Must admit, I do not beleive I have ever found the puzzlebox. But after hearing how everyone is mad because they can not find it's purpose, then, perhaps, not finding it and becoming engrossed in the "crusade", is a good thing. Just my two cents as they say... -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. You christians are far too persecuted nowadays. I mean it. Perhaps it really was a quest at one point, and it was cut for some strange otherwordly reason? When I played Nethergate for the first time I beleived you had to save Pearlblossom from her curse, but then I could never find anything to follow it up. It could be a way for Mr. Vogel to mess with our minds... -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. You christians are far too persecuted nowadays. I mean it. YOU COULD USE AN ANTI-MAGIC FIELD SPELL?!?! I heard Exile had a larger selection of spells, but was told most served no purpose. But if there is an anti-magic spell, then it already sounds great. *I haven't had much of a chance to test Exile yet* -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. I guess I was just trying to explain some plot? It does seem out of place now... oh well. But yeah that Linda women, I knew she was trouble when I first met her. *cough* Anyway I thought Erika only came down with two other people, then again it has been awhile. I need to check on that. -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. You christians are far too persecuted nowadays. I mean it. IF, I recall correctly Lady Erika, X, and Solberg (or Patrick?), get involved in a political war within the Empire's Mage Guild to gain the favor of Hawthorn. Garazed (sp), and a few others won though and had them banished to Avernum, and since Garazed feared Erika (he should), he got the "sun curse" placed on her? Also I thought Erika was involved in the battle with Gra-Hoth (sp, again), was it not a large battle with many mages and warriors to rid Avernum of demons, sum 50 years ago? Not that Lady Erika needs help to defeat demons.. I don't beleive I am to far off, but if I am, it's a truly sad day for me. -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. I got into this shareware only two years ago and started playing Avernum 1, at first I did not like the games but they grew and I came to love them. Later I discovered that they are, if you will, "remakes" of the Exile series. My question is, are they different enough to buy, or are there parts to the story that are explained in Exile and not Avernum? Add: I'm asking about Exile not Avernum. -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. You christians are far too persecuted nowadays. I mean it. I read half-way through the posts and got lost. >< So this is basically a character editor for Geneforge? In any case I need to play this again, it's been awhile. -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. You christians are far too persecuted nowadays. I mean it. A character battle of sorts? I'm not really sure if it would work with a trilogy like Avernum, but I just would like to see out of the few characters with some importance, who would you like the most? If you don't know who my vote would go for then you don't know me at all, or you can't read. But I'll say it anyway, Erika Redmark, the coolest mage to have ever graced the gaming world. IMO Sooooo, what about you? -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. You christians are far too persecuted nowadays. I mean it. Gotta love Lorelei, I spent a great deal of time there throughout the game. While I don't like all the crowding I love all the shops and of course Hawke's Mansion. It is hard to smuggle all my skribbane in there though... -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. You christians are far too persecuted nowadays. I mean it. Comparing gays to diets? I am sorry, but thats really not a good argument. Look I can tell God means nothing to you. FINE. Part of being human is the choice to do what you want, whether it be right or wrong. In the end, believe me or not, all will be judged for thier actions. Good, or terribly bad. EDIT: Honestly, you need to see what you have closed yourself off from, you may be surprised at what it might accomplish. Also, your blasphemy is grounded in little or no faith. Ye of little faith. Soddom and Gomorra, is a good example, destroyed for all the horrible sins that took place there. Though I can tell the Bible is nothing more then paper to you, it is still true, and I will happily take that to my grave. -------------------- The only use of fancy titles is to draw attention away from one's lack of power.- Erika Redmark *Erika fan currently in exile for ignorance* Posts: 135 | Registered: Tuesday, June 22 2004 07:00 |

Willful ignorance? Religion is created by man, on there belief that there holy book says this and that. I am not very intelligent, but after seeing what God can do, I need no further proof of his exsistence. Also if you know anything about God you will know there is a reason why he created the flawed being we call man. Please take your willfull ignorance else where, it will get you nowhere with me. EDIT: And for someone who lives in America, you truly are ignoring Gods blessing on your country. Look at the rest of the world, including the Middle East. You are a very lucky person. Yes I know that but I was told to sell it to a mage in the end. If that is not it's purpose, then is it simply to get you sidetracked? -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. After reading more of this topic, I am digusted! How dare we, the created, judge the creator. Humans are flawed, as they were meant to be. So how could a flawed being create what is wrong and what is not? God is perfection, and what is flawed can not understand what is not flawed. God is god, we will never fully understand him, that is why God will seem like a silly or stupid thing to you. -------------------- The only use of fancy titles is to draw attention away from one's lack of power.- Erika Redmark *Erika fan currently in exile for ignorance* Posts: 135 | Registered: Tuesday, June 22 2004 07:00 |

*A creator who should not judge? Being gay is part of genetics? Seperation? God will be judged? We are all a little bi?* The world has strayed far from God, which mearly means we are closer to the endtimes. I am sorry to all I offend, but being, "that way" is wrong. I am not telling you what to do, but regardless, you will be judged for your actions in the end, right or wrong. -------------------- The only use of fancy titles is to draw attention away from one's lack of power.- Erika Redmark *Erika fan currently in exile for ignorance* Posts: 135 | Registered: Tuesday, June 22 2004 07:00 |

I like all of Mr. Vogel's games, but Avernum3 is still my favorite. Perhaps the reason behind that is because it is the first game I played. -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right. It was a mistake just to clarify that... On the other hand, I will try to come up with a topic. Of course the best way to do that is play the game again! -------------------- "Yeah-- you're right.
