Nioca! You're ruining the beauty of Dikiyoba's minor victory. :P And it's been two months, actually.

That wasn't my intention...

I tried to think of something witty to put here.

Needless to say, I failed.

Not really. If you think about it, this is connected to the topic. Just very, very loosely. :D

I may have been here only two months, but I have heard at least two lifetimes worth of BS since my arrival.

It is encouraging to hear that you listen to yourself. :P

Yes, but I didn't have any desire to use it at the moment. :P

Oh, and to make Lenny happy, I think Libertarianism might be good if some of the kinks were worked out.

I like it better when you insult people with witty remarks. This one was pretty lame. Do better.

I'm not denying my contribution to the BS. However, it should be noted that there are two types of BS. There is the political/economic/social ranting BS I engage in, and then there is pointless-jibber-jabber-verging-on-spam BS, which is what you seem to prefer, Salmon. Meh, to each his own.

Well, in the future, be aware that :P usually means that people are joking. And that I joke a lot.

Except about carnivorous blueberry pancakes from alternate dimensions. Dikiyoba would never joke about those.

Wait, now I'm confused. Are you joking about that, or are you being serious?

That depends. Are you the sort of person who will wake up screaming "THEY'RE OUT TO GET ME!!!" in the middle of the night and then proceed to lock yourself into a bomb shelter with three weeks worth of canned food, bottled water, and a loaded shotgun?

Because if you're not, you're fine. But if you are, you might want to run away (Quick!) before you realize you have implants and that Galactic Core 2 is coming, or before you learn the true horror behind the words Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!, or before you realize that the average number of conspiracies, evil plots, and plans for world domination that are secretly discussed every day cannot be counted on your fingers. And if you are truly faint of heart or stomach (or a vegetarian), you might not even want to ponder the inner workings of the Church of the Nine-Headed Cave Cow.

Dikiyoba thinks you should fear everyone and everything just in case. Yes, even this :P . Just look at it. You can tell it's secretly plotting against you.

I can, at times, be paranoid. But I'm not THAT paranoid.

In reading those last posts in rapid succession made me think of two rednecks yelling quickly and frantically at each other. And to be clear, I'm not joking.

It may be premature, but just in case IBTL.

I don't think that Liberterianism can work, given our current population, technology and communication ability.

That said, certain elements sound good, but I doubt that the philosophy takes into account human sociability and aggresiveness.

Wait... I don't get it. Why would those three things limit the effectiveness of libertarianism?

I mean, there's many more reasons to disapprove of it than sheer practicality. :P

(And for the record, when you say "us" or "our", please clarify what country you mean.)

Because even in theory, unregulated markets only produce optimal results when everybody has perfect information about everyone else they transact with.

For the record, I'm in the USA, but no political structure is immune to outside influences. So "us" and "our" includes the whole damn rest of the world.

For the record. (You're right, though - so many more reasons to disapprove of Libertarianism than the ones I know about!)
