I'm just saying that practically all the essentials of being a Christian are layed out in the Bible, and you don't need to add on from elsewhere. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I only read them on the bus to and from school, getting them from the school library, but I enjoy them immensely, and I still have a few more to go. There's a couple I'll have to get elsewhere, though. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Actually, 1 member would be fun. Jeff could keep BoA and then implement the new engine in to a BoA editor version 2. But then the original BoA would be a waste of money (or more so, anyway). Hmmm, whatever. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I'm really not saying that there is no similarity between Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. There is. That said, any religion not following the teachings of the Bible and inventing their own little version, such as the Koran, is human-invented and not acceptable to Christians. True good translations of the Bible generally make what it is trying to say easier to understand by a certain group of people but do not purposely alter the main points presented. Jesus was not just a prophet, but God in the human form. Mohammed was the guy who decided to make his own Bible and therefore his new religion. Therefore, Jesus is God and God's Son at the same time. As already mentions, there is two elements of the Trinity. Praying to saints is outrageous. They can't help you. What's so hard about just praying to God himself? That's one reason why Jesus died on the cross. God will be happy for your prayers. Davida, I'm not sure about being able to access my E-mail from here, being away from home, but I'll try here. EDIT: Got your message and replied. But I imagine a bigger percentage of those downloaders that actually take time to play the game for a while register. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

It looks like to me that since 4 candidtates are fairly close together in votes and everyone else is essentially out of the running, we should extend the final election quota to 4 and then everyone should really have someone they'd like to vote for, including TM. ^___^ Oh, and TM, even though you're not too fond of me, I'd still like to give you a welcome back, though I have no votes to transfer. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Actually, I am of the disposition that God is the true God and Allah is a clever form of the Devil causing Muslims to think they're worshipping God himself. You can't just say that the Koran is a revision of the Bible. The Bible has no revision, barring the differences in translations, but even there the main points aren't significantly altered. Now I agree that Islam and Christianity have some similar characteristics, most notably both being monotheistic and both going off of the teachings of a "prophet," but they differ in that the Gods they worship are different. And I'm not going to deny the existance of this "Allah" because I think Allah is the Devil and the Devil's purpose has always been to overtake God. Though he never will overtake God, he will win the souls of the people who choose to reject God. Also remember that the Devil is a liar, so whatever he tells his people he'll do for them isn't necessarily what will happen. I think I'll end this rant for now, and I'm sure you'll beg to disagree on much of this, but no matter what you tell me, I'm not about to turn myself into a antireligious atheist. After all, with that mentality, the only reason you exist is, well, I guess there is no reason. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Well, whatever the meaning, the "Allah" the Muslims worship is definately not the same as God which we Christians worship. I mean, there's different religious texts, different religious traditions, and just a different religion. What I meant was that the Islam Allah != the Christian God. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Same principles. Yeah right. Islam is not hardly even similar to Christianity. And Allah != God. [ Friday, July 08, 2005 13:38: Message edited by: Mister Maoben ] -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Wow, I'll tell ya, that's about the longest and most interesting way to ask a simple question I've seen in a while. :P First of all, don't believe anything we say. No one knows about the inner working of Jeff's operation, anything at all about the mysterious Richard White, not much about the use of Mariann Kriszan and Linda Strout's contributions to the games themselves, if any, or how to get Jeff to work on the BoE scenario tables. But according to common supposed knowledge, Jeff programs the games, pretty much all by himself, and his wife Mariann and Linda help out with various tasks. When Jeff refers to "us," he means all three and just Spiderweb Software as a company. As far as we know, he does not have anything close to an array of programmers, explaining much why the games don't have flashy true-3D environments, complex animations, and top popularity at WalMart. But the game storylines much outweigh these things. Oh, and hi, I'm ben. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Right. I understand that the real Muslim ideology does not encourage this kind of action, but obviously something is inspiring these terrorists to do what they're doing, and the terrorists are pretty much all Muslim of some sort or the other. Maybe twisted Muslim, but still Muslim. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Would Jeff really lie about something like this? For the little money he gets from RW's games? Richard has obviously abandoned his gamemaking business, so maybe he's working at McDonald's now, his hoped of shareware development crushed by the lack of game registrations. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
