This computer I'm on now, I think we bought in 2001, but it still works for what we work it for. 1.5GHz, 384MB RAM, 40GB Hard Drive, Integrated Graphics (arguably the worst part :/), and a 17" CRT. It came with 128MB of RAM, but it became understandable necessary for an upgrade, probably a couple years ago. My brother got a new laptop a few months back. 1.83GHz Duo, 512MB RAM, 80GB Hard Drive, 256MB ATI X1400 Graphics (games are like fluid in comparison to this one), and a 15.4" screen. It's very nice, but I'm rarely allowed to touch it. :( -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Well, seeing as UBB uses month dd, yyyy, we could all do it in that order. Substitute mm for month if you like. ;) -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

So close. Only 10 from the record. Darn it. No more forgiven and appropriate spam. :( Maybe we should all switch now to UBB.threads, which claims to allow MySQL support. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Descent is pretty darn cool. Expecially at 1024x768 resolution. :P That and Donkey Kong Country, only it didn't last as long. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Spiderweb is my social network. I don't have a MySpace account, though I know a lot of people that do. I've thought about, but never got around to it and am not in a hurry to. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I guess Firefox is worth getting, but I use MSN Explorer, and it satisfies my needs quite nicely. I think it's basically IE with a new interface, but I'm counting on it to be more secure, and so far it's done okay. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I usually start an archer on my party, but he always eventually evolves into a secondary mage (e.g. Slow Group man) as arrows evolve from marginally useful to useless. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

And if you're still clueless as to the roaches' location, the Isle of Bigail can be accessed by ferries from Softport, Farport, or Marish. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

My brother actually tried Homeland recently. It was slow because it was on our machine with a 166MHz processor and 16MB RAM, but it wasn't totally revolting. But then again, it also wasn't worth the disk space. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Nah, PC is still best. It supports everything but Lost Souls and Ocean Bound, though some PC users come to reconsile themselves to taking that loss. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
