I doubt they'd make a headon fight anyway. They are powerful, but I don't think they're that dumb to fight in an environment they aren't comfortable with, as well as they don't have strength in numbers. (I know, I keep bringing up that point :P )But, say they did win, they'd sustain heavy losses.

Wait, I just had a thought. If they thought chitrachs were hard, then they're in for a battle! Besides, plagues were a much smarter choice. Its methodical, the victims wouldn't know who did it, and they could retain their numbers.

Anyway, back to the subject. Me myself and I, I didnt really see anything you said that would be helpful. Maybe instead of creating a seperate topic, you could've added on to the previous topic. :)

I'd say, Jeff could add a servile character. In a sense, that is truly something I think Jeff can consider. Its different, but can work. Of course, the servile will have many disadvantages, but maybe could have a rogue shaper teach the servile spells. :) And, I'm always up for the challenge. :)

Role Play. Its like a posted adventure, where you each make up characters and have dialogue and stuff. In previous RPs ive done, it was a lot of fun. :)

I hear ya. In fact, I think that the only reason Jeff limited the character types to 3 is because all the dialogue would take too long if there were a whole bunch of different creature to choose from. I mean, there were evil nephilim and sliths during the game, as well as humans. He probably could have added a vahnatai towards boa, which would've rocked.

Adding on to the vahnatai pc thing, it'd be cool to have the vahnatai start out with capture soul/simacrulum and have vahnatai lore. Extra bonuses like that.

Sorry if I'm wrong, since I dont currently have Geneforge on this computer and haven't played it in awhile, as i mentioned before, but I believe their stats all go up by one because of the skill points they gain. Hope that helps. :)

I live by the Rocky Mountains. :) It's ok, gets cold every now and then by wintertime and spring, but better than new york and las angeles. :)

Well, that's because when you made your original fyoras, they weren't made with the improved fire shaping. Sadly enough, when you increase your traits, it doesn't increase the traits of your creations. Bummer, isn't it. :( I kind of forgot how the game works since I haven't played it in awhile, but each creation has skill points to spend when leveling up, and they gain health and sp. However, if you create a new creature, it doesn't gain previously gained exp in the game. Hope that helps. :)

However, I've noticed that many of the topics i've made have been filled with cough*spam*cough. :D Wiseman does have a point.(I guess thats why hes wise :P )Don't post anything useless. You're just taking up space, and it's horribly annoying.

I would have to agree with FatBatMonkey. Take all the jobs you can get, they don't take up too much time. Also, I would advise buying a set of horses, because they help traveling quicker.

One more thing I can add is get the manna spell and use it. I can't help you on the location of it(I think its in pergies), but not guaranteed as I havent played the game in a long while. It can help you alot in paying for food.

Ohhh, sorry guys. I just thought I remembered something from BOE that the vahnatai in the cave in the first scenario says they can't go to the surface. My mind isnt the best at remembering. :) Thanks for clearing it up though.

I mean, theres really no point in recreating the avernum 2 war, is there? It would be a nice change to see the entirety of humans vs the vahnatai, and experience the outcome. Or maybe, in the end you can choose whether to help the vahnatai or empire. That would be cool.

You must've used the editor. I guess that's the only way to get them, cause if you try and board them, you can't. I think the revert boats/horses function or whatever it is gives you all the horses and boats for free. But I was looking to a noncheating solution. :(

Another thing I can add on to that is cursed items are generally hard to identify yourself. By this i mean even if you have a high amount of item lore, you probably won't be able to identify what the object is. My advice: If you see something and aren't sure what it is, try it on, then if it doesnt come off reload the game.

For example, silverlocke in upper avernum sells potions. She even sells knowledge potions, increasing your skill points, which can be very helpful during the game getting those extra points. However, you need a certain reputation to buy them from her or else she says something like i sell potions to the real adventurers or something like that.

It would be kind of cool to have a totally different dialogue based on your reputation, though. Maybe that's something that can be suggested for Jeff's later games, although it would take much more time to develop.

As I said before, the empire technically has the advantage in numbers, and mainly because the vahnatai can't go to the surface. If the avernites helped the empire, the vahnatai would be slaughtered. If the avernites helped the vahnatai, the same thing would happen as a2. Therefore, I would say, A4 would be about the humans vs the vahnatai! :)
