Hi all, I have a question: playing as a Celt, and knowing that I cannot get remotely close to Shadow Valley Fort, how the heck do I get the stones that are there in the abondoned mine inside the vicinity of the fort? Any clues,,,,possibly a hint? -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

I for one agree that with the upgrade for newer computers, and I have one, that I can now play this version of N:R much better and it plays smoother, so I guess I am an imbecile, yay, me!!! -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

Hi All, Well, I installed the windows version demo 2 nights ago and I'm having 0 problems, hurray!!! Love the new graphics, dialogues and graphic icons, since I can't register yet, only stuck with demo, but I plan to, since I got the original NetherGate years ago. Does it matter that it was purchased under my maiden name, I married now, wasn't when I bought it. Anyhoo, thanks Jeff, it's great!!! :D  -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

I also am waiting for the windows version as well, what I'm wondering is if it can be ordered in advance even with the update option or should I wait for the actual release and when, if anyone should know, will that actually be, like a month or so? Thanks! -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

 Well, for me it started way back in the days when the Exile series was just getting started. I happened to surf onto Spiderweb software while searching for shareware game on an old search engine called softseek.com, it's no longer around. I downloaded the Exile demo and have been hooked ever since, I own or used to own; the Exile Series, Blades of Exile, Nethergate(which I still play), Blades of Avernum, most of the Avernum Series and currently Avernum 4. -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

I am so excited about this; love the name "Nethergate:Resurrection", fits with the upgrade. I would definitely pay for this, although I do hope to registration will be the way to go, I have the cd and I would rather do the registration key thing with a backup. I will be waiting patiently, Jeff! :D :) -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

Hey All, I have to say with all certainty, yes, I myself have eaten things that would make some people cringe, but that was in my teen and early twenties,(showing my age a bit here); but that has to be the most disgusting thing I've ever seen and I used to like Hungry Man dinners at one time, but oh boy, that one takes the taco!!! My only vice in my youth was when I was feeling low in my insecurities I would buy a Sarah Lee French Strawberry Cheesecake and eat it half frozen with a tub of thawed Cool-Whip on top, THE WHOLE THING! But like I say, I was in my youth at the time, I eat a lot better now, have to. :P -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

To all of you out there, In general, I want to apologize for posting questions in too many boards relating to the same question, by the same token; I don't appreciate anyone making fun of someone's need to know something. I may not post anymore on these boards just for that one fact. I thought it was supposed to be light conversation, again, sorry! -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

This would be the best news of my life! I would love to see all the improvements and relish any new styles or dialogue. Of all the Spiderweb games I have played, Nethergate and A4 rank the highest in that order! Thanx Jeff! ;) -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

Well, to explain my system better in order to help Kel, and Thuryl: I am running Windows 98, not under low memory, have DirectX 9.0 and though I do have an older system, I have also been able to play Druids Of Krell,Cave of No Return and Crescent Valley with no problems whatsoever. But I still need some help with these exception errors. I do thank Kel and Thuryl for trying to help. :o -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

I am most definitely in favor of Nethergate, the reason being is that it tell a story that is significant in history; as I am a Celt myself. Plus, it is a very large game that you can always find entertaining whether you play Romans or Celts. :D -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

I have always been an avid Nethergate player, but there is always room for improvement, in my opinion, for face- :D lifts and upgrades. How many people think that Nethergate at some point eventually, should also be given an upgrade of face-lift? Poll Information This poll contains 1 question(s). 42 user(s) have voted. I am playing Basshikava now, and am in the area north of the guardpost where the mountain of the dragon is located. I am currently in the undead area. I get numerous unhandled exception errors when I enter the room with the miniature town and the room south of it, not to mention other assorted exception errors throughout the game. The error message is: BLADES OF AVERNUM CAUSED AN EXCEPTION ERROR IN MODULE BLADES OF AVERNUM.EXE. What could cause this to occur so many times? I have the 1.0.7 version of this game, what should I do, where should I go for a game fix for this, and how do I fix it? Please help!!! -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |

I have a small problem when getting to the end of this game; I am in Klortis' chamber and my party has flown up to his aerie, well, the game stops responding at this point and the game screen goes black. What causes this? How do I get past this. All the scenes leading up to this are cutscenes and I have no control over my party. Help please! Well, I have read all the previous posts regarding this error; yes, I too am a windows user. But as Ephesos said, he has version 2. Why can't I find it on the scenarios tables and when can I hope to see it listed? :( [ Saturday, July 16, 2005 16:32: Message edited by: Morgaine64 ] -------------------- Blessed Be, Morgaine Posts: 23 | Registered: Thursday, July 14 2005 07:00 |
