Ok, Jeff finally responded:

-We made Nethergate so that we could sell a lot of copies of it and make
money. It's worked out all right for that purpose, but we are not going
to write another one.

You sure? I recall that if you give them your equipment a special message appears saying, "You nervously hand over your equipment. The demons laugh and dissapear. You are not quite sure what you have unleashed" or something like that. I don't think they attack you if you give 'em the loot.

For an interesting surprise in a scenario (I might do this in my own, feel free to use it if you wish :D ) you could make an item called "flimsy bow" or "plastic javelins" but give them good attack bonuses. ;)

Another little something that would be interesting in A4 is the pants/shirt dialoge. When you go to "info" on pants, it says stuff about if you don't wear your pants you will be excluded from most social circles. It would be interesting if your people didn't wear any pants and you go into a tavern and a special message comes up saying, "You walk into the tavern, pantless. Many people scream. They all quickly exit". I know that sounds weird, but it would just kinda be funny.

Well, we've all heard about the "Numa-Numa Virus" that gets sent hundreds of times each day. The guy has been on the news, Numa-Numa has made several appearances on flash sites, and Newgrounds have changed their name to "Numagrounds".
