While we're on bug fixes, I ran into one right here.

Upon reentering Fort Alora one of the north gate door terrains was one square north from where it should be.

I'll PM you everything else I found.

Your box is full so I emailed it.

I wanted to ask, too, since it's not explained anywhere else that I could find, how do you calculate the chances of whether or not a monster summoned by your special spells will be friendly or hostile? The description of the spell didn't say anything about a failure rate so I don't know if it's a bug or not.

I am interested. I would like to make a BoA scenario. I don't know if life would let me by March.

Possible move in January, trip to Nicaragua in February. Packing, unpacking, and major cleaning in between. I'll probably have to pass.

He mentions 'landing' the fish. It also works with 'gear' as suggested by Constance in the cellar.

I could use a new pair of shoes, I've worn these for over five years. Some new curtains would be nice.

I know I'm getting homemade venison jerky and a duck (ready to be roasted) from my parents.

For fishing you talk to Brother Alf north of the pond until he lets you use his fishing gear.

For scrolls you talk to Methusela (I don't think I spelled that right). He is in a room just north of the west gate. Fair warning, it was designed to trick you first time through.

They're pretty much right next to each other and there are only 3.3 towns to explore...

Just use the special spells until he's dead. That's all there is to it. I don't know how Bain calculated the hp to take against him or if it's just a timed fight. I don't really feel like looking.

There are four tasks to complete to move forward and one sidequest that isn't essential.

I should probably get to writing a walkthrough for it, huh? Shame on me for not having one done already.

I pronounce Alo's name "a-LORRA-el".

It's kinda wierd and puts a feminine twist on it but I've never spelt his name wrong since. Spelling is the most important after all.

Reason #1: I didn't notice it until I had already set the number of choices and was halfway through filling them in. Being in a big hurry, I didn't want to risk losing the work I had already put into it.

Reason #2: In light of the complaints about people picking more then one caption, I thought combining them would be a workable compromise rather then excluding it.

I like to pick the best caption I think of and leave the rest out, myself. It seems like common courtesy so that other people have more to work with. Don't get me wrong, I'm an attention whore with the worst of them, I just try not to be too obvious.

As far as I knew, I had the newest version. It said 1.0.1 in the readme. I don't remember where I got it from but I just downloaded the version Lazarus links to on his site.

The turn_on_debug_mode line is gone so I think I'll just start over with it.

I've gotten to the sewers but the boat is missing. I don't know how it got taken out or how to put it back.

In case it helps, I've been keeping tabs on errors and bugs and when I opened the game this time it gave me an error on startup:

Unknown command turn_on_debug_mode in line 45

In other news (though not detrimental to game play) none of the shops will work for me. They are all empty. Anybody got any ideas how to fix it?
