but we sure do get disappointed sometimes. I still have the hat I was given in 1976 at the first game I attended. Not in great shape, but I'll never retire it.

I swore not to get into another baseball conversation/argument in my life and here I go. I don't hate the Yankess; I'm just soooo dessapointed at all the roockie mistakes we made. I happened to like Boston, Hell I love David and Manny (sometimes Damon). However, that was before I moved to NY and was put down by my aunt's bf, my cousin, and my aunt herself just becuase I happened to like the Yankees unlike them. I agree about Alex; I remember watching the game and being: that's f---ked up. Posada is def one of my favs, and it was soooo sad to watch Bernie leave. I'm not going into the defending the team cuz you'll never stop being a Red Sox fan or change your views about the Yankees, and I won't change mine eithers. Which is one of the reasons I think some debates are pointless.

Don't get me started Salmon. I might hate them right now, but I'll defend them till death. If you wanna talk about a bad team, the Red Sox (85 years without winning) are def at the top of the list. You take out Manny and David, and the whole team falls apart. Yes we have bad pitching and not a good year, but we are sooooo a good team.

Okay, How much did it suck the Yankees loss???. It was the most depressing game of my life. I wanted to hit Sheffield and Krosby on the face when they knock over each other (if you can call it that). And I have never hated A-Rod so much as I did after that double play.
It's not like I'm a Yankee fan because I live in New York. I've always been, and the one thing I was excited about living in the Bronx was being so closed to the Yankee Stadium, every year I have that little hope of watching the parade and those idiots just keep losing and losing. God, I don't even wanna talk about it, I get soooo mad.

But Anyways, If I must choose between the remaining teams, I'd like the White Sox to win. Yeah the Angels have more Dominican players and I like Vladimir and all but they beat the Yankees so I'm obligated to hate them.

In case you were all wondering. New Amsterdam was taken from the Dutch in 1664, and King Charles II (king of England) decided to give the state to his brother the Duke of York, who decided to honor the state with his name. And people thought you didn't learn anything from taking DNY class.

Edit: I vote yes, it's just a word. Besides, how many of us do actually use it?
