quote:Well, yeah. States where the gun control laws are very lax are rural, conservative states. And the rural conservative states have less urban areas. And less urban areas means less violence. People in urban areas in liberal states with tight gun control laws are going to have violence no matter what because there is poverty. Similarly, rural and relatively wealthy states will have less violence regardless of gun laws. Harlan Mcgrady is entirely fictional. It is a comedian pretending to be the presidents speech writer. I believe it the comedian is Andy Dick. -------------------- "Like most of life's problems, this one can be solved with bending" Posts: 287 | Registered: Tuesday, August 19 2003 07:00 |

I don't think so. His accent is artificial as to make him sound folksy. But his speech errors cannot be deliberate. I mean, come on, why would you plan to forget a well known saying like "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." -------------------- "Like most of life's problems, this one can be solved with bending" Posts: 287 | Registered: Tuesday, August 19 2003 07:00 |

The problem with non linear storylines for me is, unless there is to be a full game for each one, it gets boring after you finish the first. Honestly I think the original Avernums have more replay value than GF. After I finish the game once I'm over it because many of the different endings are very similar. EDIT: I read the interview, and I like how there will be one major storyline and two other game-winning quests to do. Sounds much better than the GF style storylines. The Spanish word for "page" is "pagina". While it is pronounced pa-hee-na, it can be entertaining to say pa-gina. Just thought I'd put that out there.
