I think it's because the name seems somewhat German in nature at first sight, so it inspires a Germanic-sounding pronunciation. If the name is split in half, however, treating "Stug" and "Half" as separate words, the correct pronunciation becomes more apparent. What's the nature of this supposed accent I possess? Not much time has elapsed since the last one, but we have a lot of new faces around here, and it stands to reason that these faces be properly introduced. So, to lead things off, here I am in a photo taken at a party I attended in May, back in the days of the goatee and before the current era of the mutton chops.
