I voted for Nethergate, even though it isn't really a series.

I have my own complaints but suicide, especially of this variety, won't solve them...

God is a psychopath.

That or all the really religious people want to let out their inner psychopath.

Think about this: way back in the 300s or 400s, the Council of Nicaea (or Nicea) got together and decided that the Bible would have certain books, and would not have other books. They did this in order to propagate their own version of Christianity and to suppress as many other versions as they could.

At best the bibles (old test., new, quran et al) are written by men who had heard something and then went and misinterpreted it.

No, no D&D. Yes, I (not play, but instead collect) GURPS. No, no Rifts.

I have instead chosen to dedicate my life to Traveller!

And yes, I have a life, because you want me to indicate that I don't.

I vote "Urquhart." My vote is neither "yes" or "No," simply "Urquhart."

I just tried the BoA game, and it did things to my computer.

I really wish he'd chosen to go with the Avernum Three engine...

I would hope that he uses something similar to the A3 engine; the A4 and BoA games were buggy on my computer.

Other than that, I don't care that much, unless I'm getting a free copy for owning the original version.

For the record, I'm in the USA, but no political structure is immune to outside influences. So "us" and "our" includes the whole damn rest of the world.

For the record. (You're right, though - so many more reasons to disapprove of Libertarianism than the ones I know about!)

I don't think that Liberterianism can work, given our current population, technology and communication ability.

That said, certain elements sound good, but I doubt that the philosophy takes into account human sociability and aggresiveness.

To ask one's own questions (keep in mind that I had the hint book, but had it thrown out on me):

Where does one get all six pieces of the "key" in Lost Basshikva?

Also, where does one find the six pieces of crystal for the Crystal Cave?

If you'd read the original thread, Jeff stated that he would be using the Nethergate engine, I believe.

And if you'd read my post, you'd realize that I don't want him to make any form of Nethergate which uses the Geneforge game engine.

I don't have a top ten, but I'll listen to:

Anything by Yello except To The Sea;
Anything by Led Zeppeling except Black Dog;
Bizet's Carmen Suite;
Almost anything that's on the radio stations I like, which includes classical, 70s rock and 80s rock.

My computer didn't like BoA or A4; it would refuse to shut down if I played them. So I doubt I'll buy the updated version of Nethergate.

Too bad, though, because it sounds interesting.
