Drakey was around for a while before then.

Drakey, to hear him tell it, was playing Spiderweb games in the womb (and before).

Schrodinger, that beard makes you look very evil, especially combined with lab coat. :) And congrats on having released a press release. What was the press release about?

And Drakey finally lifts the veil of mystery, revealing that he is 10, rather than 7. :)

PS I might follow the trend of posting very old pictures.

EDIT: Looking at that pic again, I notice there is a worrying red mark on the wall, and something that looks a lot like blood dripping from the baby's smiling mouth. So I conclude that she is in fact the cutest vampire ever.

Lol, I do tend to take people too seriously (except for my close friends of course), so I guess I need to start working on it. It is just hard to know when you are joking and when you aren't since I don't know you that well. Nevertheless, I'll try harder.

Ps. Lol, the red mark on the wall and the red juice dripping from Jean's mouth has probably got more to do with the lolli pop she is holding than any type of blood.

I know this really isn't my place to inform you, but Schrodinger's press release is here, an article by one Francis Reddy on how some experiments conducted upon meteorites by Schrodinger's research team suggest that Earth's phosphorous is largely extra-terrestrial. I'm curious as to how this is working out in the scientific community, actually. It would explain why Schrodinger is so busy, at least.

Oh, and I found the article by searching for Schrodinger's name on Astronomy.com based on the URL for that photo, by the way.

The following picture is one which captures my personality perfectly:

Since I am mortally afraid of having my picture taken, I have no pictures, other than one that my mum keeps. And a few that friends have managed to take.

I quite like my boxy glasses. That one's pretty recent. Didn't the last thread devolve into a Mr. and Mrs. Spidweb contest or something similar?

That sounds like fun. I nominate You, Kel, and Thuryl.

Edit: can you nominate people who don't have pictures?

You mean... base a contest on something other than physical appearance?

...wtf?

Slp, I believe he posted that article himself when it came out in August 2004. I suppose the newer members wouldn't have seen it, though...

What are you implying Drakey? That I am in fact a mythological beast of some description?

Looking in the mirror, I'd say either the Loch Ness Monster, or a rock guitarist.

I think Drakey implied that you wouldn't be able to see yourself in the mirror at all. ;)

The paper on this subject is en route to publication and should be available next month in the journal Astrobiology. And yes, that's why I've not been around here too much (Ph.D. work), in addition to getting married and buying a house :) .

"I am by far the most attractive Spidwebber. You can take my word for it!"

Somehow that seems like a dubious proposition in most cases.

—Alorael, who strongly resembles a malformed troglodyte (in the dictionary sense of the word, not the Exile kind) with questionable personal hygiene and remarkably off-putting skin diseases. He isn't one, though.

I only know the reason behind one moniker. And that can be found at Polaris. I would provide the link, but it does not seem to be working.

IE with Windows XP.

Anyway, the reason why Alo had his moniker as 'Exploding Head' was because of an atricle on Wikipedia about exploding head syndrome. It is not a real head expolsion, just a loud noise inside your head. Its not dangerous, although it may seem that way.

Contrary to popular belief, or more accurately, Drakey's beliefs, I am not a vampire of any description. I don't like the sight of blood. Coffee, on the other hand...

Wow, Alo! I never knew you posted anywhere other than Spiderweb. Take the absolute value of your post count, however, and you've been there forever.
