Sure you can return to Annwn, when you die. You can't leave again because you don't have the crown or permission. The three artifact missions and for the Celts when they raid the Roman fort are the only cases where you can't go back if you miss something. I tried to transfer some loot to an area where you can access it after you complete your mission. It gives me a little extra spending money. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I bought Nethergate a while back but registered it and had it sent to Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. What can I do if I lost the e-mail and registration details? I'd love to revisit Nethergate. -------------------- "I am tainted, and happiness, and peace of mind, were never meant for me..." - Nine Inch Nails - And All That Could Have Been nothingxs Posts: 5 | Registered: Friday, November 2 2001 08:00 |

The old theme currently looks like it's in. And so does another old theme. —Alorael, who honestly would rather not get new music when the old Nethergate music is so perfect. The only improvement he'd want is a full-length version. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

I'm very interested in helping out with the Beta on this one, as well. I've never actually played the original Nethergate, but I've played the demo. :) Did I miss anything regarding a beta request sign up? Posts: 1 | Registered: Friday, December 29 2006 08:00 |

quote:I'll miss level-less skill points. Also, a blasphemous thought: If it is possible to adapt the BoA engine to the point where it uses a different set of spells and skills, could that form of the engine ever be released to the public? Also, "Nethergate: Resurrection" - what happened to giving remakes dramatic names derived from Latin? "Inferusporta"? :P -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Um, the Latin for "resurrection" is "resurrectio." :P -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. I still don't think Jeff has the game balance quite right for a Nethergate version of BoA/A3 game engine. The first version was way too powerful for the players. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I just tried the BoA game, and it did things to my computer. I really wish he'd chosen to go with the Avernum Three engine... -------------------- Reports of my demise are extremely accurate. And I AM the clone Posts: 102 | Registered: Wednesday, January 12 2005 08:00 |

You don't get the skill points as often under A3/BoA system. Early in the game this means waiting for them when they could be helpful for weapon skills. However BoA means that you can train in any town instead of waiting to get back to home base. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I'd love to see Jeff do an online MMORPG version of this game (or any of the others, for that matter) Posts: 11 | Registered: Saturday, March 24 2007 07:00 |

Nethergate is for the most part, dead. Nethergate Resurrection sounds cool, but it will probably be a flop. Sorry isjoeythere, but a Spidweb MMORPG isn't practical, especially Nethergate. -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

I'm absolutely gonna buy this :D Since it uses the BoA engine, and it is going to be a Universal Binary... does this also mean BoA is going to be a universal binary sometime soon too? :D (And A3? Oh pletty pleeease?) I remember how excited I was when I tried the original Nethergate for the first time... the engine blew me away. It'll be nice to reminisce in an even better engine. BoA is already a universal binary. Jeff claims he has never noticed problems running the Avernum trilogy using Rosetta, even though many of us have mentioned it, so universal versions of A1-3 are doubtful. -------------------- "It's sort of like Star Wars.
