Embers of Rebellion, my second scenario for BoA, is finally complete! Thanks to everyone who helped beta-test and such.

Anyway, go get it here! Both Mac and Windows versions are available there.

(Don't go to Shadowvale or Spidweb yet, since I gave Tyran a bad copy and Jeff probably hasn't uploaded it yet.)

And then, go rate it at the Lyceum, once somebody creates the topic for it.

Yay!

Hurrah! Jubilations! Etc.

Um, the windows version on your site still seems a little odd. It's got a folder called _MACOSX, and a few other unexpected files. It still seems to work though.

OK, the new, correct versions are available on Shadow Vale now. Here is the Mac version, and here is the Windows version.

Edit: It might help if I spelled the link correctly.

I would like to start immediately, but have vowed to myself to finish my Nano before starting a game again.

Anyway, to me the Trinity of BoA Masters consists of Ephesos, Kelandon and Terror's Martyr. I can't wait to try the new work.

I see that Aran safely used alphabetical order. :P And Smoo might have something to say to that list.

I look forward to playing this, probably sometime next week.

The undead are turning in their graves. Did you really think that it was demons who stopped you earlier? It was undead. Liches, in fact. They are coming, Ephesos! Coming!

I would have included Smoo, but a Trinity is a Trinity. Still, Mages of Cattalon was an extremely impressive piece of art.

And yes, as in the quote in your sig, I avoid comparing you two like the plague. :P

Nice work, Ephesos! I'll rate it once I run through it with a properly leveled party.

Oh well. I guess I'll just settle for being the guy who makes scenarios for the sake of diversity in scenarios in stead of praise from others. *Runs to a dark corner and sobs uncontrollably for several hours while listening to emo music.*

On an unrelated note it seems that Spiderweb has already put Embers of Rebellion on their tables and WtRM but not Rats Aplenty. After I checked that I did actually send RA to Spidweb I noticed that I, for some reason, sent it to spidweb@yadayada in stead of blades@yadayada. I suppose my email got lost in the passage of time. I'll just have to resend it.

These are my scenarios. I may have too much free time but I really don't care.

Good work Ephesos. Once Jeff fixed the problem that's present in all Avernum games on Mac OS 10.4.8, I'll play it through and rate it.

You might want to be thankful. It appears Jeff messed the description up on EoR. And for all of us who don't want to meander over to the tables to see the error, here it is.

Well, I just figured we'd wander around, kill some sentient creatures because they had green skin and fangs and we don't, and then take their stuff.

Oh, it's an a, is it?

Well you have proporti good scenario. I give it an proporti+.

On a serious note, expect to see my rating sometime in the next three hours. It'll be a good one.

EDIT: 7.1

And would you look at that! You already have three ratings!

jmho But maybe you should edit your first post so people just getting into the thread don't download the wrong scenario. It should have been equally as easy to just change the links on your website since you'll have to do it anyway... Again jmho.

Good job getting it done.

They seem to be going progressively downward too. :P

NVM - I didn't bother to look at who posted "the new, correct versions".

I enjoyed the scenario, but near the end I found a rather strange bug...After leaving the rebel caves in that boat, and getting rescued, my characters couldnt stand up. They somehow were left wandering around like limbo dancers. Leaving the scenario and going into another didnt help, the lot of the lazy louts were still collapsed on the ground. Just how potent was that booze in Embers, Ephesos? Took 'em combat mode to get back on thier feet.

Drat. I thought I'd fixed that bug, but it appears that it was in several places. Thanks for pointing it out, Arrna.

It's been fixed, and the new version (1.0.1) is on my site (so, same link as before). It should show up on Shadowvale and the SW tables eventually. But the only file that changes in the update is t8Camp.txt, just so you know.

EDIT: So, why not go rate it at the Lyceum, Arrna? :D

Very odd though...it appears my computer doesnt like t8camp.txt files...I had problems with one in Exodus as well (boy, what a saga that turned into O.o)
