quote:1 pound = 0.4535924 Kg So you're around 90Kg. I guess 6 feet equals to around 1,83m (curiously, my height). I weight around 80 Kg (176 pounds), the perfect weight would be 75 Kg (165 pounds). Moral of the story: you have a normal weight, but very close to excessive weight (and still far from obese types I, II and III). Of course, the math behind these calculations don't have in consideration the difference between a muscular and a fat 90Kg. Muscles are heavier than fat, btw. So you could have not an ounce of fat in your body, but still have that "fatass" score. ;) -------------------- Visit the Blades of Avernum Center and the Beta Testing Center -------------- "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ." Different people have different tastes. Sure young people have better reflexes, but I don't believe someone less younger will be worse at FPS just because of that. Anyway, although I like certain FPS (Call of Duty, Alien vs Predator, for example ), I don't like other FPS (Doom 3, Halo 1 and 2, for example). So maybe you just didn't pick a FPS that suits your taste. I have good reflexes, but I like more RPGs, turn based strategy/tactical games, etc. Usually, those pc gaming forum enthusiasts are young teenagers, that only want action and don't apreciate more reflexive games (they get bored and loose concentration fast). :D Lol, I know I'm making an awful generalization. :P -------------------- Visit the Blades of Avernum Center and the Beta Testing Center -------------- "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ." First of all, you should try to finish a smaller scenario and not rely on others to finish it for you. If you think you can't finish something in a smaller scale, why do you think you can finish something with such a large scale? I must say that would be an interesting project, but with such a scale, you'll have to face it as work, hard work, not just a little hobby. Anyway, just in case you start the project, you can use the Beta Testing Center. See my signature. -------------------- Visit the Blades of Avernum Center and the Beta Testing Center -------------- "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ." Here's my result: You scored as Christianity. Your views are most similar to those of Christianity. Do more research on Christianity and possibly consider being baptized and accepting Jesus, if you aren't already Christian. Christianity is the second of the Abrahamic faiths; it follows Judaism and is followed by Islam. It differs in its belief of Jesus, as not a prophet nor historical figure, but as God in human form. The Holy Trinity is the concept that God takes three forms: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost (sometimes called Holy Spirit). Jesus taught the idea of instead of seeking revenge, one should love his or her neighbors and enemies. Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross to save humankind and forgive people's sins. Christianity 83% Judaism 58% Buddhism 50% Islam 50% Paganism 29% Hinduism 21% atheism 17% agnosticism 17% Satanism 8% (heh... where did those 8% come from?! :P ) -------------------- Visit the Blades of Avernum Center and the Beta Testing Center -------------- "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ." I don't subscribe magazines, but I buy regularly: Computer Music (UK) BGamer/MegaScore (PT) (whichever is more appealing that month, as they are concurrent magazines) National Geographic Magazine (PT edition) and... sometimes... FHM (PT). -------------------- Visit the Blades of Avernum Center and the Beta Testing Center -------------- "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ." Here's a pic of me. Bad quality and when I was 30 hours without sleep. Not a pretty sight. I'll see if I'll take a new pic of me (it's about time to do so, anyway). Edit- t Dolphin: I know, but the glasses, eyes, nose and mouth made me remeber the character. And hey! It's a cartoon, some facial features are exagerated. ;) BTW, Dr. Ido was one of my favourite characters in that story, so it was a compliment, Aran. :) [ Sunday, July 24, 2005 05:15: Message edited by: Overwhelming ] -------------------- Visit the Blades of Avernum Center and the Beta Testing Center -------------- "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ." Is there any physics equation where the time line can be reversed? I don't think so. Is time linked to entropy? I don't think so (i'll explain ahead). If Big Bang existed, then we have to agree that was a point in time where entropy was a minimum. But that doesn't mean that time didn't exist or stoped. You could stare to that dot in space for 5 seconds, and that's elapsed time. Although there's lot of equations that use time, time is an abstract notion, not a physical event, so it can't be changed or manipulated, because time, in a certain way, doesn't exist, it's just an abstract notion. (I don't know if I'm being clear about what I mean). quote:Although it's true that there is a tendency for entropy, entropy doesn't quite equate to disorder. I know its definition and I know that what i'm saying seems to go directly agains't that definition, but even disorder leads to order (complex, organized and ordered systems (like life beings) were formed and better organized through time, for example). Also, scientists think that the Universe can come from Big Ban to Big Ban: that is, although time is unidirectional, that doesn't mean entropy must be unidirectional as well, linked to time. So no, time doesn't need to be reversed to reverse entropy (or, to be more correct, reverse entropy's original effect). Linking this with the fact that time doesn't physically exist (it's an abstraction), there's no way we could have future memmories. Of course, some could argue about prophets and their future memmories... ;) Some can just play with probabilities, others can be charlatans, others can be guided by God, who can defy His own Laws (or use them in ways we can even understand), etc. But in a scientific point of view, there can't be future memmories, because they are an impossibility, defying our today's logic. quote:We don't use only 10% of the brain. All brain is used. Now, people say that we only use 10% of its potential. Some people say that Jesus used 100% of his brain potential, being able to do what he did. He was perfect. So that's why He said that anyone could do the same as He, if that person had faith enough (to be perfect as Him).
