The local shop. :P To people posting links: I would be careful. Some of this might border on advertising. But a reccomendation: Try buying one of those discs with heaps of games piled in. That's where many of us found SpiderWeb. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

Rock ftw. It's good to see that you "lumped" sub-genres together - that way, it is more generic, and easier to get a rough idea on the music people like. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

OOC: Oh, yes, a closing post. Short and sharp. IC: Riner had made the final preperations for the war, and was leading the 1000-or-so soldiers out of Solaria when a lone rider emerged on the horizon. As the rider got closer, he saw that he had a flag that bore the Righteous Return's symbol on it, as well as a white flag. Once within arrow-range, he stopped, to show his good faith. But Riner didn't regard that; he simply strode boldly over to him - a stupid mistake. The last words that Riner ever spoke were, "Greetings, good man. What --" OOC: Drakey, make of that what you will. I'm not participating in the RP anymore, so don't fear any repercussions from it. :P -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

I'm out too, with the same reasons as Thralni. But it doesn't matter; most of the action is taking place in Valorim anyway. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

Welcome back. The Avernum series is supposedly good - up until Avernum 4. I have not played the series, so don't take my word for it. :P Avernum is a revmamped Exile, so it might not be the best choice if you are looking for something new. Nethergate would require more thinking, and Geneforge is a classic Hack 'n' Slash. People who have actually played all the games could tell you more. :P -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

I speak Austrlian-English natively. I took French at school (only because it was compulsory), but have forgotten it. Also, listening to Rammstein has taught me a couple of German words. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

I look forward to the unlocking (or no locking at all) of future topics. -- Oh, and I just made that topic up. EDIT: Also, Alorael is also a partial anagram for 'areola'. quote:And a continuation from that one... The next day, Tarzan went out to hunt for the evening meal and speared a boa constrictor. When he went to inspect his catch, he found the spear had also gone through one of the small tribesmen who lived in the area. When he presented his catch to Jane, she complained: "Not snake and pigmy pie again." -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

Jane had not had a good day in the jungle. All she could find for Tarzan's dinner was a small bird and two monkeys. Trazan came home after a hard day fighting the bad guys and asked: "What's to eat?" Jane said: "Look in the pot." Trazan lifted the lid and cried : "Oh no! Not finch and chimps again!"
