Chess Champion I'm not going to insult you all by telling which one is me. And I'm not going to humiliate myself by telling you which one is the chess champion. This picture was taken at my house over a year ago. All that "junk" in the background are "antiques." My parents seem to be rather keen on them. Me, on the other hand—I don't care much for furniture unless you can sit on it without fear of breaking it. Sitting down just about anywhere in this house makes me nervous. The reason why there are so many of them is simple—years and years ago, we moved halfway across the country to California where the state motto is "Twice the price for half the house." That cute kitty-cat is named Alice. She's stark-raving mad, but one of the most adorable and cuddly creatures ever to grace the face of this miserable world of ours. Domesticated This was taken at my grandmother's house a couple of years ago. The Pomerian is one of her dogs, named Tiger. Guess which one of us has been properly domesticated and house-trained. (Hint: The facial expressions are a dead give-away.) -------------------- The A.E. van Vogt Information Site My Tribute to the Greatest Writer of the Science Fiction Golden Age Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |

Define "creepy." Do you mean "diabolical" creepy or "mad scientist" creepy? "I am the Master! And YOU WILL OBEY ME!!!" It's not a creepy beard, it just makes you look like a Chasid. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy desperance.net - We're Everywhere ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! Yea, sorry about the pic not really showing me at all but it's the only picture of me on the internet. Whats a good and free site for me to put a picture on, because I do have some which were taken in California on this computer. Edit: Spring - I actually felt fine in the morning. I have never had a hang over in my life. But considering I'm quite young I guess thats expected. Photobucket is where I get most of mine from. Some forums (like Polaris and I think Desperance) offer free webspace. That is also another place you can put them. Kingy — true. I actually expected Ben to have black hair and to not have glasses. I don't know why, though. EDIT: quote:Australia has a different school system. College is from year 7 (around 13 years old) to year 12 (around 17 years old). That photo was taken in late February to early March, and I am 13. quote:*twiddles fingers in Aran's face* :P Icshi is in possession of quite the voluminous, unruly beard. He looks like a younger version of one of the Communist philosophers, although I can't decide whether he resembles Marx or Engels. Ben does look rather like I imagined him, although I never pictured him as a carrot-top. :P You know, not knowing what Alo looks like is one thing, but Drakey is our administrator, for God's sake, and I haven't the slightest idea what he looks like. I find that quite a bit more disconcerting. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. The mind is bewildered by delusion. Reasoning is destroyed when the mind is bewildered. Think of a seven year old with a runny nose, dirty hands and a bandaid on his knee, and you will come pretty close to having the image. :P -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Polaris Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

quote:Well heck, I knew my beard looks Jewish! Never heard of this Chasid, though. It often causes me trouble at airports, and it makes me want to have a stern talk with the security people there. Something along the lines of "I look like a Jew, you moron, not an Arab!" My dad's also got a big poofy beard, but my brother keeps his short. And no, we're not really Jewish, we just hate shaving. Shaving is unnatural. quote:Good gravy, man! If you think my beard looks unruly in that picture—taken a couple of years ago—you should see it now... I'm starting to look like Rasputin. Except mine is much, much cleaner. And I don't have that devilish gaze. In fact, come to think of it, it's about jolly time that I give it a good trim. I'll probably need the hedge clippers. -------------------- The A.E. van Vogt Information Site My Tribute to the Greatest Writer of the Science Fiction Golden Age Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |

Definitely the one in the middle. Even if the appearance doesn't give it away, the maths should. [ Saturday, July 23, 2005 18:49: Message edited by: Ash Lael ] -------------------- Sex is easier than love. Posts: 1861 | Registered: Friday, February 11 2005 08:00 |
