Unlockable Drackon Story!! in Geneforge 4: Rebellion

Ok, so I'm not big on the whole playable Drakon thing... but I am a huge fan of unlockables, which you don't really see in The Geneforge series.

I think you should earn something for beating the game that you can use in your next play-through.

Download the editor for G4. you can shape golems, unbound, and little monarchs.

I still prefer eyebeasts. Magnificent creatures.

Jeff,

I have no recommendations, requests, advice, or demands. Just make your game.

Given how good G4 was, I'm sure this will be the best game ever. I await it's release in excited anticipation.

I dearly love your video-game-making skills. Keep on keepin' on, dude.

Still it should be put in the next artifacts hall if only for posterity. then again, that would mean the community recognizes undead valley as an actual scenario. SO never mind.

^ i really am not a fan of the new item getting/equipping window. I thought the old way was much more efficient. plus I find myself losing important items when i unequip them, because i seem to instinctively want to put them to the right side of the screen, like in the old one, which in this game is "the ground". bah!

I noticed that when i grab the wand of inferno in the mines on the first island and put it in my weapon slot, even if my default attack is on firebolt, it still uses the wand. any one else experienced this? :(

I really hope this is the last anticipation thread. I'm asuming the game is going to be realeased tomorrow, but even if it isn't this thread can apply to the next day.

EDIT: Stupid thing deleted. But at least I was right about it being the last anticipation thread. not counting pc users.

I'm 99% sure this is going to be the opening music for GF3.

EDIT: crap, nevermind, they don't allow direct linking. Suffice to say, it was that Papa Roach hit song.

joke = ruined.

Note about karma: Voting 5 for Demonslayer or Drakefyre or Stareye doesn't get you any brownie points. It very much should (dammit), but it doesn't.

EDIT: Whoa, I just realized I have a 1-star rating in karma. IF it was for posting in this thread, than I'm impressed. Oh well, this IS my evil account. My 'moderate' account has 4-stars still I think.

nay, i say!

You love your hamster inappropriately? :P

Sorry I couldn't resist, I know you didn't mean it that way

What other way could I have meant it?

no, no. see, what you do is work in teams of say 8-12, and each of you do one town or an outdoors or something. And then put them together and see if the story makes sense.

Dammit, you see I pull a 12 hour shift at work, and I miss a whole page of assumptions about me. To assure those nay-sayers in the group, i have indeed hit puberty. If I wasn't graduating from college in about a month, then I might have agreed with you about the "late bloomer" theory.

Seriously though, making it through first year of university with no sex scared me into thinking i was a wannabe catholic. just without all the jesus-loving.

Oh and to continue with the discussion concurrently in progress, Prostitution is illegal in Canada. But if you're ever in Toronto and want to head over to the Red Light District, its called "Jarvis Street".

Actually i just think its disgusting, but that's an argument for another day. But yes, I am a he. And having an uptight, anti-sex president is still probably more likely than having a female president, sadly.

how about this. take your idea, but make it a 24-design challenge. get the idea then design as much as you can in 24 hours and release it. now that would be funny.

the real question is, why is it legal to sell things you can get for free. Consider this example:

Prostitution = illegal. You can get it for free but paying for it is against the law.

Pirated Software = illegal. You can buy it, but its illegal to download it for free.

food for thought.

I pretty much agree with what's been said about ambient sounds over music score, however, I do sometimes like to crank my iTunes while playing.

sidenote: no Jamie Foxx wasn't nominated for best supporting, but he damn well should have been.

Unfortunately, the oscars are quite meaningless. in my opinion nothin in 2004 even came close to touching Eternal Sunshine. Michel Gondry and Michael Mann were really the only people that deserved to be in competition. But they werent, and why?

Because the oscars arent decided by people watching all the movies and deciding which one was best. its more like an election. clint eastwood pumps millinos of dollars into a heavy heavy oscar campaign. All best picture nominees do. If you don't campaign, you 99% of the time will never get graced with a nomination. So for directors or studios that dont want to commit to an oscar campaign, you'll never see it on red carpet night. You wont even hear about it.

The Oscars really only come down to a big expensive celebrrity fashion show and thats it.

Although as a side note, i'm quite pleased that kid from Sheridan College (in Toronto, the place i reside) won an oscar for best animated short. But those awards arent in the same league as the main ones.

and also the only people really, really deserving of winning an oscar in this elaborate political game, is the award for Production Design, probably the most underrated, and most essentia dept. in filmmaking. Just as, if not more important than directing. And I say this as a director.

But blah blah blah, nobody cares. the end.
